I love being able to customize everything and watch it made right in front of you with the liquid nitrogen. we have loved creamistry in the past. it has been a year since we visited. when we entered the store, we were the only patrons. a few patrons entered after us. my husband and I ordered a small and a medium and it was over $20. he ordered the Caramel Brownie Batter. it was chocolate ice cream with a drizzle of caramel and a few brownie pieces. nothing really special. I ordered cookies and cream with strawberries mixed in. after 15 minutes of ordering, mine was incorrect. we had also asked for ours to be double frozen. neither were. they were both melting before we exited the parking lot. this was a very disappointing visit. Like the ice cream but when we entered this establishment there is an odor in the air, the walls, tables are dingy and very dirty. The windows look like they have not been cleaned in years, and they are still distance stickers from Covid, Valentine's Day and graduation. There are some positive things about this place and I want to point those out before I get to the negatives. First, this is very a novelty experience. They use liquid nitrogen to create the treat and it is very neat and the rooms gets filled with the water vapor coming off of it. It would be fun to take the children or a date on. Now for the bad, this is expensive. You pick a base and after that every flavor and topping cost extra. That is unclear from the menu. So a strawberry banana milkshake cost $15+. And they don't blend the milkshake, which makes for a thick milkshake, thankfully they provide large straws (think the kind you use for boba tea). The other thing is this is too sweet, like sickly sweet. After a few bites it is unbearable and I threw most of it away. Children will love this, maybe the parents not so much. And for whatever reason the health department score wasn't posted but you can ask to see it. That seems questionable. And most of the tables were dirty. I still wonder what that score was. It was interesting but I don't plan on going back. read more

The only positive things I could say about this place is that it's a fun experience for kids to watch them make their ice cream and that it's clean inside and has plenty of seating. The ice cream itself wasn't great. It's overpriced especially for the quality. The staff all looked miserable. They seemed annoyed at any question we asked and barely even looked at us or any of the other customers when speaking to them. They were just on their phones and the person ringing us up was even checking her phone while we were ordering. We came here because we were in the area and it was the closest place for ice cream when we were looking for an ice cream place. I don't recommend coming here. read more

Once our order came out we sat and they ate theirs while we were here. This place really caters to kids as their is a huge TV screen playing while you wait. They also offer pints of premade ice cream togo, whole ice cream cakes, shakes, ice cream floats, affogatos, and ice cream sandwiches. For the custom option, you first choose a base from their signature base, cashew base, or coconut base options. The cashew and coconut base are $1.25 extra, but are a good option for those that prefer a vegan option. Next you pick a flavor, and they have plenty of good ones to choose from. Some of the ones I've tried are Madagascar Vanilla Bean, Matcha, and Thai Tea. I've been a fan of each of these, and I think that the flavors for the Matcha and Thai Tea are accurate in taste. I usually prefer my ice cream without a bunch of toppings, but for those interested, the next optional step is toppings. Most of the toppings here are ones that you can find at your average ice cream shop. However, one thing to note though is that each topping you add is 75¢, so keep that in mind or else your total will end up being pretty expensive. Without any toppings and the regular base my total came out to about $7.50 after taxes. In case you haven't learned, Creamistry uses liquid nitrogen (-321 degrees!) to quickly cool their ice cream base as they mix your chosen flavor into a huge stainless steel mixer. This is the only ice cream shop where you get a mini concert for every ice cream served, because the liquid nitrogen pours out of the mixer, across the counter, under the divider, and onto the floor like a fog machine! It's fascinating to watch. They have tons of flavors and are always updating them. I have yet to try one and not like it! I would totally recommend their current Autumn creation; it features a brown butter ice cream, caramel, brownie bits, and dark chocolate pieces. When there isn't a seasonal creation to try, Nutella and Cheesecake are the flavors I always come back to. Now, Creamistry's ice cream is different from any ice cream or soft serve you have ever had. It isn't "icy" at all. It is cold of course, but there is no grit or iciness to it. It's a completely silky smooth concoction that I can only akin to gelato. Forget about Marble Slab, Cold Stone, and Baskin Robbins, Creamistry is far and away the best little bowl of heaven this side of the asteroid belt! My only criticism is the cost. It's about $6 for their smallest portion of ice cream, which is large enough for two to share. But because their ice cream isn't something they bend into an ice chest and scoop out, you can't really get two different flavors in one bowl. This used to be one of our family favorites, but sadly has gone ALL THE WAY downhill. My family and I stopped by for a treat and were especially disgusted with the current unsanitary conditions. The young staff is so poorly trained and managed, I'm sure this has a lot to do with the current state of the business. SO DIRTY! When I asked about cleaning they RUDELY stated that a service comes to clean "every night" but when I came back the next day JUST to humor myself, the SAME nastiness was untouched. He still got my order wrong but it wasn't too terrible. I wanted my fruity pebbles mixed in and they they ended up just putting them as a topping.
