The staff are not knowledgeable of the products that they are selling. I purchases a couple of atomizers, a new drip tip, and some juice. The drip tip is a drip tip, works fine. The atomizers do nothing but flood. Nothing I can do will fix the problem. I'm having the same issue on all 3 of them that I purchased...they are cheap knock off's of a good atomizer. And the juice is bland. It is lacking badly in the flavor department. I might as well have gotten just straight pg/vg! The girls that work there are "perky" and pretty, but couldn't answer the simplest of questions. This shop might mature into something good, but for now I will continue to go to All About Vapor in Round Rock, even though they have a log line, it's worth the wait for knowledge. read more

I was really disappointed with this place. I've been using electronic cigarettes for almost 2 years now. The flavors were really bad, I've made better flavors myself at home. The staff seems to be very new to the business and not very knowledgeable which would explain the poor quality of the flavorings. The staff was friendly enough, but with other much more knowledgeable and experienced staff making flavors at other vaping shops in town like All About Vapor i just can't justify coming here for anything. read more

I tried using this place for 6 months and what a joke . Two or three times a week going there for products malfunctions and they try and blame it on you . All the smelly juice poured over your clothing ,, yep blame it on the costumer ,,what did u do to this junk we over prices and sold you Well I am handy Cap so I sat and watched TV smoking and I am to wild I used the product and if it rolled off my lap and hit the carpet with a thick padding it would fall apart and wires would break We're suppose to use the products but they find it funny to talk behind your back and he is bad new this man spent 700 .00 in are store don't trust this man .. What a joke I even tried talking to the owner , still the same bs he brags how smart he is getting cheap product , sure over priced knock off's . If u are so smart why are they so crappy Ow wait the owners profit is more important then u and I getting a good product for a decent price I went to the place at McNeal and i83 what a difference ,night and day difference people are friendly and the prices were almost half , Justin tells me 10 bucks for a batterie the other place was 3 bucks .i could buy three for,the same price , they don't have sexy little girls running the store but they do have a nice lady that is smart helping u I bought a 100.00 e Cig from Palmer lane and a week later it died they told me to leave it and come back in a few hours and would have it fixed ,nope ow I forgot about u .next day I went back and was told they don't fix them and have no clue were mine was . So there is three trips then the next day I go back for trip number four ,,, ,well we are going to do u a favor and replace it ,a favor it is suppose to have a warranty , thanks for the run around I don't need to run my own business I have lots of time to be jerked around and treated like crap and over pay for every thing I don't know about u all but I would rather drive to i83 McNeal and get half the price and adults running the place, and they even threw in a bunch of free stuff and offered me a bottle of water of water to boot .. Ow Palmer lane doesn't mind you bring booze into the place and drink while u shop . That's all I need is a drunk next to me that is so classy People are not stupid they will catch on to your crappy way of doing business and get sick of you over charging them . Create a cig. Terrible. This was my first experience with a brick and mortar store in town that sells e cigarettes. I found e-cigarettes because I was hanging out with some smoking buddies and saw one of them had converted to e-cigarettes, and it looked like a great alternative to smoking tobacco. I had been trying to stop smoking, and I wanted something that would fix the oral/social aspect of smoking, without the smell and the other chemicals that come from burning tobacco and inhaling it. I found this place online, and went in that afternoon to their store, excited and ready to learn. I was SEVERELY disappointed. For one, when you go in, it feels like a head shop mixed with a place that should sell old fashioned soda pops. The staff was not very professional, and I could tell, wanted to just sell me an expensive set up that was way more than I needed to just try it out and get started. They also don't offer very many choices in types of batteries and cigarette styles compared to what is generally available elsewhere. They pretty much just push one kind of set up for an e-cigarette, and if you want something different, they frown on you. I talked to several different people over a couple days, and the overall impression I got was that they were there to make a quick sale. They were impatient with my questions, and gave me vague unhelpful responses when I asked why they picked one set up over another. I also asked about some of the other vaporizer equipment they had on display, and the sales people said they didn't know anything about it. They had never used it before, and could not tell me anything about it. I ended up going home with a piece of equipment that was way more than I needed, difficult to use, leaked and was bulky. I was much happier with a simple set up I ended up getting elsewhere for less than 1/3 of what I paid there. You would be better off doing your research online on one of the e-cigarette forums to figure out the best set up for your needs. If you are trying to quit smoking, these guys don't have what you need to get the job done. It is a bubble gum shop for vapeheads, and even that, I would consider a poor one, considering the level of knowledge and professionalism of the staff. As one other reviewer said, they don't even wear gloves to prepare your liquids, which means they are getting nicotine and contaminants all over something you are about to inhale. I literally had one guy ask me to open up my own device because his hands were too "sticky" from all the glycerin and nicotine on them. read more

This place is awful. The customer service is choppy, they are not knowledgeable about the products, and they don't care. All of their products are overpriced cheap knock-off's of the real thing, including the e-liquid. I came here to replace an atomizer and purchase a new type of atomizer and get some e-liquid as I was almost out and wanted to take advantage of not having to order online. Their liquids taste terrible even though I was told "we try to keep up with the standard flavors", of which there is no standard. When the guy had time to talk to me between 2 other customers, he gave me the PG vs. VG vs nicotene speech as an excuse to no throat hit. I asked him to remix it and it did nothing. I seemed to be bugging him because he was so busy with other customers. I thought the liquid was bad but it turns out that it is both the liquid and the cheap knock off products. I bought a replacement atomizer which had no product logo and doesn't work. I bought 3 atomizers total, an EgoT and two Vision Clearomizers, all give nothing but dry hits no matter what. Everything I bought doesn't work and taste like crap no matter what I do. I have been using e-cigarettes for 3 years now and I know what to do when the burnt taste/dry hits come, and I know what a good e-cigarette is like. I bought RY4 that has developed a menthol flavor. The caramel they make tasted sickly sweet. The vanilla tasted like perfume. I will never go back. It was a complete waste of time and money. read more

I LIVE on Parmer and have to drive to all the way to the Oltorf location to get juice. Buying mods and wicks are ok at Parmer. I vape Milk of the Mother. I asked the Oltorf guys why their flavor iz consistent and Parmer's version sucked. They said Parmer eye balls the recipe instead of using precise measurements. It sucks driving 30min across town because the shop a mile down the road can't get their sh#t together. read more

I have vaped for about 3 years. I remember this store when it was a bunch of inexperienced kids and and boxes and boxes of products in a big empty room. I've been on the vape for a couple years and gradually got down to 0 nic, and quit altogether. I started smoking analogs again, and doc told me to quit or write my will. I went in again, and while the store is WAY better organized, and the staff has mo better' know about the product, I get an attitude of no can do on stuff. I have older tanks, was informed the manufacturer "won't send o-rings". wow. got on the website and they're for sale for $3. If they were $5 at the store, I'd have bought them. I asked about no drip tanks, and the response was, "they don't exist". Actually, they do, and have a lifetime warranty. I have one on order from the manufacturer. I then wanted to know if they had a Hometown Hero flavor in a 6. No, but it's on order. Again, they're in Austin, so I popped on their website and ordered my flavor. You guys can't sell nothing out of an empty wagon. The manufacturer won't send O-rings because you didn't order them. No drip tanks are on the market and you need to know your market in this fast paced world. You should have lots of flavors in stock, in a variety of strengths. You can't sell nothing out of an empty wagon kids. read more

This place is the worse. The workers know nothing about what they are selling and the products that they sell are pure crap. I have gotten some tanks and they have fallen apart days after getting them. The fluid is okay. I have had better elsewhere. This was my first e cig and I was hoping they would show me the ropes. Guess what? They did not. The guy that sold it to me was very unhelpful I think a monkey would do better. I walked out still confused scratching my head. I end up coming back every week cause something always go wrong. When you ask for a recommendation they are very unhelpful there too. I ask for a better tank and I get the answer none that we have besides the one you have are any good. ANY GOOD! The one I have doesn't hit right half the time. I have wasted a bunch of wicks on this and money. Really? Which takes me back to my second sentence. What great sales rep you have there. Half of them have bad attitudes when you come in. I went here because they were right by my house. But now I have started to go to another local e cig shop and have gotten the assist that I was looking for even though they are much further away. Never again will I go here and neither should you. read more

i bought a larger battery from the Bastrop location and it broke after putting it in my pocket ... one time. The lady refused to refund or even offer a discount on a new one because "She told me not to put it in my pocket" (She did not). I just went to let them know that the .99 cent cigarette lighter I bought did not break in my pocket, nor did my cell phone, or any other property that I had. They may want to think about putting enough quality in their product to withstand the rigors of a... pocket. read more

Have been vaping Since Feb, and the fiancé and I are really enjoying it. We started with All About Vapor. We had been hearing some really good things about this other place, Create A Cig, that was a lot closer to our house. so we went. First off, Alan seemed knowledgeable and was thrilled that he was going to be able to steal a customer from Kenny up at AAV. We were just interested in some cartomizers and some new liquid. Nobody told us that they only tested the flavors without the nicotine, so when we got home and cleared out and reassembled our tanks with CaC liquid, we were disappointed to realize that not only did they not taste anything like what we had tested in the store, but they tasted like they were filled with a mixture of canola oil, butter and chemicals that left a horrible after taste in our mouths. the cartomizers that we got were knockoffs and they flooded constantly and burned out really fast. so the next day I went back to see if they could fix whatever was wrong with the flavors. The girl behind the counter was sweet, and really did try to help me out, but no luck. after trying out several dozen different flavors, and settled for two, but we cant vape them without feeling like our lungs are filling up with oil. I will at this point mention that the staff did wear gloves on the first visit (Darrell was there) but not on the second (Darrell was not there) I have gone back a few times to try and repair the awful taste of the liquids, but to no avail. The sad part for us is we had had a conversation with Darrell about possibly franchising with him for a location of our own, but if these are the quality of products he is using, then I say no thank you. And to Alan, no you have not stolen any customers from Kenny. We are lifelong AAV customers. Also, for those that don't know: The company Create a Cig itself has been black listed by Joye-tech for selling knock off items. I have been a very loyal customer to these guys since they opened. I had always thought very highly of them and recommended them many times. For the last year, they have taken a downward spiral. I constantly have had to take my setups in to be fixed and now they have the audacity to roll their eyes at me right to my face because of how often I have to go in. I always thought I was doing something wrong. Instead, it was "you have a defective coil" "the person who made your juice isn't very good at making high vg" "even though the manufacturer suggests this coil, use this one instead it's better" "you can't use that coil in this setup and which ever rep told you that is wrong". I could keep adding to that series of excuses I get and every single person there has a different way of educating you on proper use (and no, I dont have a cheap setup). So much so, that it leaves you even less knowledgeable after all the conflicting product education. I recently went to another shop due to the proximity of where I was. I was amazed at how different their juice was to Create A Cig. It had an awesome high vg. It was more flavorable & I didn't find myself having to fill my setup several times a day. As a matter of fact, I only have to fill it once a day. Create a Cig customer service is absolutely terrible, with two reps excluded from that statement hence the two star rating, especially compared to two of their competitors I have visited in the last couple of weeks. My husband will no longer go there, going on two months now, because of the service he received. The atmosphere is way different now as well . Instead of feeling like you are in a place of business, it feels like you are walking into a high school party. That in turn has attracted and saturated a very immature client base and experience. If I was asked a year ago how I felt about them, I would have recommended them now I'm embarrassed about the times I did. I truly believe in having fun in the workplace, but when something is not being maintained at a superior level, it's time to take a break and get serious enough to fix issues. In a nutshell, if you are not educated enough regarding your setup and don't care to be (because nobody is on one single page and every piece of advice and solution is different between pretty much every rep & conflict with each other), thrive in unprofessional environments and like watered down product, this is the place for you. They do have competitive pricing though. I'm really disappointed in the route these guys have chosen to take. I am glad however that I took a chance and tried someone new. I realize the Create A Cig experience is not every vape store experience and sadly they are losing in this competition. Good luck to the Create A Cig owners. Your employees and the service they provide is the face & definition of your business and yours is looking very unattractive at this point. read more

Worst vapor shop ever. I walked in the door and none of your employees greeted me. The employees were standing around talking to friends, and ignored me for about 15 minutes. I almost walked out because I was so frustrated. When I did get help what I assume to be an employee of yours came up and asked me what do you want. Not a hello, or how are you doing can I help you today. No it was what do you want? That is very rude and very unprofessional, I was appalled. I told your lazy employee what juice I wanted to purchase which you guys didn't have any juice I want to purchase. Bad business model. And when he did lazily help me he was picking his arms pimples the whole time I was talking to him and was touching everything while doing so, that is disgusting. I know I'm never going back and I advise everyone to do the same and not support create a cig. Maybe if you hire new employees that weren't so crappy people would actually come to your store. It doesn't look like there's a single person in that store that knows what they're doing read more

Great flavored juice, the employees are nice and they have an awesome gear selection. I've been in twice now and both times have been a pleasant experience. I really like how you can choose your own nicotine strength and not have to choose from pre measured solutions. I only have two complaints. First, trying juices is time consuming because the employee has to load each juice for you into a sample vape. It would be nice if they had a station where you could try them yourself like at flavor vapor on burnet. Second, the employees seemed to be a bit confused on nicotine solution percentages. I came in asking for an e liquid with .5mg/ml of nicotine. They seemed to think that .5mg/ml of nicotine is the same as .5% of nicotine which is incorrect. .5% nicotine would be 5mg/ml nicotine, which is way higher than I was asking for. .5mg/ml is actually .05%. Think about it, does a 36mg/ml e liquid contain 36% nicotine? Heck no it doesn't. That would be a deadly amount. 36mg/ml equals 3.6%. Please take the time to familiarize yourselves with solution percentages. I did end up getting the right nicotine solution in my juice, but for a bit I was worried they were going to be giving me much more nicotine than I wanted. Anyways, I've been overall impressed with create a cig so far and will return when I need more juice. read more

have bought close to a thousand dollars worth of product from Create a cig in the last 6 months plus sent several friends to it, was totally happy til a hundred dollar mod i purchased from them quit working bout 45 day after puurchase. took it back for a exchange only to be told that they have a new policy of only 30 day warranty. could not believe that since all other stores i have gone to offer at least 90 days and looking at manufactors give 6 months. I left very unhappy and called the store to ask to speak to a manager, have never gotten a call back. This store was pretty cool when it opened great sales people, but as time passes have lost most of the good sales force, new ones could care less. Create a cig seems to think they are the only fish in the pond, got news for them. Have had great service and product from their biggest competitor, and no i have no connection with them, i wont even name them tho if you vape im sure you will know who i mean. Long story short Create a Cig has seen my last dollar and recommendation. read more

My question to Ashley was "what is vape flavoring made of?" Her only reply was "it is flavored with PG." Good 'ole PG - the colorless, odorless, virtually tasteless liquid, happens to be the Everlasting Gobstopper of vape additives. The appropriate answer would've been, "I don't know, let me find out from someone." I tried politely rephrasing this simple question twice over. This one tastes like blueberries - is it made with actual blueberries, I asked. "It's just PG blueberry," she said. Then she tried insulting me by asking if I could "name the thousands of chemicals in an American Spirit?" ...an irrelevant and factually innacurate assertion about my favorite cigarette. "PG is approved by the FDA, if that makes [me] feel better?" It doesn't, because my question wasn't about the laughable safety standards of the FDA, whom also regulate cigarettes and toxic food pesticides. PG is so magical, so "coolio," as Ashley would say, just before she fills up my fiancé's vape to "get it nice and juicy for [him]." With side-eye, she then asks me if she should stop mixing my order? Too bad she didn't want to make it nice and juicy for me, too. She's here six days a week, folks, including tomorrow as mentioned to my fiancé, when he said he'd probably be back for the inevitable replacement vape. She's very available in case he wants to come by and hear her golden nuggets of wisdom. Someone should notify her the coquette nit-in-booty-shorts sales tactics are for the strip clubs and gullible single dudes. Ignorance is forgivable; an ignorant rote response, overt with wrongfully held condescension, is not. She was so rude, sassy, and weirdly flirtatious with a taken man. Her complete deficit of professionalism was the first thing he noted when we stepped out of the store. It wasn't just me. Food grade flavor additive is mixed with a PG base, Ashley. "Knowledge is power," as she had patronizingly reminded me. The shop itself is nice and has a robust and tasty flavor selection. The other staff I interacted with were pleasant. A mistake was made by letting this chick represent a product meant to be consumed by adults.

Some have really friendly, knowledgeable staff. Some are clean and well kept. Some are well organized. It's hard to find a store with several of these attributes at once. There's always a sacrifice. While I don't know if Cloudhouse delivers, they certainly earned by business. The store is gorgeous: clean, well stocked, and well organized. It *smells* right - that mix of vape flavors mingling in the air, but it's not heavy or overpowering. The staff are great. Patient, knowledgeable, and full of useful recommendations. Alyssa helped my girlfriend a week or so ago when she went and grabbed me some juice and coils, and then helped me today when I needed a new tank and or order a new mod. The one I wanted wasn't in stock, but there were a LOT of mods in stock and on display. I wanted something they had sold out of and would be getting more of later. I got juice, a new tank, and a pack of coils for a fair price. Their selection of both premium and house juices is vast. I'm sure there are places that have more, but not one I've run across in the last couple of years. I am very impressed with the quality of their house juice - the flavors are amazing and fairly priced for the quality. Well worth visiting and shopping at. Their parking lots is small, and it's hard to get up to the door if you have mobility impairment, but it's worth the extra work to trudge up the ramp. Once inside the store, there is more than enough room, and plenty of comfortable ways for anyone and everyone to get access to products and assistance. I am very pleased with my experience there.

Create a Cig is the new kid on the block in terms of the central Texas vaping scene. They opened right at the end of 2012 and are already opening new stores both here in Texas and elsewhere in the southern US. I love this place. The store is well laid out, with attractive and colorful displays showcasing an incredible range of products, styles and mods. They have a very comfortable place to sit and wait (though, there is almost never a wait) and the store is clean, well-lit and extremely professional. The staff are not just patient and courteous, but they actively engage with the customers and work hard to get you the right equipment and juice, including going so far as to mix up custom flavors. They have a HUGE range of flavors already, but (as most vapers know), the combinations are endless. Their flavors are both the regular flavors you find in almost every vape shop, but there are flavors here that show they take risks and are willing to experiment. They not only experiment on each other, but they listen to their customers and try out the best combinations of flavors. Everyone there is friendly, glad to see everyone who comes in the door. They are passionate and knowledgeable about their products and are always willing to spend as much time with their customers as they need to. One of the best things they do is they work with each other and support each other as they work, keeping a smooth, fast flow of information, assistance and suggestions going, all the while involving their customers. The products they sell are top quality and very varied. They don't have every classification and kind of device, cartomizer and device, but they have the broadest range of mods, gadgets, and kinds of devices I have ever seen in a vapor shop. From circuit protectors to drip shields, to drip tips to a staggering range of designs, colors, shapes and sizes of batteries, cases, tanks and mouthpieces. Every time I come in, they show me something new and interesting. From colored caps to differentiate nicotine strengths to tips that angle mouthpieces - there's always something new to look at to enhance the vaping experience. They also offer great customer incentives, including a referral program and a smartphone app. Their level of professional and personalized service is fantastic (and is one of the things that sets vapor shops apart from even other niche retail stores) and they seem to be truly invested in their customers and their satisfaction. Overall, I'm very impressed with Create a Cig and I have never been disappointed by them. I look forward to seeing them expand and bring in more products and product lines. read more

Create A Cig - I have read the reviews and frankly the ones that are NOT good are shocking to me. Our son purchased a starter set for my husband and I. I was skeptical to say the least. My husband had been smoking for more than 50 years and I had been smoking for 35 years. At first, we just sort of looked at the strange looking product - wondering if it could really help us quit smoking....guess what - it did! We started out with a nicotine level of 24 and graduated down every 6 weeks. My husband is down to level 6 nicotine and I am down to just vaping - no nicotine...my favorite flavors - TEXAS SMOOTH - COLA - CALI-FRUIT. My husband prefers TEXAS SMOOTH - plain ole cigarette flavor. As for the store at Parmer and Lamplight Village - love it! The people there are really helpful and have helped me to quit smoking those carcingen-filled cigarettes. I think that some people are failing to realize that this is what the goal should be - to get off of the nasty smelling cigarettes that are slowly killing them. Sure there are other stores out there - but for us - Create A Cig is perfect. I love that they are there to answer questions and let me try different flavors while I am enjoying being able to "sort of smoke" without the nasty and lasting effects of smoking cigarettes. My husband was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and was told he really needed to quit smoking. Create A Cig has helped him to do this. Expensive? Not really compared to paying $240.00 a month for cigarettes that were adding to his issues and starting to affect MY health - it's cheap. We have cut our spending down in this area tremendously! Please - if you do have a problem with any product Create a Cig sells you - talk to them - talk to the owner if you want to - they will make it right. Anyone who doesn't communicate their concerns has no valid complaints. I believe in this company and believe that the good that they are doing by offering a healthier alternative to smoking cigarettes far outweighs any "inconvenience" or "flavoring" issues anyone may have. If the product doesn't work right - tell them - they will find out what the issue is and go from there. Happy Vaping everyone! I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews on here. my mom and i always go into create a cig, on north lamar, and havent ever had any issues. sure, weve had some products malfunction, but that's not create a cig's fault, its a faulty product that should be blamed on the manufacturer, and create a cig gladly replaced any defective item we encountered with either one that worked, or one that was better. when i first went in i got a simple starter kit and never had ANY problems with it at all besides one cartomizer i got that leaked. (which they gave me a free one the next time i went in which was like a month later), Josh is my favorite. he's always helping me pick out what would work best for me and always takes his time with me as well as the other customers he helps. honestly, i like all of the employees they have there. they're all super friendly and are good at their jobs. i just dont understand how anyone could say they have bad service. yes, there's a wait, but when you get busy, you get busy? not really something they can control (cant get mad that enough people love their store to make a line) but anyways, i would definitely recommend create a cig to anyone. they take responsibility for any faulty units and gladly replace them. unless its clearly your fault that they broke. in which, you shouldnt be s negative nancy about because it was your fault and why should someone else pay for your mistakes.... their flavors are great. dont see how they could taste like everclear or poo. maybe youre getting too high of a nicotine dosage and should simmer it down a bit so you can actually enjoy the flavor, afterall, it's not supposed to taste like a cigarette. if thats what you want you might wanna reconsider throwing the cigs out. my favorite is summers blend and banana pudding. both awesome flavors. and they're strong enough to actually taste so anyone who says they cant taste the flavor obviously hasn't tried them. i think that pretty much sums it up. read more

I have always had a pretty decent experience at the parmer location. There are a couple of employees who have stood out and i just wanted to mention them because i know that most people only take the time out of their day to rant about bad experiences and very rarely do they give credit where it's due. I came in one day pretty frustrated at the devices i had purchased. I came in and was met by a dark haired girl with a thick accent, i wish i had gotten her name. She did an outstanding job making certain that I understood how everything i had worked and how to take care of it and what i would need to get the best results in the most cost-effective way. I left much more confident and satisfied with what i had spent money on. Another employee who stood out to me, and i did get his name, was Josh. I came in one day tired from running errands and there's what looks to be a pretty significant wait. Irritated, i took a seat and got ready to wait indefinitely. I think everyone did a good job that day because the wait was only about 10 to 15 minutes and once again Josh was really helpful in what i needed and flexible with my budget, helping me find the best deals and even gave me a small discount for the wait! I was really impressed. All in all, and even though the products themselves still have a way to go before perfection, I have been impressed with the thoroughness and knowledgeability of their staff. read more

I don't have a clue what some of these people are smoking......or vaping. I am a regular at this store and not one time have I walked in the store and not been greeted or warmly welcomed. My partner and I went into the store just to check it out when I was contemplating whether or not to quit smoking analog cigarettes and we were COMPLETELY, 100% happy with the service we received. This place has provided me the tools and the support to quit smoking. It was worth every cent I have ever spent there. I always have a great time anytime I go in there and never feel rushed, then again I am not the kind of person to get my panties in a wad if there are a lot of customers there and they have to help other people before me. I do need to give MAJOR props to Anna, she is our girl and always seems genuinely happy to help and TOTALLY knowledgeable when it comes to vaping and the products. As for people crying about them not being knowledgeable, if one person doesn't know something about one of the products, they can always ask someone else. I would rather the sales person be honest than to just guess and possibly have the wrong answer but I have NEVER left the store with unanswered questions. I have tried other vape places and I can't stand any juices from any other place. I am a HUGE fan of this store and would defend it and their employees to any of the naysayers. read more

Stopped by today to check the store out. Nice store and I was greeting very nicely when I walked in. There was one lady waiting and 3 guys at the counter being waited on. I wasn't sure what the process was so I went to the glass counter. When one of the men at the other side left I went to the bar stool thinking that may be the process. Then a man came in the door and he was waited on next overlooking me and the other lady waiting. Then another man came in and someone started to wait on him when the lady and I both spoke up. She was waited on first( as should be). Then the guy who came in two after me was asked if he'd been helped, I spoke up again and again was ignored. Then another lady came in behind me and stood behind me and a gentlemen that worked there who looked at me I thought a couple of times and he still looked past me and offered her the help. I am a female that was wearing a bright Yellow and Orange construction vest, I was not hard to miss, but somehow was completely ignored and 3 people who came clearly after me were waited on. I was really looking forward to checking this place out and was very disappointed in the customer service. I of course left as I do not have all day to be ignored. I do want to give kudos to the guy mixing juices that made a point to greet everyone who walked in, for me, the customer service stopped there. read more

Great place I don't see why there is so many bad yelp views this place is amazing i walked into this place a couple of days ago not knowing anything about ecigs and walked out feeling like a pro when I walk threw the door I was welcomed with " hi welcome to create a cig" it was a little busy but the crowd faded away pretty quick they got their Customer In and out and still mannered to have short convo with them finally it was my turn a short lady walked up to the counter and asked how can I help you I told her how I just got a ecig and still didn't know anything about it she sat me down walked me threw it even tho my cig wasn't from them. (In the back of my head I just knew she was going to try to up sale me on something )but no she didnt she was so sweet and all smiles come to find out she was the manger but we fixed my problem and she had me try some flavor which were great with some awesome names "the doctor, flavor x, Gandalf the grey" I am so coming back to this place!!! I was told about this place by a good friend of mine. I started vaping after he did, but now I'm making my own liquids and even liquids for my friends to reduce everyone's cost.. but besides that, I went in today to see what the buzz is all about and I was very pleasantly surprised by the "hookah lounge" esque setting. I have been a hookah enthusiast for many years and vaping has been a complimentary hobby since I don't go for the nicotine at all. In any case, once inside, I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who was able to answer all of my questions with quick encyclopedic knowledge. He helped me pick out my new Kangertech Pro Tank for myself and because I was so confident in my purchase, I got one for my girlfriend along with one of their brand batteries. All of which work perfectly together. On a side note, to those of you worried about the "no refunds" If you actually talk to the employees there, they will tell you that if you buy their brand of product, they provide a 3 month warranty on it. I asked what that means for them and they said, if you don't like it or if it breaks, you can bring it back for a replacement or refund. This place is as good as it gets imo. read more

First and foremost God Bless America, and God bless Create a Cig. This wonderful establishment has truly brought me happiness. From the moment you step through the Pearly Gates of Create a Cig, you are greeted as if you are the only soul with the last dollar in the Universe. I step through the door and Samantha and Elliot greet me with the most warmest of welcomes, I immediately feel at home. I was perplexed as to what device I was going to get as I knew nothing of the the vapor world. Samantha would have nothing of that!!!! As I approached her, her very presence put me at ease. I was further comforted by Elliot's calm demeanour and charming good looks. I was absolutely astonished by the weath of knowledge between Samantha and Elliot, and how kind they were despite my limited knowledge. I ended up purchasing a wonderful Mod, tank, coils and juice at what I would personally consider the absolute best prices in town. I will highly recommend this store for any and all vaping needs. I've been going here for the past two years now, and while sometimes they don't have enough staff they are always very knowledgable. I've always been satisfied with all of my purchases and never felt like I was scammed. Their e-liquid flavors are by far the best I've found in all of Austin and Round Rock. While my experiences have always been good, no one who has worked there has really gone out of their way to be especially friendly and personable, except for Amanda. I don't know how long she's been working there but I had never seen her before yesterday. She was quite possibly the friendliest and most knowledgable person I've ever met at create-a-cig. She made sure I felt welcome and appreciated and because of her I will continue to go to this location even after I move to Georgetown. She deserves a raise. P.S. I use the shop on east Oltorf. Staff is attentive, friendly, patient and informed. I'm a regular and they treat me like a prince. Happy to do rebuilds for me if I ask, though I like doing my own builds, after they spent loads of time teaching me all the ins and outs. Their house blends are a mixed bag but they cheerfully take returns if u get home and just change your mind (I think it's a seven-day return policy on house juices, but double-check). A wide selection of testers to browse. Recently greatly broadened their stock of premium juices. Well-stocked on the latest goodies, mods, tanks, supplies etc. and their prices are in line with other shops and online. I've tried a handful of vape shops around town and these guys are easily my go-to shop. I really love create-a-cig. Been going for more than two years and I'll keep coming back. I found this place a month ago while visiting friends here in Austin. By far is this the best place i have found. The flavors are amazing. Including the banana pudding which I was positive would not be good but I love. Each time I come in the employees (especially Big Josh who can out mix anyone hands down not even close). I am from San Antonio and have bought eliquid on line and at multiple San Antonio stores. Don't waste your money come here. You won't regret it one bit. The prices, flavors, and customer service are top notch and can't be beat. Bottom line I have a vape store a mile of my house and 2 more if you go five miles out. Really surprised by some of the reviews. My experience has been totally different. I love this place and every employee I have dealt with has been incredibly nice and helpful. I've gone in 3 times, only for juice since I already have a couple of e-cigs. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes, and they always acknowledge me the minute I walk in. They take their time and mix as many juices as I want to try. Today my friend took in one we got in Galveston that we haven't been able to find here. They tasted it and played around with several mixtures until they matched it and actually improved it. My favorite is still Jack Sparrow, but they have no problem trying to help me find one I might like even better. This is my juice store. :) read more

I have no idea why anyone would give this store anything less than 4 stars. The staff is very friendly. They have answered every question I've asked, even the more complicated ones. I've sent every person who has asked about my vaping to this store. Eric is an awesome guy and makes fantastic liquids. (Try his yellow cake and Nutella mix) Most of the employees are seasoned vapers. They know their stuff. They use the equipment they sell. They try new things that are hitting the market. They charge right at MSRP for the items I've checked on. They take care of their customers and provide warranty services if anything is wrong. I highly recommend going here. This place is awesome. I have been a smoker for 22 years and was fighting the " vape thing" when my roommate dragged me in there to pick up some stuff. When I walked in Brooke was extremely helpful and answered any question I had. I made it out if there with all the parts I needed and the knowledge I needed and the equivalent of 15 packs of cigs for under 50$. It has been a week and I have only smoke three cigarettes. The ones I smoked taste horrible and I am fully confident that I will be quitting by next year. This place s amazing! I bought a vapor pen for my bf 3 weeks ago. He smoked a pack a day for that last 3 years. I didn't care the cost (quitting smoking is a hard task and it's hard to put a price on it) I wanted to make sure I did it right the first time since you really only get one real shot at this. For everything I got him only came out to 165. He got two 10 hour batteries, two capsules, a carrying case and 4 flavors. The customer services here is a joke, the guy that I was talking to about mechanical mods didn't know anything about the what I was asking him and kept on having to ask other associates for help regarding basic questions that almost every vaper should know. I went in to return a product that was purchased less than a month ago and was told that I could not because it wasn't defective. What kind of bs is that? If you want to go to a really good place where they really k ow what they are talking about, go to Craving Vapor. Amazing product that shocked me!!! My dad came to visit from Chicago a few weeks ago. For 39yrs he has had Copenhagen dip in his mouth every single day. Brought him in to Create A Cig. That very night, no dip! It has helped him dramatically! Not too mention how much he loves the product and the countless number of fun, yummy flavors!!! Hot cinnamon is our favorite! Awesome customer service and fantastic selection! Taylor is the BEST!! He set me up with the perfect device and e-liquid to get me off cigs. After talking with you, Taylor can pretty much figure out what you need to be successful and satisfied with your vape experience. Spot on with flavor suggestions. This place really set me up for success to quit smoking cigarettes. I went in not knowing a thing about vaping and Eric showed me everything without making me feel dumb! Great customer service and a great idea. They have so many different options for batteries, cartomizers, tanks, and even drip tips. In addition they sell a wide range of e-liquid flavors and they make it right in the store! Thanks create a cig! I'm vaping on some blow-pop right now. Yummmm.
