Update: I received my last refill of suppositories from creative 2 months ago. They were all melted by the time they arrived. I then switched to a different pharmacy. I'm so glad I no longer have to deal with melted medicine from Creative that cost more, but also realized my new pharmacy makes better and more effective suppositories. read more

Simply put, Creative Compounding Pharmacy is fast, professional, and knowledgeable. The difference is pretty clear between CCP and other pharmacies. They really know what they're doing here. Maybe because it's owned and operated by a pharmacist? Maybe because they're not corporate-owned? They certainly provide great customer service at a reasonable price. Their hours are not always very convenient, but I guess that goes along with all of the positives that I've mentioned. As far as I'm concerned, CCP sets the gold standard for pharmacies in Orange County and I highly recommend them. read more

I've been using Creative Compounding for several years now for my elderly kitty's meds. He now takes three different compounded meds, and I fill them all here. Why? Because accuracy, precision, and care in preparation matter. The meds are fresh and made to order, and I've never had a problem with the concentrations being incorrect or other issues I've had with online pharmacies. It does come with a price, but CC's pricing seems fair and reasonable for the peace of mind I have when I pick up the meds from them. The owner Denise is the most knowledgeable pharmacist I've ever met, and she's open to sharing her expertise with you. I like to extensively research the medications and treatments my vet recommends, and Denise has always answered my questions thoroughly and completely. She's amazing! Creative Compounding merged with another pharmacy and the quality of the medication is poor. They no longer deliver to your home. The medication was in transit in the mail for 10 days. My Maine Coon cat died shortly after the merger. His medication was transdermal and the consistency and texture completely changed with this new merger. Don't risk it. I was never informed that a merger was taking place. Prior to this merger the quality and service were excellent. read more

This review has been a long time coming. Denise and Carol are two of the most wonderful human beings I've ever met! We use them for our fur baby's compounded prescription for an auto-immune disease and liver disease. They have helped get our baby right on track after having s crazy scare. They're always so warm and welcoming and always have a treat to go with Potatoes' medication. There's absolutely not other compounding pharmacy I would trust with his medication. We moved to D.C. for a year and they mailed us his medication and we'll now be moving to SF and they still be mailing us his medication. There is just no pharmacy like theirs. I was recommend this pharmacy by my vet since they carried a rare drug that my poor kitty needed for her chronic diarrhea. They actually mixed it up with chicken flavor to make it more pleasant for my kitty since the pharmacist said that it is a really bitter tasting medication. The pharmacist was very nice and helpful with all my concerns about the medication. She explained everything in great detail and even gave my kitty some good treats at no charge!! read more

I had the good fortune of finding this compounding pharmacy, and specifically the pharmacist, Denise. I had a medical problem, a rash, that doctors weren't able to figure out. I stopped in to talk to Denise. She spent time with me, giving me advice, trying to help figure it out. The advice she gave me was very helpful, and came at a time when I really needed it. She did this without charge, or gaining financially from her time spent. She even searched on her own time for an answer and called to see how I was doing. My daughters and I love Creative Compounding Pharmacy. This fall we had an appointment at our family Doctor in Fullerton to get flu shots but they ran out the afternoon before our appointment. I called around until I got a hold of the ladies at CCP and not only did they have the flu shot for adults in stock, but they also had the flu shot for children! They were very nice, professional, and most importantly kind to my kids. My 6 year old daughter says she only wants her shots administered at CCP from now on. Heads up small dog owners....Creative Compound can fill prescriptions in liquid form so one can be sure doggie gets all the medication. Better than pills to administer. Creative Compound can Flavor medicine! My dogs will gladly take their peanut butter flavored meds. The staff is very aware of side effects specific to animals. They are professional, friendly and caring. Super genuine people-a rare find. You can have the vet fax prescriptions there and they get it done! read more

After having a bad expierence at a company that specializes in making whole foods for dogs and compounding supplements, I set out to find a place that could compound my dogs supplements that way I had someplace else to turn to. I called up Creative Compounding Pharmacy and spoke with Denise, the Owner and Pharmacist. I explained my situation and she didn't hesitiate to help me out even though it was my first time speaking with her. She went above and beyond helping me and researching all the ingredients that I would need to make my dogs meal balanced. I was shocked when Denise sent me a detailed email about how much each supplement would cost, when she could have it by, how to break it down (measurement wise) and alternatives to some of the items that were going to be challenging to get. This place is THE reason to support small business. Yes, many medications are the same wherever you purchase but Denise and staff go beyond what the pharmacies inside grocery stores, etc are willing to do. I had trouble getting a refill on a medication I desperatly needed and Denise got on the phone to correct the issue I was having with the prescribing Dr. She even called me back later to let me know the situation was resolved.
