Every time I go to CVS it is understaffed and there are huge lines. today I was there at 7 PM. There must've been 20 people in line to check out and one cashier. I asked for the manager and I said "do you see a problem here?" and manager says " no I have no idea about any problem " and I said "how about the long line why don't you hire more people to staff the store to increase your customer satisfaction? " I said it was unacceptable and he just shook his head and smiled at me. I miss the Rite Aid stores. The service was better. CVS is cheap on investing in the proper labor. Before waiting in line for checkout with the cashier, I tried the automated checkout. I was actually trying to give CVS more business, and I had more purchases than would fit on their tiny little automated checkout counter. The cheap paper bags fell on the floor and broke so I said " I don't want all of these things. I just have to buy one medical supply for my daughter" that put me in the 20 line purgatory behind all the people. All the manager could say is why don't you use our automated checkout? I tried to explain to him why the automated checkout did not work mind you I have a computer science degree this is not user error. This is incompetence understaffing, and no understanding of customer satisfaction. read more

Awful experience. Filled my script with GoodRX last month, this time around they let me know on a Saturday that they can't do that per the unwritten rules of this specific CVS pharmacy location & that it'd need to be transferred in order to do that, which of course can't be done on a Saturday. If only they'd mentioned that when I asked them to apply the code vis message yesterday or when they used the code to fill it last month. CVS really does a spectacular job of making medication less accessible this country. Why are they even still in business? Overpriced, awful service. I don't even know why I've been getting my medication here for the past 20 years but I surely will never set foot in any CVS ever again. read more

Tony the "manager" was very rude to Oleg as well as the other team member who was on break. Oleg and the other team member who was on break was only trying to help. Tony was rude and disrespectful to Oleg in front of customers, as well as demeaning. He even walked away and shrugged his shoulders saying "whatever" - my pregnant wife, the other guy in line, and Oleg looked shocked. I spoke up to Tony and said in no way shape or form did Oleg do any thing wrong (as Tony was assuming and accusing him) - I apologized to Oleg and my wife asked that we please leave asap as Tony's attitude seemed to not have a care in the world other than a power trip. We give this pharmacy a lot of business and Tony was an embarrassment even at a management level such as his own. read more

Went in today to do a return on an item I had bought yesterday in their store. I had my receipt on my phone and previously when I've done a return, they just ask for the card that I paid with and they look it up. The cashier (he was very kind) told me that their policy changed and that they cannot return it without my physical receipt in hand, so I asked to speak with the manager. When the manager came up, he was very nice and allowed me to do it with the receipt that was on my phone. When he brought me over to the register to have the cashier do it, one of the other coworkers who was an older short woman with blonde hair started yelling at the manager in front of me and several other customers who were waiting in line. I can only imagine how the manager was feeling as I felt so embarrassed for him. She was telling him that her coworker will not do the transaction and that he, as the manager, will do it so that they don't get in trouble. She continued, raising her voice and saying several other things loudly for all to hear, including saying that I as the customer will just come back and do the same thing again and then looked over at me and said her behind you (I was standing behind the manager). Although I definitely understand her concern, the way she handled the situation was not appropriate towards her manager and towards the customer. No one should ever be speaking to another person and embarrassing them like that in front of people, let alone speaking like that to their manager. Seems like there's a lot of confusion going on and this team could definitely use some TLC/training! Best of luck to the manager here and hope things get better for you! read more

Photo quality for prints is garbage. I printed a 5x7 high quality photo at their photo lab. I didn't think they would be worse than a home printer but I was very mistaken. The image quality is grainy and pixelated, and no the original image does not have these issues. Not with $3 for the photo. read more

This CVS has no sympathy. I understand business hours but when I'm reading a sign that says closed from 11:30-12 for lunch at 11:29 turning 11:30 you think they'd make ONE exception for someone in pain especially when it takes about 2 mins. I told them I was picking up antibiotics and live 20 mins away I can't just wait around I'm in pain. The woman turning me away had no sympathy and a rude tone. I will be advising ALL my friends and family in the area to just go somewhere else. Also they mixed my medical cream all wrong a bit ago but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. 7 years of business I gave them In the trash. Do better. read more

This is hands down the best CVS location. The makeup section is pretty large, lots of selections. On top of that, Tim and Judy are just so wonderful! Who knew shopping at cvs could be a fun time! I really enjoyed chatting with them and the customer service was 10/10! I love when I meet kind people, it just makes life better! They're so positive and have the best personalities! Highly recommend this location and hopefully you'll run into them as well! read more

Incompetence at it's best. 10 mins to them avtually is 45 and then they only gave me 2/3 things I had. If you consistently want to have your prescriptions not filled on time and get multiple confusing texts that say your prescription is ready when it's not and say your MD hasn't called in a refill when he has and then just say "oops" every friggin time then this is the place. read more

Today right before 4 pm there was the RUDEST blond girl working in the cosmetics section. I went to the coupon box to print up my coupons and noticed her self importantly stalking around. I stood there looking at my coupons and I heard a very RUDE voice say "Are you DONE"? I turned around and there she was standing right behind me. I said "Oh sorry" and moved aside. My next encounter with her occurred about 15 minutes later when she said "Do you need some help" I said "No thank you" and she snapped back and said in RUDE and OBNOXIOUS tone of voice "Not YOU. I already asked you if you needed help and you said "no", I was talking THEM". She then dramatically pointed to an elderly couple a few feet away from me. Well sorry lady but I don't remember you ever asking me if I needed any help. Aside from that, why in the holy hellz are you so flipping RUDE to customers? I heard you talking to that elderly couple and you were just as rude saying "Well you are in the wrong section". What happened to the heavy set guy who used to work in the cosmetics section? He was a DOLL. He pointed me to an eyeliner that he uses on stage and it's da BOMB. Bring him back please!!! I would rather chew my own arm off than ask this witch for help. I have been going here for almost a year now because it's really close to where I live. I have always received great service until a few weeks ago when I came in around 9:00 PM. The store is undergoing a major renovation and reorganization. The wall is even empty. so I don't know where everything is. I am looking for a 24K gold mask which I showed to the cashier through the mobile app and it clearly says that the branch has it. At that time she was the only one on the floor so I really have no choice. Ahead of me is a white woman who recently moved to Newport Beach and the cashier I forgot her name and the receipt I got is very unreadable but her name is spelled with "ied" or "eid". She has a very uncommon name and God I wish I remembered. Anyhow, she was very friendly to the white woman, she was like "How do you like it here?" but when she got to me, she got very salty and hesitant to help me. It felt like she was dragging her feett to show me where the item I needed is. In the end I was able to find it and even thank her but was weirded out with how she treated me. Due to the corona virus there's new ppl working now at this location for the pharmacy. Ariel from the pharmacy is so helpful. This is her usual location and if she can't find the product she can inform us where to show the prescription can be found from the doctors. Thank you Ariel for knowing what to do. Thank you for not hanging up on patients. Ariel, you come back and I would change this to 5 stars. The pharmacy workers right now do not know how to give someone the appropriate inhaler. People need to breath appropriately. At least care. Don't talk over clients that are trying to explain how to input information as they've learned before from previous new workers. Experience please. I wish I could put no stars. Thomas on night shift literally just screamed at me on the phone . I have called multiple times this week to make sure my doctors called in my refill and advocate for myself. I spoke with staff today and had it handled to pick up this evening they even encouraged me to come at night night . I call to let night staff I will be on my way shortly and Thomas starts yelling at me and says he's pushing my meds back another 2 days when they were supposed to be filled the 22 now pushing to the 27. They were called in again today to be picked up at midnight so I have them for work tomorrow and he went on screaming at me he won't fill it and hung up on me. I'm appalled someone is allowed to work in health care and treat someone like that . I've never had someone scream at me like that for simply asking about picking up my medication. I hope something gets done about this . read more

i am a cvs regular here at this location and i love it! i don't love it just because of all of the fun assortment of things they have there, but because of the (particularly) overnight crew :) (i usually only shop at cvs at the oddest hours..2am-4:30, 5ish...Craig (forgive me if i'm wrong ‍) is the nicest guy and always greets me and sometimes we chitchat depending on how busy he is or how long of a trip i'm intending on being there.. the woman that works overnights is just as awesome (and again, i feel foolish that i'm spacing on what her name is ‍‍‍) But anyways, what i am trying to say here Is that i sure got lucky to have this particular CVS as my neighborhood store! And I will continue to go shopping there at weird hours of the night to shop and chit chat with the overnight staff as long as I live across the street! thank you for being awesome guys! read more

Juriel is a phenomenal asset. Having worked in customer service for almost 20yrs, I appreciate the heck out of someone who is genuinely engaged with and cares about the clientele. Every time I come in he's constantly on top of it, always asking if there's anything he can do to help me or anyone else. You can tell the difference between an obligatory "can I help you" and someone who has it in their character as an individual to want to legitimately be there to assist you. Dude, it's just a CVS, I know....but "the way you anything is the way you do everything," and the way you go about your everyday business says everything about a person. Getting CVS to sell you medications is like getting a job. They seem ultimately intent on not selling you anything.
