We are incredibly happy with the work Johnny and his team at Creative Floors did in our new home. Initially, we reached out to Creative Floors to install pre-purchased engineered hardwood on our second floor. From our first communication, Johnny was quick to respond and very informative. He promptly scheduled an appointment for in-home measurement and our estimate which Adam attended. Adam was very kind and informative. During the appointment, I raised interest in potentially replacing our basement carpets with LVP. He explained the quality of flooring that we should be looking for and offered to show us samples he had with him. We were very impressed with the quality and price point of the LVP, so we also received a quote for product + install of our basement. Adam also helped us figure out transition pieces and vent covers for the upstairs project since we could not order an exact match from the floor store we bought the Engineered Hardwood from. Johnny promptly provided us with a quote that was very clear and reasonable. He was able to send a crew to our house on our requested date to begin both projects. The crew arrived every day on time, stayed late, and worked very efficiently. Everyone that came through the house was very kind and respectful. I wanted to put hardwood floors throughout my entire 1st floor of my townhouse. After doing a lot of research, it became apparent to me that finding a quality installer is of the utmost importance. That's because if something goes wrong, it can really go wrong very badly. I got 3 estimates from some highly rated installers that appeared that they wouldn't break the bank. One came in higher, and two were lower and about the same. Creative Floor was one of them. I decided to choose them because Johnny was such a pleasure to work with in every way. He was very patient and walked me through the process. Creative Floor is primarily an installer, but they have the flooring too if you choose to buy from them. Johnny gave me absolutely no pressure to buy from him, but again after some research, he had high quality flooring at very competitive prices, so I ended up buying from him. Well, now it was time for the installation. It was about as flawless as I could have hoped for. My floors are absolutely beautiful! I choose Mirage solid oak hardwood. I am so thankful for Creative Floors!! My house is 21 years old and the hardwood floors needed to be refinished so badly. I had been putting it off for so long thinking that it would be too much for us to afford. I wanted my husband to refinish them himself to save us some money but he said it is a very difficult job that requires skill with the machines. So, he called a few places to get some quotes. Well, Creative Floors got back to us very quickly and Johnny came out and gave us the estimate. I was very pleased that it was so reasonable!! We had another place scheduled for a quote but they cancelled and tried to reschedule. We decided to just go with Creative Floors and I am glad we did. They were able to fit us in very quickly. They came on a Monday and their team worked the whole day and my floors looked like new by the end of the day! We just had to have the final varnish coats done the next day. I did have one small imperfection that I noticed later. I called Johnny and he was so great and wanted to handle it right away. Leo came out that night and fixed it for us! After seeing the wonderful recommendations from others to contact Creative Floors for our hardwood flooring installation we did. Johnny came out and assessed our flooring wishes and recommended his expertise. The installers Marian and Paul were fantastic to work with. We had quite a multiple of different flooring to work on. Original oak flooring in our kitchen required to be sanded, re-stained, and blended in with the other rooms on the first floor level. Carpeting was removed on the first floor level and installed raw oak flooring. Our foyer tile was taken out and installed raw oak flooring. Marian and Paul stained all the flooring to match. It was perfect! Always Marian and Paul made sure we liked what was being worked on to meet with our satisfaction. Took off carpeting on the stairs and upstairs hallway. All stained and poly to all match. That is not an easy thing to do. These guys were professionals. They even moved our furniture and put the furniture all back where it belonged. Johnny, Marian and Paul were so easy to work with and experienced to handle multiple flooring issues. We will definitely call Creative Floors with any flooring projects in the future and will recommend them to our neighbors and friends. read more

I had A very well-known flooring ( think 1-800-) you know the song. ) company come out to install vinyl planking. Once they got there and took up the carpeting and said they were not able to install it due to the cracks and unlevel floor. This was after waiting weeks for the install. Frantic I went online and happened to find creative floors. I called and spoke with Johnny the owner within 30 minutes he came out I said I suppose I have to wait weeks again for my floor he said no I'll have them in for you tomorrow. He measured and I went to his show room picked out Flooring that I really loved and he beat that other huge company by a long shot in price considering he also had to fix my floor. True to his word they were there first thing in the morning and were able to level and fix the floors and install that day They did a beautiful job and my floor is absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for a company that is quick, efficient, extremely reasonable in price and easy to get a hold of and accommodating trust me this is your company, look no more! Professional, timely, and cooperative. Johnny's a professional salesman who understood our desires, and was timely with his communication. He was personable and cooperative with us when we needed to change our materials due to supply chain issues became difficult. He took the time to patiently help us pick out the materials we desired. The CF team was amazing. They were punctual and patient when I forgot to give them a way into my house.They did quality work and were quick due to having a large team. The kitchen needed new trim due to the preivous tile being much higher off the subfloor. They installed new trim and csme back next day and cared about the job being done correctly. They forgot to put my stove back in the kitchen, but sent a team to care of it very quickly, and no qualms or issues. We had LVP and new carpet installed, and they sanded and stained the tops of our stairs I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again when I finish my basement. Moving into the area into our first home has been stressful, but Creative Floors made this change much easier. read more

We purchased flooring through a showroom, but the showroom's recommended installers gave us quotes that seemed excessively high. We decided to check on Yelp and found Creative Floors. Johnny responded promptly to our inquiry and came out within a few days to give us a quote. When it came time to do the work, Johnny's crew did quick work! We were very surprised with how quickly and cleanly the demolition was completed, and then how quickly the flooring was installed. We ran into a snafu when we were *1 TILE SHORT* in our 3 seasons room (can you believe it?!), but Johnny came up with a quick solution for us using some scraps they cut from other tiles and you truly can't even tell unless you are REALLY looking for it. We hired Creative Floors to refinish the "golden" oak floors and staircase in a town home we recently purchased in Willow Springs. Johnny showed up on time to look at the project and quickly followed up with an estimate. We had two other bids and Creative Floors was competitive. They worked us into their schedule quickly, showed up on time each day and worked diligently to complete the work on time, on budget and with very high quality. They custom mixed several colors of stain so that we could get the exact color that we wanted (we ended up with 50% mix of dark walnut and 50% jacobean colors) So at that point, we decided to use them to replace the carpeting upstairs and in the finished basement. They were competitive with Home Depot but with Home Depot, you never know who they will send out to do the installation and I would rather support the local small business. I don't write many reviews & usually dislike doing them, however I thought this experience was great. Redoing a bunch of items in my house, among them floors. We went out for bids to 3 different contractors, 1 which came back almost twice as expensive, and the other who showed up an hour late for the bid -- and then never formally submitted a bid. Johnny (owner) on the other hand was right on time for the meeting, had a quote over in 2 hours, and started work on Christmas Eve .... christmas eve. Had the whole project done, including installing vinyl floors in my basement 3 days later ... including Christmas in between. All for the price of the first quote just to refinish JUST the floors on the main floor (not basement vinyl project) from another contractor. On top of that, he recommended another contractor who will be doing my kitchen renovation. All in all 6 out of 5 stars. read more

I wish there were more stars because I cannot say enough GREAT things about Creative Floors, Johnny Sas, and his crew! After a terrible leak in my master bedroom and being ghosted from the mitigation company after they tore it all apart Creative Floors literally saved the day! Johnny called me back within 30 min. He initially came out to refinish and updated the stairs because they needed to be re carpeted. Not realizing he also did carpet, he sat with me and had great samples with him. The stairs were updated with wrought iron spindles and re surfaced before the carpet was laid. I told Johnny, the foyer was now my favorite room ;)!! He ended up doing carpet throughout the house. We had very expensive hardwood floor installed by a different vendor and during construction the electricians and a few contractors damaged our BRAND new flooring by dropping tools and moving heavy trolleys on the brand new floor. in addition, furniture delivery damaged a different room while unpacking sofas. no vendor was willing to fix our brand new flooring and we heard about Johnny and creative flooring. they were our SAVIORS. they fixed all the damages back to original new floor at a very very very inexpensive way. You know how it is nowadays, Contractors are so busy they behave like they don't need your work, and often they don't show up for appointments and ghost you when you try to follow-up. What a breath of fresh air Creative Flooring is! This is the company you want to use for your flooring work. They were terrific from providing an estimate all the way through job completion. Johnny provided the estimate which was very reasonable compared to other estimates I received. He mobilized a crew the very same week to carry out the floor refinishing work while we were travelling out-of-town. The crew was very courteous, cooperative, and professional. I worked with Creative floors to have our entire first floor redone with hardwood floors. They ripped out the existing hardwood, ceramic tile and carpeting. Timing of the project was pretty close to what was estimated. Johnny stopped by on several occasions to check on the progress and to see if we had any questions. We had some severe settling/level issues to deal with. In a couple locations our subfloors would transition up to 1.5 inches. Johnny worked with his crew to address the issue and provide the best options for getting the new flooring as level as possible. We also had them install all new baseboards which really finished off the great new look. I would definitely recommend Creative Floors. Here we go again. We had Creative Floors help us out with the shower tiles and they came out great. We had hired Creative Floors in the past to install our hardwood flooring, sand and refinish them and as expected they did an amazing job. Since that job turned out amazing the renovations carried on towards the bathrooms. And as you know, once you find a great contractor you stick with them. Jonny and Creative Floors delivered again, as expected. The tiles came out great, the glass partition was installed exactly how we envisioned it and just like last time the crew was professional. We hired Johhny to refinish the floors throughout our house. He came right away to meet us, look at the house and give us an estimate. He was very detailed and pointed out many things are had not even thought about the floors. He helped us decide on the types of thresholds between rooms and the color of the stain. When we decided to move forward he was able to work with our schedule to start the work. The team came and completed the job very quickly and made it really easy on us. After it was done Johnny came by the next day to get a final look for himself, I think this shows he is a true artist and takes pride in his work.
