After his attendance at KinderCare he is so much more explorative with foods, follows directions in a group a little better and was prepared for this years start at the elementary school pre-school. Often times I would drop him off and cry in my car (happy tears) after seeing the other children cooperate in a 10 minute program Ms. Bertha had for my son, where the class would dim the lights for him and everyone would remain quiet upon his arrival playing classical music until my son was calm enough to join the group (i was told this was usually no more than 10 minutes & I saw it myself, the other children were happy to do so). This melted my heart. Many kids would approach him and say "hi, I love you, it's ok" when I would walk him into class. The directors and teachers here were more than willing to not only comfort my son but teach the other students the importance of inclusion & kindness to those with special needs. These kids were so nice to mine! My son is nonverbal so it was very sweet to hear everyone's little voices of encouragement toward him. I was very sad to have to leave this location I wish he could attend there forever they were so great!!!! I'm a single mother that works non stop, the price I feel is fair being my daughter gets an education on top of a summer school programs they also feed her breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day. My daughter is biracial and they make her feel super included. There's also other biracial children that go there, that was one of my worries, was finding something that she would feel included in with and they have done a great job at that. Her learning has gone up tremendously. She only In preschool but she knows how to count. She knows all her ABCs and she's starting to learn how to read. They do summer school activities as well and they have entertainers come in and entertain the kids during summer school once a week, which is great. They also offer other programs like dance and gymnastics, which i have decided to to enroll my daughter in as well, they also have an app in which you can log into once your kid is enrolled and you can check on them throughout the day. The teacher can update you daily/ hourly. These updates are to let you know how your kid is doing throughout the day, which me being a single mom really I really appreciate that. The security there is top notch, they have cameras everywhere inside and outside the building. You have to enter gate and then you have to go through a coded door in which each parent gets there own personal code. There's always somebody at the front so if anybody that doesn't have a code tries to come in they're grilled and I really appreciate that. They don't mess around when it comes to the safety of the children there. All around this is a very good school and I am really satisfied and happy with enrolling my daughter here.

Leaving was one of the hardest decisions we've ever made, and we only did so because we recently transitioned our daughter to preschool. It truly felt like leaving a piece of our heart behind. We began with Miss Lauryn at her PB location and loved her so much that we followed her through her relocation to Santee -- even though it's far from our home. That alone speaks to the depth of our trust in her. Her Santee facility is beautiful, clean, safe, thoughtfully designed, and located in a wonderful neighborhood. Our daughter became her very first student there, and we couldn't have been happier. From day one, Miss Lauryn created the safest, warmest, most nurturing environment a parent could ever hope for. Our daughter had only ever been cared for at home by a nanny, so the idea of sending her somewhere outside our home felt intimidating at first -- but she made the transition seamless. Her program is the perfect bridge between in-home care and a true school setting: loving, personal, and homey, yet structured with curriculum, routines, and so many opportunities for social and developmental growth. Our daughter absolutely THRIVED with her. She grew into an expressive, confident, funny, kind little girl with such a big personality, and Miss Lauryn and her wonderful assistants were a huge part of that. She is attentive, patient, loving, and genuinely treats each child as if they were her own. Her communication with parents is absolutely exceptional. She uses the ClassDojo app and posts photos and updates every day, so you always feel connected and reassured. She is incredibly responsive, understanding, and communicative -- which is especially comforting if you're a more cautious or anxious parent (like we were in the beginning). You truly feel informed, included, and at ease at all times. On top of all of that, her hours are amazing -- better than nearly anything else we found -- and she provides all food, snacks, and lunches, which is such a huge help for busy families. And her rates are extremely fair and competitive for the level of care, communication, and structure she provides. It truly doesn't get better than this. Which was so nice. My daughter had her special "buddy" when she was a seal and I really loved it. The turn over also seems pretty low, which is nice. Lots of sweet energetic women, older granny types, and everything in between. Also, I've noticed if a teacher is out for vacation or whatever, they have a great cast of "floating" caregivers who sub in, but aren't strangers. When ever my daughter moved classes (she has been in three now) she struggled for about a week - but came to love her new class. They do sweet activities- even with the little ones and I know she is very happy! They call me whenever something is going on with her, give me reports of her day, and inform me if had an "ouch." If you are the type of parent that wants cameras in the room and an app with updates, they don't offer that. But it hasn't stopped me from really liking this daycare. It's not as "flashy" as some of the other places I've toured, but it has lots of warmth and sweet teachers.
