This place has the potential to be wonderful, except that they are understaffed and undertrained - the blind leading the blind. After waiting 20 minutes for one smoothie, I watched the lady put the wrong kind of milk in and had to point it out to her. Yes, they remade it, but that took another 10 minutes. So 30 minutes of our day on one $8 smoothie. People literally got served entrees with cooked meat before I received my smoothie. There were only five people in the whole place when we walked in, so it's not as if it was crazy. All people after us received food before us. Ridiculously bad service. Would not go back. Don't go if you don't have some time to kill. With that said, it's too bad, cause the smoothie was good. read more

What a super place. The go to spot for vegetarian food on the island. We stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon 30 minutes before closing and they we totally welcoming. We had a pesto portobello sandwich on rye and a tempete Rueben on rye with a side salad and their excellent raspberry vinaigrette. Both delicious and very filling. What a delight to find this little cafe! The tofu scramble was incredibly fresh and flavorful. My husband also highly recommends the breakfast wrap. They offer original juice and smoothie recipes too - the st. Augustine Stinger with hot pepper was outstanding! Friendly staff, cozy funky interior with cookbooks to browse while sipping delious local brew coffee. Prices are reasonable. We just ate here and loved everything about it. He makes some of his own gluten-free bread which was delicious. I had a chicken pesto quesadilla that was excellent. Food was very clean and fresh. the foods good, but for a 30 dollar meal for 2 it was completely not worth it. it took 45 minutes to get our food, while people that came in after us got their food faster than us. we were greeted with a rude cashier, that didn't bother asking us any of their standard questions (gluten free, size, etc) and we ordered to go, and got food on a plate (not a big deal, but with the time delay and the rudeness it certainly didn't make me happy) never coming here again- even if the food is tasty. read more

A family of 5 come in 5 minutes after I already ordered and received 3 breakfast dishes, 2 drinks while I'm still waiting for one smoothie. Smh. Such a shame. I really wanted to like this place. It's very small but I was the 2nd customer in at the time so they weren't busy. And I've read reviews commenting on the friendliness... guess I came in on the wrong day (Friday). Atmosphere is nice but is ruined by the quality of the service. The only bright spot in this glaring issue was the girl with the headscarf. Everyone else was curt and unpleasant. LOVE it here. Everything's made to order, if you're feeling like you want something that tastes unhealthy get the Reuben or one of their panini thangs they're bomb.
