Taste the Love

Shoutout to our local community heroes!!! I am so impressed by the masterpieces French bakers make. French pastries are both beautifully crafted and undeniably delicious! I can understand why people would want to travel to France to be immersed into this Foodie paradise. And now that we are blessed with this venue it's like we have a little piece of that Foodie dream here in St Augustine. Calm vibe, great food, amazing service ... it's a win! Yes, it's definitely worth a stop and sip !!!

Tucked into a small shopping center with vale shop - plenty of parking. Store front fresh and welcoming. Flowers on each table is a nice touch! Visual cases means you want to try them all ... although not cheap - but paying for quality. Food was absolutely wonderful. Filled with flavor and fresh. Owner on site and working alongside staff. Definitely a great option to explore!

The Pistachio Eclair is better than any eclair I had in France as a child , whatever your mode of transport, get in here straight away!!!!

French Pastry

Stopped at this French cafe while traveling to St Augustine and I'm glad I did. The Lavazza espresso was really good, not bitter as it's too often the case. The French pastry, religieuse, was delicious. I didn't have one for a long time so it was pleasant surprise. Service was great too.

Ambience

Oh my. I've only had the chocolate bignet while I wait for my sandwich, Le Normandie. Between that soft little bignet and the atmosphere, I'm already sold! What a beautiful little place! Parking is very limited but that's okay at 11 on a Thursday morning. Don't wait - come here soon!

There's always something new to explore, and Myth & Legend did not disappoint. It was actually recommended to us by another restaurant we were visiting, and we're so glad we stopped in. Their menu features one of the most creative selections of handcrafted coffees and matcha drinks I've ever seen. I ordered the peanut butter cold foam coffee topped with freeze-dried strawberries, and it tasted exactly like a PB&J sandwich in the best possible way. It was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was welcoming, the drinks were thoughtfully crafted, and you can tell a lot of creativity goes into everything they do. If you're visiting St. Augustine and looking for something different from the typical coffee shop experience, I highly recommend stopping by and giving Myth & Legend a try.

It's the kind of place that feels cozy but also open and airy at the same time. The coffee was delicious and well made. I originally wanted to try their heated cheddar bagel, but unfortunately their oven was broken that day. Even so, I decided to try it untoasted and it still tasted great! The flavor was really good and it paired nicely with the coffee. Overall, it's a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a drink, especially with all that natural light coming through the windows. I'd definitely come back again--hopefully next time when the oven is working so I can try that cheddar bagel toasted!

Daughter ordered a salted caramel latte but didn't like it. Said it was too bitter, not sweet enough & couldn't taste the salt or caramel.

First, the coffee. Absolutely spot on. A beautiful brew and exactly the kind of thing you want in your hand when you're starting a day of exploring the oldest city in the country. The lattes were excellent, the people were nice, and the coffee was doing all the heavy lifting it was supposed to do. Now, the building itself is part of the experience. It's an antique shack that looks like it may have been standing there since someone first decided Florida needed a coffee shop. Quaint, quirky, and definitely not your typical Starbucks-in-a-strip-mall experience. The business can be a little confusing because they offer coffee specialties, but also beer and wine. So depending on what time of day you visit, you can either caffeinate yourself for an adventure or sit back and let the day take a slightly different turn. Here's the move: order your coffee, walk outside, and grab a seat. Across the street, you've got a view of the river. A great cup of coffee, a historic setting, and water views while you wake up? That's a pretty tough way to start the day. Five stars. This is exactly the kind of unique, slightly quirky, locally flavored place that makes exploring St. Augustine fun.
