I absolutely adore this Creative Kids location. If you are looking for a school with excellent organization, impeccable cleanliness and staff that will actually LOVE your babies the n look no further. We have been attending creative kids since 2018 and I can honestly say it makes me sad that next year all of our kids will have outgrown them. Luckily they offer a summer camp for the big kids and child care during winter break! Also if you want a tour definitely make sure you get with Miss Rachel. All of the staff is incredible, but let me tell you my kid will not leave the school if she hasn't said bye to Rachel and gotten her daily sticker. Plus the price is great! Our kid LOVES coming to this location! The entire staff is incredibly friendly, food is provided for the kids, and there is camera access. The teachers in the toddler room are phenomenal! Ms. Brenda and Ms. Lainey are so awesome and engaging with the kids, and I know that they've had a huge part in helping our kid become as social and talkative as he is. My son has been going to Creative Kids for almost 2 years. We have had a fantastic experience with CK! The staff was caring and attentive, creating a safe and nurturing environment for my son. I have withdrawn my kids from this school since October. They wanted me to use their auto-pay system. However, they overdrawn from my account since October. "According to their policy", they haven't refunded my money. And now it is December already. All they have told me is that my refund is processing , and I have to wait for one more week. I have been patiently waiting for months. Their front desk said that it's because I used auto-pay, that's why my refund takes longer without any guilt. Once I was late for the weekly payment for one day because the auto-pay wasn't going through, they charged me $30 late fee with judgment. My kid goes there everyday, it's not like I don't pay them. I wonder if " According to my policy " how much I should charge them for being late refunded. Hopefully, I can get someone attention and get my refund soon! read more

My daughter has been coming here for about 5 years or so. Every summer she's here doing fun activities, going on field trips. She has the best summers because of this place! During the pandemic when the school was online, she was able to come here with her laptop and do school from here so I can work! They provide healthy, yummy food for your child as well! The playgrounds here are safe and fun and they usually do water activities in the summer. There's always permission slips for each trip they go on along with items to bring and the addresses. They go to so many fun places I'm jealous lol All the ladies here are amazing, funny, kind, caring and helpful. The only thing that upsets me is that she only has two more years here because the age limit is 12. I wish she could always come here in the summer. I always feel that my daughter is safe when I drop her off here, no doubt in my mind that she's in good hands. read more

First time parents for our son, and many voices of "unsolicited advice" as to why he shouldn't go during a pandemic, he's too young, he will get sick...thankfully our pediatrician is the only voice that matters and he was 100% in support of our son attending. The staff here is excellent with care, promptness, cleanliness and kindness. Rosaly is the director and she is like the fairy godmother. Her bubbly pleasant demeanor is always consistent and she kept insisting "Call as much as you want to check up in him, really!" That offer was so comforting, along with her plethora of knowledge and patience for our 2 million questions. Love creative kids. My kids have attended two locations. Pebble and Torrey Pines. My daughter loved attending here. She's been attending since 18 months and she's now 3 years old. From Ms Brenda in room 1, to Ms Elyse in Room 8. My little girl, is excited to come to school, running to the front door. She comes home telling me about shapes, colors, and her friends. The curriculum is planned, concise and consistent. The sand area is so unique and the playgrounds are very updated and clean. I love how they decorate the school for holidays to celebrate all cultures. I've always been proud that they hang the artwork of the kids up all over the classroom. My daughter feels excited to show her work off every week. The front desk people are always helping me with questions, lost jackets, and I love that they're so smiley/friendly. Rachel at the front has to be one of my favorite people. She's called me and fixed my account when I've changed my schedule last minute. I could have been having the worst day and she will crack a joke and make me smile. I've made donations to the school and Rachel's gone out her way to thank me and show me where the items went. This review is solely directed at this location, as my family is much happier with Torrey Pines (our 1st choice) since transferring our 2 year old son there. I don't review much but our experience was so awful it would be a disservice to not inform families considering enrolling their kids here. The level of communication is extremely poor, the overall front office vibe is drab, and most of the staff is in serious need of improving the way they interact with parents. Their rudeness and overall lackadaisical demeanor was unlike anything we'd experienced in a professional setting, especially one catered to children. When my wife or I would drop/pick up our son, Ms. Rachel was usually eating in front of a computer, barely greeting us or other parents. Her and Ms. Natasha would get annoyed when we would ask standard questions or if an occasional ask required a bit more effort than the bare minimum, a clear indicator they did not want to be there. When inquiring about our son's class pictures (after paying over a month back), no one cared to look into it. Below are just a few examples of other rude/unprofessional encounters my wife and I experienced. Before our son's 1st day, we were encouraged to meet his teacher, Ms. Brenda. It seemed like a good idea as it was going to be our son's 1st time in a social/class setting and we wanted to ensure we were prepared. The meeting was scheduled by Ms. Rachel, however, it seemed she didn't communicate this to Ms. Brenda and the result was a highly awkward 1st meeting. Ms. Brenda barely spoke and had no interest in getting to know us or anything about our son. It was a very short, one way conversation which was odd as you'd think talking to parents about their child's 1st day (and 1st experience in school), would be a given. There was an incident in which I was talking to Ms. Rachel at the front desk and next to her, on the ground, was a little boy kicking and screaming/crying incessantly. I kept looking at Ms. Rachel, wondering when she was going to try consoling the child. As the boy continued, I realized she could truly care less, rarely even looking over at him while he cried his eyes out. You would assume their protocol would include a much higher level of care in a scenario like this, at least in front of other parents. In hindsight, this red flag foreshadowed a consistent, nonchalant attitude towards the children in their care and their parents. Ms. Rachel made multiple comments referring to our son as a special needs child. We never mentioned this to her. Furthermore, nothing remotely close to that was mentioned in our son's initial paperwork, as he has not received that diagnosis from any healthcare professional. To make insensitive statements as if she was confirming facts was not only uncalled for but outside of her professional realm. She casually mentioned her own son being special needs, persistently trying to put the same label on our son. Very strange and unprofessional. Our son's written assessment included mainly negative remarks without context, examples, etc. When we asked to discuss this, we were told to work with the front desk to set up a parent-teacher conference. Time went by and we never got a conference despite following up several times. They claimed to have called me but I never received a voicemail. They deflected blame onto each other. Ms. Brenda said the front desk manages her schedule and therefore decides who could cover for her to meet with us. However, Ms. Rachel claimed Ms. Brenda said there was no need for us to meet. All we wanted was a quick chat to discuss our son's progress and they simply would not let it happen, despite promoting parent teacher conferences as part of their curriculum. We made several requests for increased diaper checking as our son experienced numerous rashes there. We watched the livestream to see how long it took them to check his diaper. There were days his diaper wasn't checked/changed in over 2 of the 4 hours he was there. On one occasion that my wife voiced this concern, Ms. Natasha nearly scolded her, stating their teachers have too many students to be checking diapers every hour. Her hostility towards a basic, sanitary-related request was uncalled for, as if she was personally offended by the ask. We figured if we contacted the principal, Ms. Rosalyn, she would intervene. We messaged her directly on the app, and surprisingly, she never replied. Weeks went by and my wife would notice her once in awhile, tucked away in a separate office. The one time my wife saw her out in the hallway, she gave a fake smile and quickly scurried back into her office before my wife could attempt to talk to her about the ignored email. Apparently, replying to emails is not part of her job description. Hopefully, some people will see this and avoid a similar, low-tier experience. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews. Please replace these people for the sake of our children and the parents that rely on quality childcare. read more

Creative kids has been a lifesaver for our family! If you are looking for a childcare provider that not only cares for your children but also teaches them ....you have found the place! Our daughter, now 6 is at the top of her first grade class . She attended Pre-K at CK with Ms Letty. We are enrolling her for after school childcare next week because CK provides a safe an interactive place where she can do her homework and have fun ! Love the bus ! Our son who is 3 1/2 has been attending CK for over two years now! I love that they listen to parents with empathy and compassion and are always searching for ways to connect for each child's needs. The director Is AMAZING! The front staff is always friendly and welcoming even when busy ! The stars of the show are all the amazing staff they have! As a busy working mom I love getting pictures of my son and updates about what he's learning so we can talk about it when we pickup! We had a visit today, and the front desk person gave us 10-min tour. She seemed very impatient and always wanted to go back her phone. She never spend more than 2 sentences to answer our questions, even I felt like a lot of questions could be detailed explained. At last, she gave us an EYE ROLL when she heard my 2.5 years old doesn't understand English yet, since we only speak Chinese at home. I will not let my child to risk in this racist environment. Two of my children, ages 3 years and 22 months attend this school. They thoroughly enjoy going every morning. My children have had previous child care and this school is by far the best we have experienced. The staff is wonderful and really enjoys building relationships with each of the children. My youngest is well taken care off. There are mornings when he has separation anxiety and doesn't want me to leave but the staff ensures he is comforted until he is calm and ready to play with the others. We can watch the cameras throughout the day and see him playing with the toys and other children. This school has helped him open up and overcome his shyness. My 3 year old has so much fun during the day. She cannot wait to go in the mornings. When we pick her up she's always smiling and can't wait to tell us about her day. She has so made so many friends and really loves her teachers. Every time we drive my the school in the evenings or on weekends she proudly yells, "That's my school!" As working parents we can feel like we miss out on so much with our children during the day. We really enjoy the pictures and videos shared with us throughout the day through their app. It makes us feel like we don't miss those special or fun moments of our children. We also have direct communication with the staff if there is a need for it. Every day they have a lesson plan and the kids learn so much. My favorite is the sign language they have learned, and it has helped communication at home tremendously. Im not the type of person to write reviews but after my experience here i feel that i should to help parents who are still deciding if they should take their child here. We decided to take our 17 month old daughter because it was closer to our house. Also the fact that they had a camera available for parents to access anytime was one of the reason we decided to move her from her previous day care that did not have the camera access. On her first day the teacher was surprised as she was not aware that she was going to have a new student that day. As the day went on me and my husband were watching her pretty closely through the cam as it was her first day and wanted to see how she was adjusting.She cried here and there, she played with toys and joined activities. We liked that we got updates for her pee and bm consistently. What frustrated us is the lack of attention she got from the staff. We expected her to get a little more attention since she was new but we saw her being ignored by teachers. She would cry for a while and no comfort or attention given to her. We understand that they have to be fair but we expected at-least a little bit of attention since she was her first day. After day care she was Absolutely tired and worn out from crying majority of the day. During nap time they would be placed in their beds and she would just cry but eventually fell asleep from overly tired. Second day was the same. No attention or comfort. Also saw from camera a teacher using same wipe to wipe 3 kids face/nose. Same wipe. Emailed them and brought it to their attention giving time frame so they could look back at the footage. I got an email back that they would look into it but never got a response. She got sick on day 3 so we decided to give her a break and not to take her for the rest of the week. Come Monday, her 3rd day we saw she was still struggling .Crying and throwing tantrums. Nap time she was placed in the bed crying and still no comfort from staff,. Tuesday, also the day we decided this place was not for her. We saw her crying, on the floor and staff just walking pass her without any acknowledgement or comfort. She would follow one of the teachers while crying and this teacher would just ignore her and just talk to other staff as if she was invincible.. this went on for about 2-3 hrs. I was literal tears while watching. We could not stand for her to be there any longer so we decided to pick her up early and to never bring her here again. We felt like the teachers did not enjoy their job or liked being there. We thought having the camera access would give us ease yet it gave us anxiety by seeing her struggle and be handled the way they did. She is now back at her previous day care, much happier and cleaner when picked up. read more

We are very lucky to find Creative Kids. We were so nervous but the staff has been amazing. Ms. Brenda was patient when my son was 2. Ms. Teandrea was kind when my son was 3 and 4. And Ms. Jodi is a Godsend who has taught my son so much. Through the years they have been patient and kind with my entire family. I recommend this company and campus every chance I get. We took a tour and thought the place was nice and staff seemed friendly. Dropped off the application paperwork and was told I would get a call back and never did. I called a few times to follow up and was told several times again I would get a call back. It's been 3 weeks now and still no call back. My child has an IEP with the school district so maybe they aren't interested in considering any child identified with a "special need", or just don't care about parents trying to obtain child care for the summer. read more

My son has been going to Creative Kids this year and I can't express how much I love this daycare. I've had bad experiences with other daycares but I love this daycare. The director is amazing, thorough and caring. The staff and teachers are wonderful. The teachers and staff are constantly giving us updates on our son and everything that goes on within the school. I watch the teachers on the cameras and I see how caring they are with the children. They have a full curriculum and teach the children constantly. My son comes home teaching me everything he's learned at the school. The teachers and staff are constantly cleaning which makes me feel good as a mom to know that he's in a clean environment. I can't say enough good things about this daycare. My child has been enrolled with Creative kids for 3 years. My other child has participated in the summer program I still remember when I first came in as a new mom. Creative Kids was one of the potential daycares on my list. Their no-nonsense attitude immediately won me over. I walked out after my first appointment knowing my child would be in good hands and have never looked back. Sure my kid falls or maybe gets his feelings hurt by another kid/ or wakes up grumpy from a nap, but I see he's happy. Even I enjoy coming to have a brief chat with the staff! You all are great! I have learned kids will be kids. When I pick him up his friends all gather around him for a hug and to say goodbye. Such a sweet moment! The teachers can be found playing games with the kids, performing science experiments, you name it. My kid is now ready for kindergarten. He can write his name, recognize early sight words, recite his alphabet, count and do basic math. He has learned so much! Both my daughters have gone here. Currently my youngest is attending. She is so happy to go to school everyday she is learning so much and potty training and making friends. The pros of this center are · Very attractive rates for the half and full day programs · Absolutely amazing staff · Ample parking space and a not so busy zone, drop off and pickup is a breeze · Includes almost near to real-time update of your kids daily activities · Kids rooms are big and spacious · lots of wide-open play areas for all ages they cater to It was the time for our 2nd kid to start with daycare and there was only one choice because we had done the hunting last time. I can not begin to express how GREAT this Creative Kids is!! Not just as a company but this specific location! When deciding to take my child to daycare I was worried with all the negativity I heard surrounding daycares but literally the entire staff and facility here is AMAZING!! After 2 years I definitely think of them all as EXTENDED FAMILY and I know for a fact my child does as well! I never thought in a million years that I could have ever found such an amazing groups of individuals that not just look after but in fact help raise, teach, mold and sculpt my child all while truly LOVING and CARING about what they do and who they do it for. I cannot express how grateful I am for this daycare. I was desperately in need of one and had a crunch time to find my two boys a day care. Not only did they help me, but it was a smooth process to get them enrolled and in. I was very skeptical as this was my boys first time going to a day care but after a couple of days, the boys looked forward to going everyday. They had a lot to say at the end of every day of what they did for the day. I am grateful they enjoyed their time there. But let me specifically talk about the genuine care they have for their kids and parents really. One of my boys has a health condition that they were very willing to learn and watch for any symptoms or if he was having any issues. He was also on a very strict diet that I would get calls or messages if they were not sure on anything to make sure he could have it. I got calls whenever they felt he was not right and that truly made me at ease while at work to know they were looking out for him and when he was not well. They take every situation into account and really do their best to make sure you are well taken care of. I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. I have been sending my daughter here fron when she was 15 months old, and till she turned 3. I have seen this place go downhill slowly but surely. They have some amazing teachers kike Ms. Brenda and Ms. Cassie, but the reat of the staff keeps changing. My concerns however are more with the director and somw of the fro by desk staff, and the curriculum. The information given by the director is always always always different from what others give you. When you mention that, the staff takes liberty to be rude and read rules from the handbook. The billing always needs adjustment, which they take several weeks to do, and still miss things. My daughter keeps getting moved from one class to the other all day. Besides, everytime that i check the cam, all kids are just playing by themselves, so this place is good if you are looking for a baby sitter, but not a pre-school. To top off, I had withdrawn my daughter temporarily, and contacted them when i was ready to send her back again (not because i like this place, just because she had friends here). I have been waiting to get a spot for even 3 days (any 3 days) for the last 3.5 months!!! Every time i call, they tell me they will call me but never do. One front desk person even told me my daughter's name was not even on the waitlist! This was after the director told me my daughter should get a spot next week. As of now, my calls are not being answered. Strangely, they picked my call immediately when i used my husband's phone instead. Happened twice! Yes, they are intentionally not picking my phones just because i wanted to know if they have a spot for my daughter. They don't care about feedback or parents because they apparentky have a waitlist, so they will get that spot filled anyway. My daughter has been coming for the past year and 1/2. We absolutely love it and can't say enough amazing things about Ms. Alexis and Ms. Robin. They are constantly working on different things in class. And have been doing cool activities for the summer so far. Thank for you taking care of our "baby". We have such a great peace of mind knowing the school is safe and her teachers are taking good care of her. She loves coming to school. And even learned to write her name. I know she will miss it when she starts Kinder in the Fall. It is a little on the pricier side but after looking at 2 other day cares that were cheaper, we decided to continue with Creative Kids. The communication between the school and parents is nonexistent. My daughter was passed between 2-4 classrooms daily, the school was constantly losing her personal belongings, and the incredibly condescending assistant director would then accuse me of not sending her to school with the proper supplies. Having my toddler consistently "nap" on someone else's sheets with a mystery blanket while her belongings (including the comfort animal that she uses to fall asleep) is NOT okay. This place is disorganized to say the least - I didn't even feel that my daughter was safe at this establishment, let alone cared for. read more

Cannot say enough good things about the experience we've had here. My now 5 year old son started last year in Pre-K with Ms. Danisha and she is AMAZING! Genuinely cares about her students, gets to know the parents, and is an educator above all of that. My son started kindergarten this year and is set up for success, and we miss Ms. Danisha already. Ms. Seneca is also awesome, and we loved Ms. Melinda before she changed rooms mid year. He also took a Spanish class weekly that he enjoyed and learned in. He did so well that we started my 2 year old in February in the toddler room. She had the normal jitters about going and they comforted her and made her feel at home. I'm always blown away by the things she's learned and knows. I LOVE that they consistently post pictures and updates in their app as well. She's changed to the Twos room this year and we're excited to be working with Ms. Elyse and Ms. Lizet. I'm glad that we get to spend several more years at this school as a family and have a place to send my son during breaks as well. We drive out of our way quite a bit because we love this center so much. The teachers are awesome, administrators are awesome, just cannot say enough good things. 10/10 recommend. read more

My 3-year-old first started to attend this school/daycare in 2020. All seemed to be well up until about three months ago. My child would be upset upon picking her up from Creative Kids, I asked her what was making her sad there, and she told me that one of the teachers in her class was calling her a name. I will not state what she was called, but it was highly inappropriate and demeaning. The next day I approached the front desk to explain the situation and was quickly told it was not a teacher that called the name, a teacher wouldn't do that, and it was most likely another child in the class. As I went into the class to pick up my child right after this conversation with the front desk, the teacher in her class waved goodbye to my child and called her the exact inappropriate name right in front of me. I went directly to the assistant director to express my anger and concerns over this. The assistant director explained she would speak with the said teacher. I voiced my concern about retaliation due to my reporting of the incident. I was told no retaliation would occur, and the assistant director assured me she would watch out for it. Immediately after this happened, I was called to the school daily to pick up my child, who was being "out of control," per their statements. She (along with three other kids who didn't get in trouble) refused to take a nap and instead wanted to play with dolls. Creative Kids deemed this as lousy behavior enough to have me leave my job to send her home. In one of the daily pictures, I noticed that all the kids in the class received ice creams. My child was the only one without one. I brought this issue up and was told my child was not sitting, so she didn't get one. This is hard to believe that in a class of 20-25 3-year-olds, my child was the only one not listening, and all the other kids were and got ice cream. After this, I was called every day to come to pick her up because she was "not listening," Let me add I was paying $289.00 a week to leave my job to come to pick up my child almost daily in the morning...so I was paying this daycare a lot of money for me to come to get her and do their job of watching her so I can work. The last straw was when I got called for the 10th time in one month.. my three-year-old told me the teacher pinched her, and my older daughter told me she witnessed this particular teacher pinching kids when she attended this school. I am disgusted with the staff at Creative Kids. They protect their abusive teachers and create such a toxic environment for my child in hopes of having me pull her out (As I did) or create events to try to have her kicked out in retaliation is horrific. read more

My husband and I were really impressed and excited to enroll our child here after doing the tour. We were even more excited when we learned that there was no waitlist for when we wanted to start, as all the other preschools in the area had waitlists. NOW I SEE WHY. We met Rachel and she seemed real nice. She gave us a packet of enrollment paperwork and her contact card and was told to fill out the packet and when we were ready to enroll to give her a call and would could set up an appointment for enrollment. A couple days after the tour, I realized there were a couple questions I forgot to ask. I sent out an email with those questions to the email on the contact card. Gave it a few days and got no response. So i tried calling the phone number on the card, no answer. I called again and finally got through and when I spoke to Rachel, she had no idea about the email I sent. She said they were very busy planning their graduations at the time. I can understand that, so I proceeded to ask my questions including about vaccinations and if we should bring in her shot records at the enrollment appointment and any other paperwork to bring as no one had said anything and there were no further instructions on what was needed to enroll in the program. She told me yes and there was nothing further that was needed to bring. and we set up an appointment to sit down and get our child enrolled on June 10th at 9:15am about a week and a half out from that day. I thought it was strange she never asked my information or anything else for the appointment but i figured maybe she received the email and knew who I was. So the day of enrollment rolls around and my husband and I were very excited to get our child enrolled. My husband took off work and we had someone come and watch our child so that we would be ready for this enrollment appointment with Rachel. We show up to the location promptly at 9:15am. When we get there we were informed that Rachel was not there but would be in later that day. We were confused as this was a set appointment and had not received any communication that Rachel would not be available. There was a lady that said she was there to fill in for a bit from another location and said she could answer any questions we had about enrollment. She was very nice, but as we were asking about the final details of our enrollment like start date and their protocols at this location, she really did not have those answers as she did not work at that location. She also let us know that there was a wellness check they require that we have to take in to our child's doctor. This was never told to us at the tour or when I spoke to Rachel on the phone specifically asking about any other paperwork I would need to bring in. Being that this appointment was 2 weeks out, I definitely could have had that completed by the time of this appointment had I known about this requirement. I turned in the enrollment packet and told her there were a few sections I was not going to sign as there were blank spaces for the school to fill in as far as final tuition price and start date. She said that was fine and she would pass the paperwork to Rachel when she got in. She then proceeded to ask if we wanted to go ahead and pay the non refundable $145 registration fee. In my mind I could not believe they were asking me this. we never spoke to anyone, have no start date, our questions were not answered but they want us to pay a non refundable registration fee??! For what??! Absolutely not. I told her we would wait on that until we were able to confirm the final details of our enrollment. She said that was fine. Rachel would get back to us later that day to finalize everything. After walking out, my husband and I were very frustrated and disappointed. We understand that things come up and things happen but the lack of communication and the lack of respect for our time spoke volumes. and to make matters worse, we never received a call at all later in the day regarding our enrollment as promised. My husband and I decided to take this as a sign that this is not the place for us and we are glad we found out about how it seems they run things now and not after enrolling our child. Dodged a bullet for sure. Thankfully this area has many many preschools to choose from. I'm sure we will have no problem finding a school that better fits our requirements that include communication and respect for both the parents and child. read more

Needed a new childcare place for my son just until we got to august for his kindergarten and I'm so happy here. I attended creative kid's (an older Henderson location) as a child and I'm happy with how they have progresses he has learned so much in just a month I love it read more

We brought my son here after having a bad experience at a different school. We were astonished at how much nicer this school was than the last one, just even interior wise. Then we meet the teachers / staff and we knew this was a good place. My son used to leave his old school in a bad mood every day and now when I pick him up, he's always all smiles. He absolutely LOVES his teacher Ms. Diquisha and he talks about her often, even at home! I feel that my son is safe and very taken care of at this school. The whole staff is friendly and wonderful.. I love that I can login and see him on the camera at all times and that they do crafts and activities with him. He's been here about 6 months and we are so happy with the care he's gotten so far! read more

Very much enjoy this facility! It's safe and secure. There are plenty of activities for the kids and teachers are involved. The snacks and meals are healthy also. Best part, besides the staff, is the SproutAbout app so I can check on my child at any time. Highly recommend this location. read more
