I haven't been here since before Covid. But I was at Walgreens next door and decided to stop in for a last minute pedicure. First thing I noticed when I sat in the pedi chair was how janky it was. It was so uncomfortable. Imagine having a chair frame and then throwing some thin leather over it. That's what it felt like. I felt every part of the hard chair frame. And then when i turned the massager on, not only did it not work properly, the massager balls dug into my back so hard because as mentioned before , the leather was thin or something. There was no padding between the frame and the leather. The pedicure itself was uncomfortable as well. The lady scrubbed my feet with barely any softener or water on the little yellow scrubber. So she was pretty much scrubbing a dry foot. OUCH! She dug way too deep in the skin between my toenails! I could not wait for this thing to be over. And on top of that, she cut my toe nails way too short! This is what I get for not going to my normal place. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because they were really nice. In there. I'm new to the area and have tried a few salons and since this is closest to home I wanted to see how it was. I went twice but I knew the second time I should have just drove the distance to a better one. The nail polish was uneven because it was thick, I pointed it out and she said it was because of the wind drying it (front and back door were open ) her solution was put a top coat and it's all better. It in fact was not better. Then she asked if I wanted her to use the pumice stone so I said yes and she informed me it was $5 extra...she already started doing it as she is telling me kinda making me stuck with the up charge. I visited Creative Nails and Spa hoping for a relaxing day with my daughter and mother, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I will not be returning. The nail technician who assisted me was unprofessional and seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. The gel polish used was clearly old, leading to an uneven application with visible imperfections like chips and pebble-like substances embedded in the polish. Despite my attempts to point these issues out, the technician dismissed my concerns, claiming they would resolve after curing under the UV light, which they did not. Moreover, the technician's handling was rough; he jerked my hand around and continued to work in a manner that caused discomfort. At one point, he stopped my session to count money for an extended period and then failed to resume the service with basic hygiene until prompted. I literally had to tell him to wash his hands? After several attempts to rectify the situation with different polish colors, which all presented the same problem, I decided it was best to leave the service unfinished. He kept cutting me and was rude. Despite the poor service, no discount was offered, and I was charged $211. Even their payment system had issues as their Apple Pay was not working. This vibe was just off. And upon leaving I noticed everything is old here. Overall, I was highly disappointed with the service and treatment at Creative Nails and Spa. I hoped for a delightful experience but left feeling frustrated - no apologies, nothing. And all I wanted was a manicure and with a pink French tip with powder. Instead I got a half finished set with acrylic. (The girls who know, know). I recommend looking elsewhere for nail services. For service, I'd give a solid 4 stars. The lady who did my nails was skilled, if not super friendly, and was good to solicit and use feedback on my preferences. Prices seemed eminently reasonable. I paid $40 for a full set of acrylics with gel. As for the facility and COVID related practices, I was underwhelmed. They have lots of signs up *everywhere*, but other than wearing masks, everyone (including employees) seems to disregard them with impunity. While they *offer* hand sanitizer, I didn't see anyone use it, didn't see any nail polish bottles or equipment getting wiped down. The facility's fittings are unkempt. Nail polish all over bottles, racks, and station barriers. Chairs are worn. Towels, while clean, were stained. All-in-all, they did a good enough job with my nails, but for sure aren't going to set the world on fire with a "spa" experience. read more

This review is for my full voluminous lash extension with Diane as well as my first fill: So I bought the Groupon for the eyelash extensions back in February and called to make an appointment that same day. Diane answered the phone quickly and she got me in that week! I had my appointment on 2/13 and it lasted for less than an hour. Diane was really sweet in asking what I wanted and trying her best to give it to me. I have no eyelashes at all and she put the volume lashes on me and they turned out pretty good but they weren't as full as I wanted. Diane was really reassuring, asking if I liked them several times and explained it was difficult for her to fulfill the voluminous affect I wanted because the lack of natural lashes I had. No biggy, I appreciated her truthfulness and explanation. I stayed away from water for two day's like I was told to but I still experienced a lot of fall out within the first week. Primarily in the corners and ends of my lashes. This was really disappointing and ladies, we all know once they start falling out you look kind of unkept. Lol, after 2.5 weeks I needed a fill because of all the fallout. I called for an appointment the day prior and Diane was once again able to get me in right away. Unfortunately, when I arrived 10 minutes late she was running behind with another customer. I waited quite awhile before she got to me which was a little concerning considering I had an exam several hours later and I noted that to Diane when I booked the appointment. When she finally got me in the room I made sure I was gonna be done in time and she reassured me I would be out of there on time. In less than 45 minutes my fill was finished and my lashes looked bommmmb. This time she was able to make them fuller and I was so happy! She was really apologetic about the late appointment and even gave me $10 off! No doubt, Diane gives great customer service!! However, I did have some fallout later that day! What a bummer. I'm not sure if I'll go in for another fill because of quick fallout I continue having but if I do, I'll update this review! If you're looking to do extensions for a small amount of time then I would highly recommend Diane! read more

For this review I'm writing on behalf of my mom. She went to this salons for a pedicure, which she doesn't do often and wanted to treat herself. Her experience was poor and she left the salon needing to re-do her pedicure at home! The technician kept poking my moms toes/feel painfully with her own nails and the salon was not very clean especially in the nail drying area. The nail polish was bubbly, bumpy, uneven and it was just a bad job. No one offered to fix it and let her walk out paying 30$ for a poor nail job. I been there couple times and this place failed me every time. I made an apt before getting there. Amy rushed me because her other customer was waiting. She keeps telling me that I don't have time to do nail art, she repeated herself many times. Then I asked her why did you give me an apt? Her response was I know but I don't have a time. Diane is terrible doing lashes! . About 2 weeks ago I got my lashes done with her. It was my first time there and she started the process with out cleaning my lashes first or asking me what style of lashes I wanted. She rushed to get them done, the whole process only lasted 30 min. When she finished she asked me to hold the fan instead of her doing it. That's your job! since we pay you for a service. After she removed the tape and I opened my eyes, my eyes were tearing and hurting. I went home and when I saw my eyes in a closeup mirror, I noticed the horrible job she did, she ruin my real eyelashes. I texted her to informed her that I was very unhappy with her service and she offer me to go back the next day to fix them but since I had a bad experience I decided to go somewhere else and got them removed. read more

I always call ahead and make my appointments and I understand when the nail techs get busy however, I called at 1PM they said come at 2PM. I arrive at 2PM for a manicure, they said to come back at 4PM!! Diane use to run a organized and clean shop. The customer service has gone downhill. I had about $15 left to use on my gift card, I politely gave it to customer who was getting her nails done. I'm done and walked out... what happened to customer service!!!!! I visited this nail salon today (11/11/2020) for a pedicure and manicure. The lady (name unknown) was pleasant at first, asked how I was. I provided my own brand new bottle of nail polish that I wanted to use. While doing my pedicure, I noticed an air bubble in the paint, I pointed it out to the lady, she disregarded what I said at first and I had to repeat myself. After repeating myself, she attempted to pop the air bubble with cuticle cutters. This as you know, would leave an indent in which it did. She painted over it, I asked if she can re-do and repaint the whole nail. She proceeded to wipe the nail polish off with her finger and a square nail filer and painted over it. I asked if she can redo my nail completely, in which she finally complied. She proceeded to commence my manicure. When she was filing my nails she not cut me once but twice and said, "oh, oops". I noticed cotton on my finger nail and even more air bubbles, I brought this to her attention, she said, "relax, calm down, I make beautiful." She then painted over the troubled areas and the nail polish was very thick layered. I tried to express my concerns and every time I did, she would repeat herself. "It's okay, I make beautiful". I noticed the nail polish brush was old one with bite marks and she placed it down, put my nail polish brush back in the polish and handed it back. When I brought that to her attention, she started speaking to her co-worker. (I don't know what was said.) At this point I had enough and told her I wasn't satisfied and I had to leave, she said, "no, relax I finish, I make beautiful." I requested nail polish remover and removed the color. I got up and expressed that I wasn't satisfied and did not feel comfortable paying for my manicure. but I will gladly pay for the pedicure. I asked if we can work a price out because I was not happy with the service they said no I have to pay $15. I again repeated myself. They said it didn't matter if I had polish on or not I was to pay the $15 in full. I expressed to them that it wasn't about having polish on, it was about the poor service provided. They demanded I pay $15. My issue was not resolved, they did nothing to rectify the situation, not even a mere apology. I will NEVER do business here again. read more

You're better off buying nails at Walmart and gluing them on or have your spouse do them. I paid $96 they told my wife it was gonna be $86 then he had the audacity to get mad because i didn't tip them! The pictures speak for them selfs. A lot of these lash pics don't really do justice but I came in for lashes a friend recommended me Diane so I came to get them done took about an hr and I chose a volume set . I liked how she did them and received compliments on the lashes the only thing that is a red flag I would suggest being more professional when doing lashes , she didn't clean my lashes before doing them or put proper tape for my eyes so when my lashes were done they did get stuck a bit . I have sensitive eyes and the lash glue she used didn't seem to hurt my eyes if your picky person as well I wouldn't suggest getting them done here . Very reasonable price as well . read more

This is my second time here. The first time I had my nails done I loved the shape but wasn't in love with the way my nails where painted. I came in today because one of my acrylics had broke. They apologized (it wasn't their fault, I must have been rough with my nail) I was lucky enough to get in with mikael! He is truly amazing and is very passionate and takes pride in his work. I love Mylee! She's my go to person for beautiful gel polished nails. She cleans my nails in a way that allows the gel polish to last for 3 week with no chipping or lifting. Just time for you to get your nails done bc of the growth. She always does a great job on my pedicures too. Doesn't nip me and is gentle. Some other folks aren't as gentle. She also cut my sister with the drill and she told the lady that she cute her and the lady told her to go wash her hands. She used the acrylic brush on my sisters nails then my nails and put it in her drawer and didn't disinfect it. At the end of my service she decided she wanted to talk to me when it was time to pay. My 13yr sister went to pay for her service and the lady then tried to charge her $1 dollar extra then I asked her why and she said she didn't know. They after she decided to say because we were paying with card. Which it isn't posted on a sign or anything and not just that she manually typed the price in to the register. She then starts speaking in her language to another nail tech that does the register. I walked up to the lady that she was talking to and asked her why she was charging me extra. So the lady ringing finally put the right price in the register and we payed and left. I took my nails off last week and they used illegal acrylic liquid on my nails. Which left damage done to my nails. To make matters worse they have an infestation of ants everywhere. I also have infected nails too.I wish I could give zero stars honestly. read more

Started coming here a couple months ago because I had a groupon for eyelash extensions and have been coming back ever since. Diane, who is the manager of the spa. is an amazing lash technician. I typically wear glasses on a daily basis so upon arrival I firstly let her know that the lashes would have to fit to the depth of my glasses. I was going to Vegas and wanted to have full lashes that wouldn't hit my glasses and then split (which I have had happen before). Even with a quick glance, Diane got the length perfect! She is sweet and has even been able to work with my fluttering eyelids every time I come in. I have been doing my lash extensions now for about a year and a half now, and I think I finally found my girl with Diane. Her lashes always last at least 3 weeks, with good and proper care of course, and she's quite reasonable compared to many other salons out there. read more
