I called early in the morning and they were able to get me in at four on a Saturday which is AMAZING! When I got there I had to put down my name and phone number for contract tracing. All employees were masked. I had a pedicure and acrylics. I had a design which I showed them, and they happily did it! I am SO HAPPY with the outcome and will definitely be returning. read more

Really unhygienic, when I went to sit down, there were nail clippings on the table not cleaned off. The manicurist used UNCLEAN TOOLS and tools she had used on multiple people without cleaning them in between uses... The manicurist also was touching and counting money then going back to file my nails/clip cuticles etc. I had a pretty bad headache from the fumes too. Additionally, the manicurist was yanking my hands around, she could have just asked for me to place my hands in a certain way. Really disappointed, won't be going back... read more

I get several manicures and pedicures a month and I can tell you exactly how good or how bad one is. With my eyes closed. I came back to this location a second time because I the girl that did my nails last time did a pretty good job. So I thought I'd give them another chance. Today was a nightmare. Absolutely horrible pedicure. Just soak my feet in water and polish. The no chip manicure was the worst I've gotten in the last 10 years. She was rushing so much. Cut the side of my finger and the cuticles were never cleaned enough so the polish is basically sitting on top of my cuticles not nails. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt so I asked her to fix them all again because I wasn't happy. Her answer : just put oil and it will look nice. Horrible. read more

They move people through appointments quickly, but a bad experience still. They sat me in the pedicure chair and left me soaking for 20 minutes. When I finally got someone's attention to ask how to turn on the massage chair (my reason for coming) I was told it was broken. The fella said they have some that don't work. While they did offer to put me in a different one, I had come to spend time with my daughter, not sit at the opposite end of the salon. They should have had an out of order sign, not knowingly provided a subpar experience. I left without having my nails done. They also do not follow the order of people seated but work from one end of the row to the other. People seated after me were given service prior. $30 for a simple pedicure is higher than the normal rate for the area. Will not return. read more

I really like this place! I came in because they're open Sunday and take walk-ins. When I walked in, they told me they wouldn't have anyone until 1:30. I was upset until I realized that it was 1:10, and I would only be waiting 20 minutes. I needed time to pick a color anyway. I got a gel mani. I never got the name of who did it, but she was great. They didn't have the color I picked, but she suggested a great substitute. I pick at my nails, so I really need then to be perfect with no edges or I will tear them apart. She didn't flood the cuticles at all, so everything is smooth and I can tell it's going to last a long time. I left a ring on the table and when I came back she knew exactly what I was looking for and she had put it away for me. I'm guessing she would have called had I made an appointment and given them my phone number. The only thing is that they have no way to tip by credit, so bring cash. They were also extremely busy, every chair was filled. I'd definitely request her again, but I didn't get her name! read more

My friend and I had our nails done at 10am the day of prom ( three days ago ). We both got Mani's and Pedi's. The place was packed and we got there as soon as it opened. All of the staff members were friendly and were focused on getting people in and out. I already had a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like ( top picture ) and my stylist was very nice in explaining to me how shellac would cost more than regular. I was very satisfied with my nails! I was there for about an hour. The total cost for my nails was $80 while my friend who had acrylics was $50. I would highly recommend you scheduling a reservation since it seemed very crowded but otherwise I was very satisfied with my nails and the service. read more

There was no check in or greeting, just someone looking up from doing a manicure and checking his book for the appointment. This place has gone downhill. When the owners used to be present on a daily basis , it was much better. There are no Covid protocols in place anymore. Some of the staff aren't even wearing masks. Over the years, I have been to many, many nail salons in Rochester. Regardless of the fact that I've been getting my nails consistently done for the past 6 years, given my young age, I am frequently not treated with respect at nail salons. About 2 years ago, I decided to try out Creative Nails Too in the Village of Rochester Hills. I never ran into the problem of not being taken seriously, and they quickly came to recognize me. Now, this is THE ONLY place I get my nails done. I have gotten my nails done by just about everyone in the place, and they're all good at what they do. BRANDY is the absolute best. She is so knowledgeable about any and every question I have regarding my nails. She can do any shape, any design, and she is thorough. Also, the place is visually pleasing and always clean. I decided to give this place another chance because I couldn't get in at the place I normally go to. I have to give it to Creative Nails Too, they do a really nice job fitting people in and they're open until 9 pm which is pretty awesome. I got dip, which normally lasts 3-5 weeks, depending how fast your nails grow. Well after 5 days mine was peeling (and snagging my hair like gel does near its end) and debris was under my white nail polish. I called in to let them know what happened, and they told me to come in and they'd fix it (as they should after paying $45 for a manicure). When I came in they kept asking me who did my nails, where I sat, what the lady looked like etc. after many of these types of questions they started questioning whether I really got my nails done there and if I was at the right salon. I felt uncomfortable and as if I was lying to them to get my nails redone. As a new technician completed every step (Polish take off, filing, polish), the last technician informed me that they recently started using a new product (as in last week) and that it's possible the new product wasn't working as expected. You think?! Anyways got my nails redone and they look ok (I'd rate it 5 out of 10- due to dot imprints on all the nails) . I guess if I want my nails done I'll need to better schedule my other places. read more

I've been getting my nails done here for years. Even after I moved a half hour away I would drive to get my nails done at Creative Nails. However, my last experience there was so bad I will never step foot in this place again. Three days ago I went to get a gel manicure and was talked into getting dip because it would last longer. I didn't mind paying more for this upgrade because I'm nine months pregnant and figured this would be my last manicure before I deliver. Fast forward a couple days and two of my nails chipped off completely and the rest were partially lifted. I called to see when I could come and get them repaired and said I could come in any time. Since I'm so pregnant I wanted to come in at their slowest hour so I wouldn't have to wait. I was told to come at 2. When I got there, I had to wait 40 minutes. A nail tech had to rip off the rest of my dip which was super painful and damaging to my nails. Not once did anyone apologize for the poor manicure or the fact that I had to drive all the way back and wait 40 minutes to get my nails re-done. In fact, they charged me $25 for the repair. I think this kind of customer service is unacceptable, especially for someone like me who has given so much business over the years. I'm extremely disappointed. read more

I wanted to try this place because it was the only nail salon in the area open past 7:30. I went there at 7:50 and I walked in and no one even looks up or acknowledges my presence for at least a good 8 minutes. Then he tells me it would be about 20 min wait for a manicure. I said ok I'll wait. I go choose a color and I'm waiting. Around 8:18 the same person I interacted with earlier looks at me and is surprised to me and says "oh you're waiting I thought you said you were making an appointment for next week or something." (??!) I said "no no I'll just wait today". He literally shrugs and walks away!! Ok fine. I still wait because I NEED my nails done and I keep looking up at the clock and finally its 8:35 and I realize I have been waiting for my turn almost as long as it's taken my manicure to be complete at other places and I walk out. The most irritating part of this experience was that NO ONE bothered to even give me an update about how much longer it was going to be or even check in with me while I'm sitting there for almost 45 minutes!!! Just to make it clear, the place was pretty busy but the whole time I was there, I was the ONLY person not with a nail tech and there were about 8 nail techs! How am I to believe that no one was finished with their client in this whole time?! Maybe they work really slowly or they didn't want to take me. They could've even said sorry we're all doing gel polish changes so it will be a while; come back tomorrow. But no, I just sat there thinking ok now someone should be done; ok five more min and someone will surely finish... So, they may do a great job on nails (or not) but their customer service was seriously deficient. read more

This was not my greatest mani/pedi experience by far. First, it was not sanitary. The instruments were not clean (not sanitized between clients) and the tech coughed on me several times and did not cover his mouth. In addition, the tech cut my nail, causing me to bleed. When he noticed I was bleeding, he immediately submerged my foot into the water. The cuticle around my toe was sore for days. To top it off, my manicure only lasted for one week before it started fading and chipping. Other places I have gone lasted a month. Definitely not worth $43. read more
