I thought I found my new go to pedicure salon after my first visit, but I will never go back after my second visit. I arrived five minutes early for my appointment. When I checked in, I was told to go pick out a nail color for my pedicure. While looking at the colors, I picked up a couple bottles to compare the colors and a technician came over and said that they don't allow customers to touch the bottles of nail polish. This was my second time here and I've been to a few different salons and this is the first time I've been told that. The pedicure started 10 minutes late and the technician was rough and unfriendly. During the pedicure, she was aggressively picking at my cuticles with the trimmers leaving red spots around several toe nails for hours after my appointment. She was also rough with the filing, often catching other toes while filing the nail. During the leg and foot massage I continued to flinch and tense up but she did not change her pressure, instead telling me to relax. The following day I had a bruise on one shin and a line of soreness on the other. The nail polish on my toes turned out very nice, but the whole experience was unpleasant and left me sore and bruised. read more

BEST PEDICURE I'VE EVER HAD! I'm picky when it comes to who I let touch my feet/give me a pedicure after a bad experience I had a few years back, but I've heard rave things about Oasis and decided to give them a try. I called in yesterday to make a same day appointment for two and was told they were booked out but would call me with any availability or cancellations. An hour later, I got the call to come in thirty minutes later. When you walk in, you're immediately asked to wash your hands - which I liked. You then go to the polish station and pick your color, but aren't supposed to touch them - your pedicurist will. You're then taken back to one of their pedicure chairs, asked if you want water and get settled in. We got two luxury pedicures, which includes a hot oil massage, aromatherapy, hot towel wrap on calves, hot stones and more (for $44, which is only $7 more than my previous nail salon and I got a lot less there!). My tech took her time cleaning, filing, etc my toes and spent a good amount massaging my feet and calves... I was getting sleepy from feeling so relaxed especially when the chair was reclined back to zero gravity! Overall, extremely happy I decided to give Oasis Nail Spa a try and wish I had a lot sooner. My review 3 ago would be 5 stars but no longer is it a superior experience. What I have loved about Oasis is the cleanliness and peaceful vibe. But after 6 years of being a customer that is no longer going to keep me coming. I am starting to even wonder if the quietness of the staff might be due to the overbearing rulership of the owner, but nonetheless, the calm has been a plus. As to the leg and foot message, there is no place I have found that does it better. The zero gravity chair is over hyped because in the 6 years they are now worn and torn (chairs and remotes) - some chairs do not have functional message capability at all. Most of the staff have been great, I had a specific technician for years and though she left, I still patronized them because of the massage and the overall care they have taken when doing my mani-pedis. The technicians are not chatty with customers but a plus - they do not interact with each other or ignore customers while checking their social media. All in all - I say, give them a try for yourself. Because of the decline of furniture and lack of overall lack of connectivity with technicians - I will probably start going elsewhere - they are not cheap so I would like a little more caring and maintenance of the massage chairs to stay a customer. read more

I had an appointment for a pedicure, and they were very timely. When you walk in, the owner(?) meets you at the door, you wash your hands and then sit and wait. You aren't allowed to touch the polish to choose from, which I understand, but it's hard to see what the colors will look like on you. The girls/nail technicians are always working, it seemed that as soon as they finished with one client the owner directed them to the next immediately. I think pedicures must be their most popular service, as while I was there every single customer was getting one. I was sad to know my massage chair did not work. I was also surprised to find out, while checking out, that they do not accept tips from your credit/debit card. Only cash. I felt terrible so I ran to my bank and came back with a cash tip for my technician. I feel like that would be a nice bit of information to include on a sign somewhere. My actual pedicure was wonderful, besides some of my toe nails feeling brittle and chipping afterwards. I would come again! read more

We just moved here from Pittsburgh and had a wedding on Saturday to attend. My daughter and I both received gel shellac nail polish. Both of our nails chipped two days later. I'm a little perplexed by all the stellar reviews for this one. Maybe I came on an off day? I will say they were able to squeeze me in for a pedicure without a reservation, which was great. However, I felt my pedicure was rather painful... definitely not relaxing. And for the first 30 mins or so, there was no music so it was awkwardly dead silent in the whole salon. On the other hand, I did appreciate that they seemed to take some extra covid precautions, and the price was reasonable. I liked the way my polish turned out too, but wish my feet had stayed moisturized for more than ten minutes after I left the salon. Overall, not a great experience but it got the job done. read more

My gel manicure was starting to look a little rough, so I decided to get it soaked off so that I wouldn't ruin my nails doing it at home. I saw that this place had great reviews so I decided to try it since it's closer to me than my other nail place. I walked in and the receptionist just looked at me for a second before greeting me. She asked what she could do for me and I asked if I could get my gel nail polish removed. She goes "JUST a soak off??" and I said yes. She then glances down at her appointment book for one second and goes "yeah everyone's working right now" then a pause and then: "ok sooo thanks for coming in, have a good day." This morning, Sept. 29 I scheduled my appointment for this evening at 6:15pm at Oasis Nail & Spa in Rochester. I arrived at 6:03 and was in a pedicure chair with my feet soaking by 6:06. When entering I observed it was very welcoming and serene. My nail tech greeted me at the polishes and helped me to my chair. Asking me a few questions at the beginning and then allowing me to relax. She gave me a choice of a few essential oils to add to my water as well as Epson salt and some other ingredient! I chose lemon grass! She proceeded to take care of business with my toenails, feet and legs. Once she was finished grooming, she proceeded to use the controls of the chair to put the chair on its back with the feet of the chair up in the air. She began massaging my legs and feet with hot oil, hot stones and hot towels and then painting my toenails. It was so relaxing I dozed off!! She politely told me she was going to be lifting my chair and that I could sit where I was or go to the dryer! That was at 7:12pm! I paid $44 for the luxury pedicure and will go back to see Jennae every time! By far the most relaxing pedicure I've ever had!! Oh and there is a CRUMBL Cookie right next door!! read more

My friend and I went yesterday for pedicures. We have been 2 other times and loved it. My experience yesterday was awful. The massage chairs didn't work for myself and my friend. When I asked for assistance, the mail tech said that's just the way it is. I also asked the manager about the chairs not working and she just walked away. During the pedicure the nail techs were very unfriendly, laughing and whispering amongst themselves. It felt like we were being made fun of. When we went to pay I asked what kind of discount we would receive since we didn't receive the full experience. The manager said she is sick of people complaining about the chairs not working. She said maybe she will just get different chairs that don't massage so that she will not have to listen to customers complain. I was so disappointed in her response and lack of professionalism. No discount and no apology given. I have told many friends how much I liked this salon originally. No more!! My advice is spend a little more and go to Nordstrom Spa at Somerset Mall if you want a true spa experience. read more

I would HIGHLY recommend going here. I visited Oasis almost a month ago for a basic pedicure and my nail polish still looks the same today as it did when I walked out of the salon. I did not even get shellac. This is not a place where you're just in and out - the nail technicians here put so much work and effort into your service whether you are getting a basic service or a luxury package. They are polite but not overly friendly, but I didn't mind since it was so obvious they were focusing on the quality of their work. When they massage your feet they tip the chair back and massage for several minutes. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The foot baths are scented with essential oils. They put a lot of effort into keeping the place clean - every customer washes their hands upon arrival and customers are not allowed to touch the nail polish bottles. There is even a whole sanitation room in the back for their equipment. If you are paying with credit know that only VISA cards are accepted. I would bring cash just in case. read more

I went for a mani/pedi because my son's wedding is this weekend. I don't have time to write my entire experience but I was assigned to a young girl who didn't understand English very well. She didn't introduce herself either. Several other customers were offered a bottle of water by their technician but I wasn't. I wanted a pale pink polish. I even brought my own bottle to show them the color but didn't want it used because it was old. At one point, she picked it up to start putting it on my toes. They didn't have a pale pink in shellac and the one she brought over was more like the color of a pale pep to-bismal. Some other frustrating things happened relating to the problem in trying to communicate with her. I'm disappointed to say the least. Not an enjoyable experience or worth the $70 I paid. read more

Before going into the salon, my middle nail broke. I opted for short nails to match the size of the broken nail. Because I knew they would be short I chose a nude/ pearly pink as to not draw any attention to the shortness. The application is very even and there are no bumps. The tech was very nice and the salon was incredibly clean. She even put a lemon slice in the water which I've never experienced before. The price was what I usually pay for a gel manicure. My daughter just got a pedicure and shellac manicure at this salon. I referred her and am so embarrassed I did! Her shellac is just plain HORRIBLE!! As a business owner you should never have a client leave with the way her manicure was done, especially since the owner did her pedicure and manicure!!!! If you don't know how to do manicures, just run the business!!! The shellac is already lifting after 30 minutes!!! The shellac was put on over her cuticles!! You are supposed to trim the cuticles NOT cover them with polish! Edges are uneven. It looks like a child did them at a sleepover.
