We love Oasis! The owner Tina is super nice and my mom and I have been going to her nail salon for years. We love to get shellac manicures and regular pedicures and they are always impeccable. The salon is also extremely clean and the sanitation process is clear to the customers. They are popular and book up quick, so it's best to book in advance. Great pedicure by Vicki. Lots of colors to choose from and upgrade options available. I always do the basic pedicure and am happy ($35). The people that get the deluxe get super pampered. Chairs are a worn down, but it looks like they are working on reupholstering them. read more

Staff called to confirm-which I did-and then called one minute prior to appt to confirm I was going to be there. I was parking! Then did not present menu or options other than color. Guess I should be grateful. Staff was luke warm at best, won't be returning. Oh, and chair appears to have lost the war. Old and tattered, good calf workout when foot pedestal moves. read more

BEST PEDICURE I'VE EVER HAD! I'm picky when it comes to who I let touch my feet/give me a pedicure after a bad experience I had a few years back, but I've heard rave things about Oasis and decided to give them a try. I called in yesterday to make a same day appointment for two and was told they were booked out but would call me with any availability or cancellations. An hour later, I got the call to come in thirty minutes later. When you walk in, you're immediately asked to wash your hands - which I liked. You then go to the polish station and pick your color, but aren't supposed to touch them - your pedicurist will. You're then taken back to one of their pedicure chairs, asked if you want water and get settled in. We got two luxury pedicures, which includes a hot oil massage, aromatherapy, hot towel wrap on calves, hot stones and more (for $44, which is only $7 more than my previous nail salon and I got a lot less there!). My tech took her time cleaning, filing, etc my toes and spent a good amount massaging my feet and calves... I was getting sleepy from feeling so relaxed especially when the chair was reclined back to zero gravity! Overall, extremely happy I decided to give Oasis Nail Spa a try and wish I had a lot sooner. My review 3 ago would be 5 stars but no longer is it a superior experience. What I have loved about Oasis is the cleanliness and peaceful vibe. But after 6 years of being a customer that is no longer going to keep me coming. I am starting to even wonder if the quietness of the staff might be due to the overbearing rulership of the owner, but nonetheless, the calm has been a plus. As to the leg and foot message, there is no place I have found that does it better. The zero gravity chair is over hyped because in the 6 years they are now worn and torn (chairs and remotes) - some chairs do not have functional message capability at all. Most of the staff have been great, I had a specific technician for years and though she left, I still patronized them because of the massage and the overall care they have taken when doing my mani-pedis. The technicians are not chatty with customers but a plus - they do not interact with each other or ignore customers while checking their social media. All in all - I say, give them a try for yourself. Because of the decline of furniture and lack of overall lack of connectivity with technicians - I will probably start going elsewhere - they are not cheap so I would like a little more caring and maintenance of the massage chairs to stay a customer. read more

I had an appointment for a pedicure, and they were very timely. When you walk in, the owner(?) meets you at the door, you wash your hands and then sit and wait. You aren't allowed to touch the polish to choose from, which I understand, but it's hard to see what the colors will look like on you. The girls/nail technicians are always working, it seemed that as soon as they finished with one client the owner directed them to the next immediately. I think pedicures must be their most popular service, as while I was there every single customer was getting one. I was sad to know my massage chair did not work. I was also surprised to find out, while checking out, that they do not accept tips from your credit/debit card. Only cash. I felt terrible so I ran to my bank and came back with a cash tip for my technician. I feel like that would be a nice bit of information to include on a sign somewhere. My actual pedicure was wonderful, besides some of my toe nails feeling brittle and chipping afterwards. I would come again! read more

We just moved here from Pittsburgh and had a wedding on Saturday to attend. My daughter and I both received gel shellac nail polish. Both of our nails chipped two days later. Pros: Clean, professional, relaxing and price. Cons: Quality. (Very thin) I will say that even though the nail polish chipped off of my thumb. I'm a little perplexed by all the stellar reviews for this one. Maybe I came on an off day? I will say they were able to squeeze me in for a pedicure without a reservation, which was great. However, I felt my pedicure was rather painful... definitely not relaxing. And for the first 30 mins or so, there was no music so it was awkwardly dead silent in the whole salon. On the other hand, I did appreciate that they seemed to take some extra covid precautions, and the price was reasonable. I liked the way my polish turned out too, but wish my feet had stayed moisturized for more than ten minutes after I left the salon. Overall, not a great experience but it got the job done. read more

Hands down the best place for a pedicure. I promise you will either fall asleep or become completely zen like. Their zero gravity chairs are amazing but even better is the incredible foot and leg massage they give. Holy moly. I may just need to start getting weekly pedicures! Also this place is spotless clean. They are very bug in cleanliness and ensure you wash your hands when you enter and only staff can touch the nail polish. Awesome place. read more

this salon for a pedicure. Typically it's me my husband & son. It's a very relaxing time when we go. The nail salon is clean, the employee who greets you asks you to wash your hands then you pick out your color which they get so not everyone is touching the polish. Overall amazing place. read more

My friend and I went yesterday for pedicures. We have been 2 other times and loved it. My experience yesterday was awful. The massage chairs didn't work for myself and my friend. When I asked for assistance, the mail tech said that's just the way it is. I also asked the manager about the chairs not working and she just walked away. During the pedicure the nail techs were very unfriendly, laughing and whispering amongst themselves. It felt like we were being made fun of. When we went to pay I asked what kind of discount we would receive since we didn't receive the full experience. The manager said she is sick of people complaining about the chairs not working. She said maybe she will just get different chairs that don't massage so that she will not have to listen to customers complain. I was so disappointed in her response and lack of professionalism. No discount and no apology given. I have told many friends how much I liked this salon originally. No more!! My advice is spend a little more and go to Nordstrom Spa at Somerset Mall if you want a true spa experience. read more

My gel manicure was starting to look a little rough, so I decided to get it soaked off so that I wouldn't ruin my nails doing it at home. I saw that this place had great reviews so I decided to try it since it's closer to me than my other nail place. I walked in and the receptionist just looked at me for a second before greeting me. She asked what she could do for me and I asked if I could get my gel nail polish removed. She goes "JUST a soak off??" and I said yes. She then glances down at her appointment book for one second and goes "yeah everyone's working right now" then a pause and then: "ok sooo thanks for coming in, have a good day." I would have gladly waited, made an appointment, came in later...none of that was offered, she was basically shoving me out the door. I left and went to my typical nail salon who gladly took me and I tipped them well after dealing with this place. So rude. Sorry that my $10 soak off wasn't enough business... read more

This morning, Sept. 29 I scheduled my appointment for this evening at 6:15pm at Oasis Nail & Spa in Rochester. I arrived at 6:03 and was in a pedicure chair with my feet soaking by 6:06. When entering I observed it was very welcoming and serene. My nail tech greeted me at the polishes and helped me to my chair. Asking me a few questions at the beginning and then allowing me to relax. She gave me a choice of a few essential oils to add to my water as well as Epson salt and some other ingredient! I chose lemon grass! She proceeded to take care of business with my toenails, feet and legs. Once she was finished grooming, she proceeded to use the controls of the chair to put the chair on its back with the feet of the chair up in the air. She began massaging my legs and feet with hot oil, hot stones and hot towels and then painting my toenails. It was so relaxing I dozed off!! She politely told me she was going to be lifting my chair and that I could sit where I was or go to the dryer! That was at 7:12pm! I paid $44 for the luxury pedicure and will go back to see Jennae every time! By far the most relaxing pedicure I've ever had!! Oh and there is a CRUMBL Cookie right next door!! read more

I used to be a Mynt nails girl - owner and her husband were unpleasant - even though the girls that work there are wonderful. 20 minute leg and foot massage at Oasis, SUPER clean. I was apprehensive about finding a new salon - but grateful that my uncomfortable experience pushed me out of my comfort zone to find a better salon. Highly recommend. read more

I would HIGHLY recommend going here. I visited Oasis almost a month ago for a basic pedicure and my nail polish still looks the same today as it did when I walked out of the salon. I did not even get shellac. This is not a place where you're just in and out - the nail technicians here put so much work and effort into your service whether you are getting a basic service or a luxury package. They are polite but not overly friendly, but I didn't mind since it was so obvious they were focusing on the quality of their work. When they massage your feet they tip the chair back and massage for several minutes. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The foot baths are scented with essential oils. They put a lot of effort into keeping the place clean - every customer washes their hands upon arrival and customers are not allowed to touch the nail polish bottles. There is even a whole sanitation room in the back for their equipment. If you are paying with credit know that only VISA cards are accepted. I would bring cash just in case. read more

I went for a mani/pedi because my son's wedding is this weekend. I don't have time to write my entire experience but I was assigned to a young girl who didn't understand English very well. She didn't introduce herself either. Several other customers were offered a bottle of water by their technician but I wasn't. I wanted a pale pink polish. I even brought my own bottle to show them the color but didn't want it used because it was old. At one point, she picked it up to start putting it on my toes. They didn't have a pale pink in shellac and the one she brought over was more like the color of a pale pep to-bismal. Some other frustrating things happened relating to the problem in trying to communicate with her. I'm disappointed to say the least. Not an enjoyable experience or worth the $70 I paid. read more

Before going into the salon, my middle nail broke. I opted for short nails to match the size of the broken nail. Because I knew they would be short I chose a nude/ pearly pink as to not draw any attention to the shortness. The application is very even and there are no bumps. The tech was very nice and the salon was incredibly clean. She even put a lemon slice in the water which I've never experienced before. The price was what I usually pay for a gel manicure. If there is any lifting within the next two weeks I will update this review. read more

This place is an absolute gem! I have never been to a more clean, sanitized and relaxing nail salon. Hands down am so happy and impressed for the level of precautions that the owner takes to make this such a clean and wonderful space. Literally the hardest working manager/owner. If you walk in and don't have an appointment, she'll drop what she's doing to do your manicure herself! Great products they use as well. I live 30 minutes away and still make the drive to this salon. Can't recommend enough. read more

So as soon as you walk in they ask you to wash your hands and are you sit down and pick up the colors and you're not supposed to touch the colors due to the coronavirus but overall everyone is so friendly and they speak English which is most important and they do an amazing job on your nails and your toes I highly recommend this business and I will be coming back again to get my nails done read more

My daughter just got a pedicure and shellac manicure at this salon. I referred her and am so embarrassed I did! Her shellac is just plain HORRIBLE!! As a business owner you should never have a client leave with the way her manicure was done, especially since the owner did her pedicure and manicure!!!! If you don't know how to do manicures, just run the business!!! The shellac is already lifting after 30 minutes!!! The shellac was put on over her cuticles!! You are supposed to trim the cuticles NOT cover them with polish! Edges are uneven. It looks like a child did them at a sleepover. Don't understand all the positive reviews but this is the last time either of us will use this salon!! read more

Best nail salon EVER! Especially the pedicures. I have gone to many places for pedicures, and yet this one is by FAR the best quality of service for the price. I get the Luxury Pedicure option, and I come back for it every time! It's ~45 minutes of relaxation and plenty of time dedicated to massaging. Then, after you sit back and enjoy their foot/calf massage, they give you a hot stone massage as well. It's wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone I know! Super clean. Covid precautions very good. What I love most is how quiet it is in here-No TV's, no phones; the music was soft and relaxing. It's a nice quiet, calming hour without distractions. And! ...The seats recline so your feet are elevated during part of the treatment. read more

I have always wanted to know what was inside that building/house especially with that gorgeous curved front door. Passed it so many times on University. Parking was easy and nice to have designated parking spots for Bare Philosophy. Walked in and had no idea that you had to take your shoes off. I get for cleanliness sake and winter bringing water/salt, but I wasn't expecting it. I walked in and noticed another patron standing inside with her socks on so I followed suit. I didn't notice behind me that they provide slides to wear after you take off your shoes. There was no staff downstairs so no one to greet me or give instructions. There was a sign that said they were short staffed and to help yourself. It was the day before Christmas Eve. Really pretty inside and welcoming. Lots of areas to look at product. There was a coffee machine. Old historical charm throughout! The other client got brought back and I just was standing around. I finally heard someone in the foyer area and was checked in at that point and brought back to a large room for my eyebrow appointment. We spoke a bit about eyebrow shape and how she likes to keep things natural/follow your natural shape. Can always take off more later if I wanted. I think my eye wax was all of five minutes. Trimming, a few strips of waxing, and then tweezing and that's it. Let me have a look in the mirror and I was happy for the most part. I should've asked to trim my eyebrows a little more. But overall content with the shape. I wish there was something to put on my skin afterwards to calm it down since I get red easily. Again, the whole process was super quick, didn't feel overly personalized with an eye brow shaping/waxing but the job got done. The staff who did my brows was very nice and we made conversation throughout my service. I felt comfortable and no pain with the waxing/tweezing. Kali Rose is located centrally in Rochester but has super convenient parking (there is meter parking and a garage in the back and an entrance both in the front and back of the building, both of which are convenient).
