    Great property management company. I've been a tenant for almost 3 years and I have no complaints. The girls at the office always got back to me within a timely matter with any questions or concerns I've had with my unit. I would recommend this property management to any of my friends or family.

    I have rented from Creative property for quite a few years. And I must say that the level of caring,and service that I have received has been impeccable. They are very fast in the handling any maintenance request that I have submitted to them. The rent is very reasonable, and they have answered any question that I have had concerning anything within a reasonable, amount of time. The staff is wonderful, and friendly. they make you feel right at home. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a reasonable place to rent. It comes along with excellent service.     As a first time renter I don't think I could have asked for a better experience. They always picked up their phones or called me back quickly if I left a message. Very understanding people who addressed all of my concerns and issues, very flexible as well. Definitely recommend them for my family and friends.

    Water would gush in from above the window at the slightest hint of rain. Took CPM 6mo to fix.

    This review is also a response to the 1-star review by Arvand. I was one of the tenants involved…read more Cliffnotes: Sterling was excellent, Arvand: terrible businessman/human. There was one property, two units. Front unit: 4br, Back unit: 2br. Both newly renovated. I applied for the 2br with the intention of getting a roommate, since it was really expensive. I had the most professional lease-signing, walk-through and inspection I've ever experienced, all courtesy of Sterling Property Management. Could not have been happier with their service. Then the drama with Arvand started. Phase I: AFTER I had signed the lease, he tried to strong-arm Sterling into making me sign a different lease with a month-to-month instead of a 1-year term. I'm military, high credit score, zero foreclosures. So not only was this totally unreasonable (maybe he wanted my lease terms to be the match the 4br unit for simplicity?), but it was twice-illegal. I can only guess that Arvand flew off the handle in his totally aggressive and unprofessional way of doing business, because Sterling terminated their relationship with him, not the other way around. Phase II (has nothing to do with Sterling, but helps discredit the bad review): Since there were still workers onsite and I had 20 days compensated at the Navy Lodge, I was very straightforward: I did not mind waiting for the renovations to be completed before moving in. I was assured several times by Arvand and his mother, Massy, (who was managing the renovations?) that the unit was done. So I moved in. It was not done. It wasn't wired for cable, the windows didn't shut, there was no outlet for the dryer, and one of the bathrooms was unfinished. Even worse, Arvand's mother barged into the unit unannounced at all hours of the day. She was scatterbrained, and would task workers with things they'd already done, or didn't need to be done. Never remembered when we'd coordinated something and would show up several hours early and ring the bell 14 times. Not hyperbole. Complete mess. Also, pretty shady. She had Mexican workers sleeping overnight on the ground in the unfinished front unit (I'd bring them gatorade and snacks, I felt so bad for them and they were really sweet), people drilling and propping ladders up against my windows at all hours... it was mess. By the end of the month, after 20 days with no cable or trash service (apparently during the renovation, Arvand had violated the trash policy so bad that the city of Monterey placed a moratorium on trash services for both units), not to mention CONSTANT privacy and lease violations, I asked for $500 (20%) off the rent. It was an overpriced unit, the renovations prevented me from getting a roommate, and 20 days without trash, cable or wireless?? I think it was justified. Arvand's response: "no, but you can move out". Literally. So I sent him a lease termination form and moved out. This is my seventh apartment since the Academy: Arvand was by far the worst landlord: abrasive, arrogant, and sketchy. He treats tenants like crap, so I'm sure he's worse with PMs. Phase III: Sterling manages my current unit (downtown area) and they're fantastic. My oven broke and I've locked myself out twice (I guess I can be scatterbrained too): Sterling is always quick, responsive and professional. I'd recommend them to anyone. As far as the one-star reviewer goes: My old unit was next occupied by an adorable couple with a newborn; they moved out almost sooner than I did. Last I checked, both units are effectively frat houses.

If anyone is looking to purchase 400 Sonoma Ave. in seaside please be aware that this company did not even bother to get rid of the mice! This company disgusts me. Not once did I ever receive a call back or any communication from them in any way. They have zero cares for people. Also, the gas line in the kitchen and fan for the oven I believe are illegal and not up to code however they had zero problems renting it to the elderly. In response to the owners reply. The rent was $500 when you guys "took over the portfolio". You guys jacked the price up so high in such a short amount of time that it is absolutely in no way a reasonable price. If you deem it unrentable then no one should be paying $1,950 for it. That's absurd. I called a total of 5 times in the span of a month and left a voicemail every single time. I was never even once able to reach a live person. So check your messages and you will have all the record you need. You guys were 100% aware of the condition of the home. Not only did you demand tons of photos of the inside and outside of the home every 6ish Months but you also did several walk throughs inside and outside. Each time you guys deemed it rentable. That is not looking out for senior citizens that is abusing their inability to fend for themselves. Your company should be ashamed of themselves as well as the owner of this property.

    Absolutely unacceptable experience…read more Pacific Grove Rentals canceled my confirmed reservation twice, both times claiming a "pricing error." Not once, but twice. At that point, it stops feeling like a mistake and starts feeling like a complete disregard for customers and their travel plans. I had already invested time planning my trip and relied on the reservation being honored. Instead, I was left scrambling to find alternative accommodations while rates elsewhere had increased. A confirmation should mean something. Apparently, with Pacific Grove Rentals, it doesn't. What is most concerning is the lack of accountability. Rather than standing behind a confirmed booking and making the situation right, the reservation was simply canceled, leaving me to deal with the consequences. That is not how a reputable vacation rental company operates. The entire experience felt unprofessional, unreliable, and incredibly frustrating. If you value your vacation plans and don't want to risk having your reservation canceled after you've already made arrangements, I would strongly recommend booking with a different company. A company's true character is revealed when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, Pacific Grove Rentals failed that test completely.

I have also worked with better but that was through the military. I am not sure what renters are expecting, rent goes up every year, thats anywhere. Paramount raised the rent every year just about but never gouged us. They left proper notices before entering the home, answered inquiries if I had any, provided maintenance when needed and had a simple enough auto-pay system. Communication is key, I always made sure I communicated any issues or concerns. When I was able to buy a home I put in my notice, did the move out inspection. I didn't hire cleaners, I took time off work and cleaned and washed the carpets myself, we did small repairs but I know we left our mark in that rental we spent 24 hours in that house for almost 2 years just about. I did take my own pictures prior to move in and kept the original lease in file, documented the same when exiting and got about 40% of my deposit back (around 900). Frankly I think it was fair but if I didn't I have documentation to back it up. My suggestion to anyone is document, do the inspection and if you disagree go to court as it is your right but most importantly communicate and provide facts not opinions. Rental properties have rules, read the lease as it is a binding contract. Kind regards, CW

    Never will it have I recommend this company to anyone. 4 years renting from paramount properties…read moreand at 36 wks pregnant high risk I was forced to leave and coursed into signing legal documents without legal help on my end, paramount kept my 2k deposit and was not giving me a good recommendation to other renters and made me and my family homeless for a few months. I was a honest renter who always kept communication even when there was never any maintenance done and I was told I need to pay for certain repairs in the condo. Do not rent nor buy from paramount properties unprofessional greedy people who insulted me as a single mother personally mailing me letter putting me down as a single mother from Marie miller the owner. Shame on this company. -5 stars.
