While we had no issues during the process, shortly after the floor was sinking in multiple places. The contractor returned and placed a saddle in one area. Saddles were included in my contract (two separate contracts one for materials and one for labor), so we had paid for both even though they initially didn't use saddles. There was no refund given for the unused materials and work that was never done. They returned again to "lift" the kitchen subfloor. At this point they had to remove the new LVP, so they used our warranty to replace the flooring. The floor continues to sink in multiple areas. They suggested placing multiple saddles throughout my floor. They claimed the floor manufacturer said I needed them, so I don't know why I wasn't told or why it wasn't done during the initial installation. I asked when they open the floor and see the subfloor is unlevel would they do the honorable thing and return my money to me so I can have my floor repaired. I was told the subfloor is level and we are no longer discussing it. They hold no accountability. On top of all of this, they have photos of my home including personal information of where we live, personal details of our family and refuse to take it down. What customer ever wants this!? They have now blocked me on social media, and fail to communicate responsibly. All I would like is the money returned to me for the flooring that is now garbage because they have to take it apart to level underneath, the money paid to do the work that wasn't done correctly, reimbursement for what was paid out but never used. This is a major inconvenience to have to go through construction again. This has been dragged out too long, own up to your mistakes and Do the right thing. be warned and stay far away from this company.

From the beginning they responded quickly. Alena is who I worked with directly in terms of the design of our cabinetry .. she came to our home and was very friendly. She measured and double checked her measurements, suggested ideas and worked with me on what I was looking for- we went back and forth via email for a few different design options and was always quick to respond when I had a question or concern (which was often because I'm a worry wart) Has something ever seemed too good to be true so you are just waiting for the "bad news" to hit? That's how I felt- everything was going too smoothly- too easily and too right to be reality. I have delt with other companies and that's always my experience- if the start is great the product is terrible or the install- always a little something- but not here! Although we were apprehensive about this endeavor, it was time. A trusted colleague highly recommended Artista Kitchen Designs to help us transform our kitchen. We walked into Artista on a Saturday afternoon in April without an appointment. Mike, the owner, greeted us with a friendly smile and engaged us in a conversation about our project. He asked us to describe what we wanted in our kitchen and he attentively listened to our wish list. He walked us through the showroom to give us ideas about cabinet styles, colors and functionality. We immediately felt comfortable with Mike and set up a home visit to begin the design process. Mike sent us an email thanking us for stopping in, added links for us to look at kitchen redesigns for inspiration and confirmed our appointment for the following Saturday. Mike showed up to our house, on time, and took a few minutes to survey the kitchen that took him back to 1985. He asked how we managed to make it work with limited space. As he sketched and measured he assured us that the new kitchen would provide us with ample space to work and countertops for prepping. Two weeks after the visit, we were invited back to the showroom to review the proposed plans. The plans reflected EVERYTHING we had discussed. Without increasing the footprint of the kitchen, Mike designed a space that maximized flow and functionality and allowed for a perfect gathering spot in the heart of our home. He carefully walked us through the drawings, making sure we were in agreement with the new layout. Mike described the high quality of wood cabinets for the job and gave us a quick education about cabinet styles, hinges and trending features. He routinely said, "This is your kitchen and I want to get it right for you." Mike described the renovation process including; timelines for ordering materials, demolition, installation and wrap-up. He also provided us with a detailed list of contractors, vendors and supply services. Shopping for appliances, the sink and faucet and stone was a pleasure and everyone said, "Mike from Artista is incredible; you'll be so happy." We hired the contractor recommended by Mike. It was a great decision and we were so grateful for his workmanship and professionalism. Their partnership made this process seamless. Demolition began, as scheduled, on August 19 and three weeks later cabinets were delivered, as expected. Installation updates, coordination of deliveries and questions were communicated directly between the contractor, vendors and Mike giving us a strong sense of security and confidence in the people working on our kitchen renovation. Every person we worked with; contractors, electricians and plumbers were AMAZING and they treated our home like it was their own! Mike was beyond helpful when we struggled finding a countertop and backsplash. (In addition to kitchen design, Mike is a marriage counselor.) Mike personally helped us select the hardware to create a cohesive vibe for the new kitchen. He inspected each cabinet after installation and made a punch list of open items. His attention to detail is refreshing. Our kitchen transformation was completed October 30. It was delivered on time, on budget and surpassed our every expectation. As a designer, Mike carefully listened to our vision and put together a plan that fit the needs of our family. He steered us in the decision making process to stay on budget. Mike maintained an open line of communication, quickly responding to emails and texts, following-up and following through with every question, concern or request. The beginning process started off so great. Ian was knowledgeable and helpful and had a great show…read moreroom that showed us a bunch of options. We enjoyed working with him so much we also used him to source our appliances and quartz countertop and pulled the job from our other suppliers. Everything came in within a reasonable amount of time and the installation was ready to begin. The team came every day and on time, and they were about a 7 on the neatness scale. Everything was ready to be installed, and There is where the issues started. I had replaced an existing island with one that was much bigger and added a coffee bar with cabinets on one wall, and switched out the countertops and backsplash. The island went in first, and was installed not at all straight, they adjusted a few times and it still is slightly off, and the final answer I got was "your walls aren't straight so this is the best we can do". None of the cabinets are lined up properly still to this day, 9 months after the job was completed. The spacing between all cabinets are not consistent, the cabinets hit each other when being opened and closed. The double garbage track I believe needs to be totally replaced but was told "that's how the garbage cabinets come" The installation on the appliances were also terrible. I had to get a different contractor to come adjust my dishwasher, as I asked Ian's team 3x and it was not getting fixed. Ian's team never screwed the dishwasher into the cabinets so whenever it was opened and closed it would move. It was also not flush to the countertop. Ian has come back on 3 different occasions to try to align the cabinets and the last time he said "I have to call the manufacturer I'll get back to you" and haven't heard from him since, over a month ago. I am now looking into another cabinet company that will come and fix what was left here. I would feel comfortable ordering with Ian but never again use him for the installation.

We wanted them refinished in a new stain color. Multiple other contractors told us this would not be possible and were pushing us to just paint them, which we did not want to do, or even just replace them with new cabinets, which was out of budget. Bob came in and saved the day, making what we wanted to accomplish seem like no big deal and just another standard project for him! He worked with our budget, professionally stripping down all the cabinets and staining them a custom color he created for our vision.
