I am sharing my honest experience with Shadi Nails (owner: Shadi Norooz) because this salon violated multiple health and safety standards and caused serious damage to my nails. I walked in with healthy, strong nails that I had spent three years healing. Less than 24 hours after my manicure and pedicure, every nail was broken, peeling, splitting, and visibly destroyed. I have photos showing the damage, and I walked in with nails in perfect condition. I paid $418 in total. The owner originally agreed to issue a full refund because of how severe the damage was. Instead, she only processed a partial refund, ignored my multiple polite requests for the remaining $168, and then tried to make excuses. Now she is threatening me with an attorney for simply requesting the refund she promised. This experience was not only extremely expensive, but it set my nail health back by years. I also have a serious medical condition and cannot risk infections, unsanitary tools, or improper service. Based on the condition of my nails afterward and what I observed, I believe the salon violated basic health and safety standards. I am filing formal complaints with the appropriate agencies and will be posting photos of my nails so others can see exactly what happened. I wish this review were different, but I feel it is important for other customers to be aware of what I experienced so that no one else is put at risk or suffers the same damage. I was in the area and stopped by without an appointment. Fortunately the ladies took me in for an acrylic manicure. Everyone was friendly, the environment was super clean, pleasing to the eye. The owner offered me coffee/tea, and even propped up my pillow that I rested my back against. The prices are very fair The music they play, relaxing! I really do suggest this location. I also suggest making an appointment.

Yesterday I got my nails done at Shadi Nail Salon in Encino, and I had such a great experience. Sanaz did my nails, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She was very professional, patient, and paid close attention to every detail. She really took her time to make sure everything was perfect, and the final result was exactly what I wanted. The whole experience was very satisfying, relaxing, and enjoyable. I highly recommend Sanaz and this salon, and I will definitely be coming back!

Just had my May appointment and all I can say is thanks. Your builder gel technique is amazing. Really a healthier alternative.

U got my nails done a month ago, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The shape and quality are still amazing, and the customer service was exceptional. I highly recommend trying it out--you won't be disappointed!

I have been looking for a salon that provides Builder Gel (BAIB) and local location. Shadi nails just opened a few months ago and thought I'd like to try their services! And they did not disappoint!! The nails techs and Shadi were so lovely, took their time, and provided a calm environment. I think I found my new nail salon to come back to. You won't be disappointed! Currently they're only taking cash or Zelle! Thank you so much!!

My feet feel amazing. I added the callus removal and it was worth every penny. They use this clever block that sits on top of the water bowl and under your heel during the callus removal. It looks like a yoga block and it's brilliant. It keeps you comfortable and gives the technician a perfect angle to work. Small detail, big difference. The chairs are really nice too. Great massage features, super comfortable, and the whole place looks clean and smells good. No harsh chemical smell, which I really appreciate. All of that, plus a little foot massage at the end, came out to $40. I really enjoyed my time here and left feeling refreshed. Kim did a great job and I'd definitely come back.

I wish I would've kept my grown out set because this place ruined my nail beds. I was originally going to get a new set. When the process of getting my old set removed started I immediately got cold feet. It was a guy that worked on me. Not the guy with the tattoos but the other one. His drill was set way too high. He drilled my nails way too thin and you can see the drill burn on my pinky. You can see the drill marks on all my natural nails. I had to stop him from trying to rip off the acrylic off my natural nail by trying to lift it. Telling him I wanted him to remove my nails by properly soaking them. He ruined my nail beds that I'm gonna be forced to let them grow out until they get thick again. The receptionist was nice and the place looked good inside. Its just crazy that he would hurt my nails this bad. A licensed nail tech knows what the rings of fire are and he cause so much damage you can see it in the pictures. The acrylic set I had on before was the first one that I had in months so my nail beds were healthy. This is beyond heartbreaking and disappointing. Reply: blaming the customer for the technicians wrongdoing is so unprofessional. As a licensed nail tech, you should know how not to ruin a customer's nail bed. My nail beds underneath the acrylics were healthy and were not thin. I normally go to a private technician because salons are so irresponsible. they work so fast trying to rush through every client. And you prove my point right because your technician was working way too fast. I shouldn't tell him how fast he should control the drill or guide him to do a simple soak off. I moved my hands multiple times telling him that he was burning me with the drill and that he had to properly soak them off . That had been my first set of acrylics in a year my nails underneath were thick and healthy. regardless of the thickness of the nails an artist should still be able to soak off and scrub off the acrylic when doing a proper removal without thinning out the clients nails. You're just creating ridiculous excuses trying to deflect without taking accountability. It was a HUGE mistake on my behalf for sticking until the end only so he can ruin my nails. He did permanent damage to my nail beds that I am now forced to grow them out because they're so delicate, thin and they keep breaking. It was my mistake for thinking that a salon with good reviews could catfish me, and for thinking that you guys knew what you guys were doing as technicians. I hope that you guys can learn from your mistakes and never do this to another woman. I left us alone, crying with my fingers hurting. Waking up the next morning with my fingers being sore from how bad he left them.

I was a walk-in and she's very Precise and high-quality polished perfection with her work she asked questions if I was OK with the length with the shape and she made me feel very comfortable. It was hot as hell and they did not have any ventilation or AC 2. The ladies were talking and laughing in their language and then looking at me. I know they probably werent laughing at me, or who knows, but in either case its rude. 3. The girl who did my manicure put the polish on so thick its gonna take 3 business days to dry lol. In the attached photo you can see the polish is still not dry even after an hour of leaving the salon. Im new to the area and im a loyal client & a good tipper, so they lost a chance for a returning customer because of those reasons. The lady who did my pedicure did a good job & they accepted me as a walk-in. Those were the only two good things. Not enough to give them my business again.

I was told she wasn't available, so I asked if they could recommend someone with similar experience. I was assured that a note would be made and that I would be taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The technician I was assigned seemed unfamiliar with the color I was requesting and struggled to understand what I wanted. The polish application was poorly done, with bubbles and an uneven finish, requiring it to be removed and redone. Even after explaining that I wanted a pearl or shimmery color, I was not given suitable options and ended up with plain white nails--a color I did not want. To make matters worse, the service felt rushed. My pedicure was incomplete, and I never received the foot massage that is normally part of the experience. After spending extra time correcting mistakes, I was quickly sent on my way. I have been a customer for some time, which made this experience especially frustrating and disappointing. I expected much better service and attention to detail.
