We received an excellent quote for the spay and neuter of our two kittens, and the value and quality of care were so impressive that we actually drove from out of state to have the procedures performed there. Despite an already packed schedule, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, treating both us and our pets with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Dr. Eggert is one of the most dedicated veterinarians I have ever met. Time and again, she has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond, often helping pets after hours when many clinics would have turned them away. I waited quite a while to write this review, I wanted to make sure I wasn't in a bad mind set. While everyone is pleasant here one doctor totally misdiagnosed my cat causing her tremendous stress and discomfort. My cat wasn't eating so we took her in. They ran a full panel on her and the doctor, Dr. Eggert said she had a UTI. We thought it was odd as she was prone to those and showed zero signs of it. So they gave her oral antibiotics and sent us home. She really hated taking those and was super stressed and not happy. After two weeks no improvement so we went back in. Another full panel was run and now they told us she had liver cancer. I know even if they got it right the first time my kitty was still going to die. But to completely misdiagnose her and causer her so much anguish was just too much to bear. We got no apologies or acknowledgement from the office. Why did it take 2 full panels to find something like cancer. It was there the first time. I just can not trust this office. read more

As a vet tech myself, I was very impressed with my first visit! They got it right from start to end. Dominique greeted us wamly in reception and made us feel welcome.We were ushered into a well lit and clean exam room. The assistants came in to meet and greet us and fawn all over my dog. We felt very welcomed! The vet was very kind and knowledgeable, a new graduate, which doesn't scare me at all. She was vary knowledgeable and answered all if questions and requests. Pricing is definitely better than any corporately run establishment. And I hope they stay that way! I was contemplating switching vets as we moved farther away from them than I hoped. I had already forwarded our records though so I decided to try them out . I am so glad I did! read more

I have been meaning to write this review for quite awhile. In August my baby girl Sierra was sick and wouldn't stop having seizures and so the time came for me to love you and let her go to stop the pain. The vet and this office was awesome I felt like they cared. The vet cried with me and my family. I never felt like I did this alone. This isn't the first time I had to let an animal go to stop their pain but it is the first time I felt like the vet was hurting almost as much as I was. Fast forward to now and we have a new family member, Schroeder and it was time to have him fixed. The vet helped me through the process (first male dog) and even called to check up on how he was doing. They care and it shows. I love this vet and think they are awesome! Thank you for all you do! Nice facility all beautifully decorated. Affordable quality care Creekside is not! Went in for our little King Charles Cavalier's teeth to be cleaned. The quote was over a thousand dollars . Had her teeth cleaned a year ago with five teeth removed from a country vet near where we rescued her. Price was $145. This woman wanted to remove 16 teeth! Yes, there was next-guard for fleas/ tics as well as other meds recommended. My God, where does it end??? Enough of the rant. If you are retired, on a limited budget and have more than one rescue, you may want to look further. My suggestion to the vet: give seniors a break in the price, as well as young families with kids. Kids and senior citizens need dogs, in my opinion. Bottom line, the new, beautifully decorated facility is more important to this business owner/vet, than providing affordable care for animals. To be clear, I'm not suggesting the work was unsatisfactory, just way over my budget. It will be paid, however. Needless to say, today was our last visit to Creekside, in Keizer, Oregon for our 3 lovely rescues! 9/28/2017 Took our little King Charles Cavalier Spaniel to another vet for a second opinion regarding the removal of 16 teeth. This doctor found no teeth that needed to be removed. Based on our experience with Creekside, it might be A good idea when things don't add up, to get a second opinion. I would do anything to keep my Dogs healthy, but not at Creekside. I've lost trust. And by the way, the second vet, took us into the room while he checked her teeth as we looked on . He did not charge a cent. As a retired teacher, I do hope that Creekside views my review as a chance to learn and put the animals ' health first, especially when those dogs are rescued , in order to reward those programs . read more

We moved to Keizer this year and chose this clinic to bring our dog to. Bailee is very fearful in vet clinics, but they did an amazing job with her! They are patient, make an effort for the visit to be a positive experience for the pet, and encourage "happy visits" to reduce their apprehension. We now gladly take our recent addition there, and we were pleasantly surprised they waive the examination fee for newly rescued pups! We tried Creekside and it was the best decision we could have ever done. Price wise they are a little bit more than the discount vet down the road(which recently was sold to a corporate clinic so prices will rise there.) however the level of care and compassion shown is what sets creekside apart. They've done an excellent job with our dogs and when our senior cat was having serious problems they were excellent trying to help. Unfortunately we had to make the tough decision to put him to sleep and the vet was amazing. Something we never considered was that our dogs would grieve too and would look for their friend since they didn't know what happened to him. She told us to take the blanket home that he was wrapped in at the end and let them smell it and that would help them. They snuggled on that blanket for the next day and it helped them get closure. Again something we didn't even think about at the time and just one example on how they're the best Clinic in town. read more

I can not say enough great things about this Creekside Veterinary Clinic, the Doctor/owner, and her entire staff. We have a few "Exotic Pets", which are difficult to find veterinary care for locally in Salem/Keizer Oregon. We were referred here on an emergency basis for our hedgehog, but they were very nearly closing for the day and not scheduling visits for "Exotic Pets" for a few more days. In talking with the doctor over the phone, she felt our situation was fairly urgent. Her and her staff stayed open, after business hours, long enough for me to drive 11 miles across town and care for our hedgehog for close to an hour. In an age of declining customer service, I would highly recommend them for all your veterinary needs and thank them for being so accommodating to me and my pets care. read more

This is an amazing clinic. Both veterinarians in the practice are knowledgable and compassionate. When we first moved to the area, we tried a few other clinics, but the care our pets have received at Creekside has been amazing, I can't imagine taking our pets anywhere else.
