Was really looking forward to a refreshing treat to try and beat the heat. It was definitely cold, just not tasty :( the Mango Tango smoothie just had no flavor - not sure if it was just not ripe mangoes used or what. The butterfly drink was just okay. I would've rated this place a 3/5 had it not been for the poor service. The cashier was inpatient when we were ordering and just overall had a rude personality. The inside was cute in that they sold antiques, stickers and some clothes.

Popped in today and it was fairly steady for a Saturday mid morning. Crema did a great job of decorating for Christmas with a tree and presents under it. I would have loved to sit and enjoy the vibes, but tables were primarily full so I got my breakfast sandwich and drink to go. Flavor of the sandwich was ok, but the croissant wasn't cut all the way through so it fell apart when I tried to eat it. I paid extra for avocado to be added and it barely had a few slivers. Also needed something extra on it for flavor... maybe a sauce or salt and pepper. I also ordered the Enchanted Forrest latte off their winter drinks special menu. That one was pretty decent, but can't really taste much of the coffee itself. Next time I'll try a basic latte to see if more of the coffee flavor comes across. Overall, this place has a really cool vibe and I'd come back again to try it, but I would skip the breakfast sandwich.

Perfect place to bring your laptop and devour something yummy with coffee. I love their specials every season. In October and November, they had fall flavors featured, and now they have winter flavors! I ask for my lattes to have a little less sugar and they can accommodate my palette. My coffee and treats are always ready promptly. The people working are so kind and accepting of the nature of their cafe. There are long tables to share and small tables for students/people working. I always see firefighters and police officers sitting outside enjoying coffee. This place actually roasts coffee beans, so be prepared to smell like roasted beans when you leave. Today, Crema hosted 'The Romance Book Store'. They had about 50 or so books for you to buy! It was a perfect morning! Coffee and books!

Food: - Decent, ordered a sandwich and a mango Italian soda - Overpriced for what it was - 6/10 Service: - Pretty friendly staff - 5 minute wait to get the food - 8/10 Ambiance: - Lots of seating - I would say it's a nice place to work but so many people are there it actually gets pretty loud - Not sure if there is a parking lot since I walked to the front - Nicely decorated and spacious - 7/10 Overall Rating: 7/10

Floored by the amazing service from the staff at crema! I've often heard rave reviews of their aromatic coffee but never made my way over until today. I was able to find parking easily along the Alameda and also noticed there is a parking lot behind the building. There were a surprising amount of indoor seating options, small tables along the wall for those who need to plug in, communal tables for larger groups, and counter seating along the windows for those who prefer to catch up on their people watching. I ordered the red velvet latte which was perfect! Perfect temp, not too sweet, and rich with flavor! My kiddos were surprised and delighted to learn that this location gives out pup cups (little cups of whipped cream and bacon) our pup loved the novelty of being able to like a treat out of a cup! Highly recommend and perhaps may try one of their pastries on a future visit.

I came here with my team for a coffee break and it was a great place to hang out and talk. I would say their coffee is not very strong and is a little watery but the flavors are good. It looks like a great place for chilling and studying though!

    Chicken Panini

Came here for brunch with a friend. The ambience was pretty cool and the cashier was nice. I ordered the chicken panini and it wasn't great. Picked up my order from the counter when it was ready and one of the staff members placed the receipt directly on top of the panini (gross). The panini itself was not great- the chicken was tough and bland, bread was not warm and was also on the tough side. Overpriced sandwich and not worth it at all.

I've driven by this place and it's super cute, which is why I decided to come here to do work. Unfortunately their wifi was super slow. I ordered their banh mi, which tasted pretty weird. Not expired, but it didn't taste Asian or like a banh mi. There's a lot of seating and metered street parking wasn't too difficult to find. Not sure if I'll be back-- maybe only if I avoided their sandwiches and didn't need to use wifi.

Old school style coffee spot! Drinks: Great amount of caffeine and not too sweet. Caramel Almond Royale Latte: perfect Specials: Cookie butter Cold Brew: delicious Ambiance: think Starbucks/ Peet's in the 90's. Super chill lots of seating and clean Service: they were super sweet and coffee made in great timing. I will be coming back.

Came here on a Saturday morning around 7:00 AM and was surprised to see quite a few people inside the shop. They have plenty of parking in the back which I appreciate for the Alameda. I ordered an iced vanilla latte which was good. It came in a plastic cup with a plastic straw (I'm glad it wasn't a paper straw). For espresso drinks you can order a single, double or triple. I liked the taste of my coffee I just wish it was colder/more iced. The ambiance inside is cozy. Lots or art, books to read, plenty of seating space. This reminds me of a coffee shop you'd see in a mountain town like Lake Tahoe. The staff were friendly. The wait was around 5-10 minutes with a few orders ahead of me. Overall really good!

It sucks to say that Crema seems to have lost it's charm and quality. My fiancé and I used to frequent this place when it was located down the street. It was a large space to hang out and still is. I've been here a handful of times since it's moved but the drinks aren't as good. My recent affogato order to-go was put in a plastic cup instead of a hot cup as I'd expect, and I dumped it out because it tasted terribly of soap.

Free wifi, full menu, ample seating, plenty of outlets and delicious drinks! Can't beat it! You will order in the front and pick up at the same counter. The wait isn't too long here. Try the earl grey latte and the spinach berry salad!

Not really welcoming. I went to order and the cashier looked confused that I was ordering a coffee. No, Good morning how what can I get you or anything. She did however make a customize coffee without any issues. I actually told her have a nice day but crickets on her end. Inside looked really nice. It was early around 8am on a Sunday so not busy at all. I'm giving this place 2 stars. It would've been 1 star but she did make a customize coffee for me. I'd say maybe just work better on simple gestures on how to make a customer feel welcomed instead of someone looking you up and down and with a confused look. That's all.

The shop is a standard deli with a few tables inside. The service is fast and friendly, and the ingredients are fresh. The best part about these sandwiches, though, is that their sourdough has a crunchy exterior. The sourdough I've experienced at other sandwich locations tends to have a softer outside, which leads me to typically offering Dutch crunch instead. At West Coast Sourdough, though, their sourdough is just as crunchy as a Dutch crunch elsewhere, giving me both the texture and flavor profile I desire. If I'm looking for a basic deli sandwich on a quality sourdough roll, it's always safe to assume I'll be going here.

Whether you're ordering to-go or eating in, the food is always piping hot and consistently flavorful, never disappoints! Our go-to order is the clam chowder with a sourdough bread bowl, which is hands down the best. I recommend getting the bread bowl on the side so you can enjoy the bread and chowder together. The clam chowder is my favorite, perfectly creamy with generous chunks of clams and potatoes. The bread bowl is the highlight, fluffy and crispy at the same time. Yum!

There was no foot traffic at the time of my arrival so I anticipated the visit to be quick and painless. Unfortunately, the older gentleman wearing glasses, a hat, & the tie dye top was short & quite unpleasant. We placed an order for #201 [Adam Richman- Fried Chicken, Ham, Posto, Real Honey, Avocado, Swiss] on Dutch crunch. The vibe and tone was off putting to say the least. Sandwich was well made but I'm not sure it was worth dealing with a grumpy and unpleasant human. Meh! 2 stars.

When I arrived at my destination and opened the bag, I noticed that both bags of chips had been placed underneath the weight of two sandwiches and the drinks. As a result, one bag of chips had burst open and the other was completely smashed. On top of that, the two drinks I ordered were warm and clearly had not been cooled or stored in the fridge. Unfortunately, the food issues didn't stop there. When I opened the first sandwich, I found a long, curly hair sticking straight up out of the sandwich. The second sandwich had an excessive amount of sauce, making it extremely soggy, and the top bread was essentially falling apart and nonexistent. I usually enjoy Ike's and consider it a good sandwich spot. I've never had an experience like this before, which is why I felt the need to write this review. I'm sharing this feedback so the store can address these issues and ensure better food handling, packaging, and quality control from the employees working at that time.

However, as a sourdough lover going back to my youth, when I searched Yelp for a lunch spot last weekend when we were in the area, I was excited to see West Coast Sourdough as an option. Not only did we go there on Sunday afternoon; we also returned on Monday mid-day and brought Adored Grandson, too. The first time DH and I split the 8-inch hot pastrami sandwich with au jus on the side. Major yum! The cashier suggested adding their house sauce, which was a great addition to the flavors of the pastrami and sourdough. The au jus added another layer of meaty, salty flavor. I was very happy with that choice. DH also had a cup of clam chowder, and I ordered a chocolate chip cookie. We were happy campers. As I was looking around the interior space, I noticed several seasonal items. One was a lobster roll with bacon sandwich. How did I miss that at the outset? Lobster roll as a fast casual sandwich shop? Hmm! That was the reason that we went back the next day, actually. I raved about the place to AG, who wasn't raised steeped in sourdough flavor goodness, so wasn't as stoked as I was. Still, he really enjoyed his buffalo chicken sandwich. DH and I each ordered our own 6-inch lobster roll sandwich on our return visit. That is the only size that they offer for that special sando. Their take included lots of lobster, plus some crunchy celery and light mayo over tomato and lettuce, so it was served cold. That was fine, but the bacon could have benefited from a warm up. Otherwise, it was delicious. Because it was rich, probably DH and I could have split one sandwich and just ordered something else on the side. I was definitely full on the drive home. The interior of this location is cheerful, with oversized collages of images of California destinations and fresh food items on the feature wall. The team of sandwich artists kept busy with their orders not only for in-house guests, but also take-out orders. We didn't feel rushed to give up our table. We almost bought a take-and-bake large sourdough bread to bring home, but they got busy and we had to head out. Nice to know they offer that option for a reasonable price. Wish we had this expanding chain in Ventura County!

We tried the lobster bisque for fun and it was just glorified tomato soup. Overall the restaurant was clean but the food was garbage; don't get me started on the fake "pesto" sauce, pesto is green!! Why was it white with barely green flakes. Huge disappointment for 45$ would rather have bought a top shelf eighth of weed and gone hungry.
