Good coffee, matcha, and food! We have been here a couple times now, and service has been warm and friendly each time. They have seasonal drinks, so be sure to check the sign near the register for those options! The interior is pretty small with a little bit of seating, but we like to sit outside to enjoy our food & drinks (and do some dog-watching). Parking is available in a nearby lot, in the garage I believe, or on the street.
Such a cute little coffee shop conveniently located near the university! The service was friendly, and there's a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a good selection of coffee drinks as well as plenty of food options, so it's more than just a grab-and-go coffee spot. A great place to stop by, relax, and chat with friends if you're around the campus area.
1 Oz Coffee is such a cute and refreshing little spot. The space is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a soft minimalist aesthetic that makes it feel calm and inviting the moment you walk in. I loved the pink espresso machine, the neat display of pastries, and the overall cozy neighborhood feel. I tried the lavender honey latte, and it was beautiful both visually and in flavor. The latte art was gorgeous, and the drink itself was smooth, lightly floral, and well balanced without being overly sweet. I also had the prosciutto avocado toast, which was fresh, filling, and nicely composed with egg, olives, greens, and a creamy sauce that brought everything together. Their menu also looked fun and seasonal, with drinks like cardamom rose latte and strawberry matcha, plus a good selection of bagels, toasts, pastries, and bottled drinks. The pastry case looked especially tempting. This is the kind of café that feels great for a slow morning coffee, a light brunch, or a casual catch-up. Cute interior, appealing menu, and beautifully presented food and drinks. I'd definitely come back to try more of the seasonals. The service was fast and friendly.
This place is such a hidden gem. It is nested near an apartment complex, so parking could be a hustle. The menu offering is pretty interesting. With seasonal drink, like lavender honey latte. I personally tried their signature, ice cinnamon honey latte with oat milk. Overall taste was pretty good. I didn't really taste the cinnamon. The cafe is perfectly decorated. Not over the top. The server was friendly and I got my drink pretty quickly as well. A solid 4/5 rating. Psst, their bagels offering looks sooo good, will definitely come back to try!
My friend and I came here for an afternoon pick-me-up right after my friend picked me up from the airport. There was some street parking around the coffee shop. I'm not sure if there is additional parking elsewhere as I always park on the street. The first time I came I got the latte flight, which equals about a small or medium latte. I also got the veggie bagel. They were out of avocado though. The lattes were pretty good, and the bagel was also good! I normally get the seasonal latte when I've gone after the first time, and each latte has been pretty good. I'll keep coming back!
1 oz has a few locations, we decided to try it near Santa Clara University. Parking here is mostly street but there is a retail parking garage underground near the apartment complex's front office. The main star of the menu was unfortunately a seasonal drink which was only available in the summer earlier months back. The Mango Matcha, which tasted a lot like a Mango Lassi with a perfect blend of Matcha. The flavor combo is amazing, however the sizing of the drink itself is quite disappointing considering the price. The shop is nicely decorated and there's a decent amount of outdoor and indoor bar seating. I would only come back when this seasonal drink is available.
1oz Coffee is one of my go-to coffee spots in North San Jose! I love walking here, grabbing a drink, and sitting around to enjoy the space. There's plenty of seating, the area is beautiful (although it is surrounded by office buildings, and parking is plentiful and easy I usually order the iced vanilla bean latte, which is always solid, and occasionally the ube latte, which is also really good. A great, easy spot to relax and enjoy good coffee.

Dare I say this might have become my new favorite Matcha spot. This location is very cute and the decorations interior are so adorable. There's not a lot of seating inside, but there's a cute little patio with outdoor seating and benches as well. One of my favorite things about this place is that their strawberry macho is actually like a strawberry milk base with Matcha over it that makes a flavor is more intense and it's very refreshing and pleasant. The pan and pastries is one of the best I've ever tried, and it really hit the spot. It was perfectly moist and chewy and coconut-y.

I got their apple crumble holiday latte and it was pretty good. My bf got their kyoto cold brew and it was nice and smooth. He tasted some fruity notes but I couldn't taste it lol we also got one of their bagels which had a good amount of filling. Definitely on the pricey side imo my latte was almost $8 after tax and the bagel was around $14, so it's more of a treat rather than a frequent trip for coffee. This place was nice because it also had outdoor seating in addition to indoor seating, in case you wanted to bring your dog along. Saw some people bring their dogs to the cafe and also just walking by since my friends and I sat outdoors.

We tried the iced matcha & hojicha lattes - (milk & sweetness levels adjustable) - well-mixed (no grainy/powdery texture), just enough ice to keep drink cool without diluting the latte, smooth and lightly sweet. Thumbs up.
It's a bit difficult to find the parking lot, so map yourself to the retail garage attached to these buildings instead of directly to the shop. AMBIANCE: I like the outdoor space here a lot! Good space to study or read with a breeze. I even took a Zoom call here once and it's doable-- not ideal but worked in a pinch. SERVICE: There was only 1 visible person on staff, so I understood why the lines were so long. Not sure if it was just the time of day we came, but things were moving slow. FOOD: I did really enjoy these pastries! Pretty unique compared to offerings from other coffee shops. I was skeptical about the cookie-croissant but it wasn't too sweet and heavy. I liked it! DRINKS: I didn't love the matcha (not pictured) but the coffee drinks were great. I like the interesting latte flavors and know that they rotate things out for the seasons. I tried the vanilla been latte, and I'd give it a 9/10. It was really good, but a little on the milky side. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, I'd recommend adding an extra shot of espresso. I also ordered the veggie bagel. My coffee and bagel came to $23 and some change. The café itself is beautiful, especially the outdoor seating area. It's a great place to relax, study, or get some work done. They offer free Wi-Fi and have a restroom available, which is always a plus. read more
I love this spot because it's walking distance from my work and most of the year they open up the front of the shop for a kind of indoor-outdoor vibe. Perfect for warm California days with nearby palm trees and plenty of outdoor seating. My normal go-to is a sparkling iced americano (don't know it until you try it). It's not a terribly uncommon drink but many places won't make it for me. Even though it's not on the menu, the baristas always make it without a fuss and service is usually quick. The espresso is solid. Today I tried the seasonal Melo Belo. It's an iced banana latte with a coconut cream on top. The banana flavor is subtle and not too sweet. That's my preference when I have coffee, but I think most would actually benefit from asking for extra banana syrup. The coconut foam is also subtly sweet, and actually has a slight saltiness that helps the drink feel well-balanced. This drink was definitely a treat. They also have a great selection of pastries that range from standard croissants to less common flavors, like mango and ube. They do tend to sell out throughout the day, so if you want the best selection, come early. read more

New favorite coffee shop. As a coffee lover I really look for shops that have latte art - it sounds silly but it also means perfect milk and everything else that comes with a perfect cappuccino. Friendly staff as well. Truly a hidden gem for quality, casual coffee and study. read more
What a charming little spot this is! Needed to grab a morning coffee during a wait, and decided to check this place out instead of a standard brand. Very nice people greeted me, and the almond croissants looked yummy, so I grabbed one with a cappuccino. Very tasty and delightful, and great cappuccino! I set up my iPad, logged on to their wifi, and enjoyed my little break. It feels calm, with a view of the patio, greenery, and palm trees. And parking was a breeze. Anywhere could serve cold brew or espresso shots but I wanted a place that was chill, had decent amount of outside seating and a place to sit inside too. My wife and I ordered something simple, since I was fasting for 3 days no food, I went for a Kyoto cold brew, my wife got a Kauai coffee. I needed something to get me going in the morning before a nice long walk. When we ordered, the gentleman at the counter asked me if I wanted milk or sugar in my cold brew but I declined and for my wife's drink, he gave us options on which milk preference, she was fine with whole milk. When the drinks were ready, it was fairly quick, probably less than 2 minutes? We were barely staring at the swag and mugs on their display counters, we even got to see a picture for the event they're hosting. Also, it's not part of the cafe but the garage parking has Tesla chargers or some say NACs, if you feel like you need a charge, there's two spots available. read more

Great find. This shop is originally from the OC, and I needed a good coffee shop to stop by, and here we are. They have very lovely crafted coffees or the regular cold brew as my jam. The interior is small, but so well lit with a ton of outdoors space, rightfully so when it's almost always nice weather. This 1oz. Coffee location is in an unexpected area tucked in the middle of business buildings. The employees working in the area are sure lucky that they don't have to go far to get good coffee. I came here over the weekend for a coffee break with the kids. Parking was plentiful and the outdoor vibe was chill. There were plenty of outdoor seating and games/activities such as golf (putting) and ping pong. My kids were entertained as we waited for our drinks. We opted to order off their seasonal menu - Rainer Rainfall (flat white with earl grey syrup) and a pumpkin spice latte. The pumpkin spice was pretty tasty and not artificially sweet like what you would get at Starbucks. Overall, coffee at this location is consistent with their other location in Mountain View. read more
I had heard great things about this place and was really looking forward to trying it, especially since their ube latte seemed like a fun and unique option you don't see at most cafes. Despite a bit of a line, which I expected given it was graduation weekend, I was excited to finally check it out. Initially, I had my heart set on the ube latte, but once I got closer to ordering and saw the iced mango matcha latte on the menu, I decided to try that instead. We also ordered an iced americano and a cake pop. The cake pop and americano were ready almost immediately, which was great, but the iced mango matcha ended up taking much longer than expected. It was especially frustrating seeing customers who ordered after me, and ordered the same drink, getting theirs first. Whatever process they use for making drinks seems disorganized, and it definitely took away from the overall experience. Also worth noting: the parking situation here is not ideal, so be prepared for a bit of a hassle, especially during peak hours and weekends. All in all, the drinks were decent, but the wait and lack of efficiency made it hard to fully enjoy the visit. read more

I had to drop my car off nearby and, in the middle of a torrential downpour, found myself ducking into this coffee shop--which, at first glance, looks like it's tucked into an apartment complex. Not exactly a grand entrance, but sometimes the best spots are the ones you quite literally run into. It was busy. Lots of families, kids, a steady hum of traffic coming in from the connected parking garage (street parking wasn't bad either). But what stood out immediately was the team. So much personality. Genuinely sweet. The kind of warm energy you can't fake. I walked in mid-phone call and the barista clocked it instantly--"Need a couple more minutes?" Yes, actually. He made another order while giving me space, then came right back and made sure I was good before starting mine. It seems small, but it's not. There's an art to pacing a busy bar, and they handled it thoughtfully instead of chaotically batching everything at once. I appreciated that more than I expected to. We ordered the hummus toast. Full transparency: I'm not a hummus girl. It wasn't for me. My boyfriend, however, loved it--said it felt fresh, healthy, and light. So take that as you will. The menu leans into toasts and sandwiches, and everything looked solid (the croissants at the next table were getting glowing reviews from both parents and tiny humans). My matcha? Pretty. Warm. Really, really good. The drip coffee was also solid. And honestly, sometimes "solid and comforting on a rainy day" is exactly what you want. There's a full glass wall that lets you watch the rain streak down while the whole place hums along. It felt cozy without trying too hard. Not overly aesthetic, not overly curated--just easy. Easy to park. Easy to sit. Easy to work. Would I go back? Yes. Maybe I'd try something different food-wise. Maybe I'd just stick to the matcha and post up with my laptop. Not every place needs a dramatic hook. Sometimes it's enough that it's welcoming, well-run, and makes you want to stay a little longer. And on a stormy afternoon, that's more than enough. read more

I especially love the outside section with lots of tables to enjoy some fresh air. The food and drinks here are great. I have tried their hojicha latte both hot and cold, and really enjoyed it. I love hojicha and was pleasantly surprised that they have it here. The drink was not grainy and had a nice flavor! I also tried their Kyoto cold brew which was very refreshing. Their service is very kind and quick. The last time I went however, they accidentally gave me the wrong food order. I ordered a burrata toast and got a hummus toast. The food was still yummy. The atmosphere is nice and cute. They have cute little ghost statues for Halloween and a bit of seating in and outside the shop! read more

I originally found this spot when looking for a great place to introduce my daughter to chai and we were not disappointed!! Outside of an Indian home, this is the best chai that I have found in the South Bay. It's warm (or iced if that's your cup of tea), spicy, full of flavor and brewed to order. I also love that 1 oz. has plant based milk options that aren't an afterthought/ generic. I come regularly and the staff are warm, inviting, authentic who absolutely know and care about quality. This spot is definitely not a corporate chain spot, but even when there is a crowd I never wait for my drink. It is super important to add that this place is LQBTQ+ affirming and I recommend without hesitation. I would absolutely recommend their espresso (and expertise of the baristas) to the most discerning crowd. They folks who work there really take pride in creating a great espresso drink. The cappuccinos are delicious and my favorite that I've had since moving from SF. The toasts are delicious and a full meal! My favorite is the hummus toast: generous layer of hummus (not garlicky), house made balsamic reduction, fresh basil and sliced tomatoes, topped with chili oil and fresh cracked pepper. It's my go-to, but the avocado toast is a close second. I love that they have so many plant-based options, but all the options feel abundant without being overly indulgent. I love 1 Oz, I adore the staff, and I this business absolutely deserves a following. read more
I tried the PSL this weekend and I didn't like it at all :( the flavoring tasted a bit bitter and sour. The flavoring was coagulating on the straw and became solid and looked like butter? My boyfriend liked his honey cinnamon latte though! Cashier wasn't friendly when we asked for recs but the barista was nice and did pretty latte art! read more

Lovely coffee, great cafe environment. I went on Valentines' weekend, and they put cute Valentines' stickers and a little flower on your to-go coffee cup for free! I've never seen any other cafe do something like this! It's the little things that make a difference. Adry was very nice and friendly, and she poured me a swan. So cool! so glad i stopped here! I was getting my hair done right next door, and was in the mood for a drink. The location looked lovely, with a lot of natural light. I was debating between a matcha latte, or just a regular vanilla latte. Then I saw their specialty menu and was interested in the pistachio orange latte. The drink was amazing, the mix of the orange blossom flavor and the pistachio with the oatmilk was so good and refreshing, really loved this drink and will come back! read more
Looked for a coffee near by and I ran into 1oz. Didn't even know it was here in Santa Clara! Such a hidden location but super dope outside and inside area. Service was fast and easy with them being very knowledgeable on the coffee. They told me all their syrups are made in house and that makes them less sweet which was a plus. I ended up getting the Vanilla Bean Latte and I would say it was an 8/10. Not too sweet, coffee forward just wish it would have more of a vanilla flavor. Overall, great place for a morning pick me up! read more
