Dare I say this might have become my new favorite Matcha spot. This location is very cute and the decorations interior are so adorable. There's not a lot of seating inside, but there's a cute little patio with outdoor seating and benches as well. One of my favorite things about this place is that their strawberry macho is actually like a strawberry milk base with Matcha over it that makes a flavor is more intense and it's very refreshing and pleasant. The pan and pastries is one of the best I've ever tried, and it really hit the spot. It was perfectly moist and chewy and coconut-y. read more

My friend and I came here for an afternoon pick-me-up right after my friend picked me up from the airport. There was some street parking around the coffee shop. I'm not sure if there is additional parking elsewhere as I always park on the street. The first time I came I got the latte flight, which equals about a small or medium latte. I also got the veggie bagel. They were out of avocado though. The lattes were pretty good, and the bagel was also good! Cute cozy coffee shop in Santa Clara. Met up with a friend here because there was a chocolate and baked goods pop-up which was cool to see. I got their apple crumble holiday latte and it was pretty good. My bf got their kyoto cold brew and it was nice and smooth. He tasted some fruity notes but I couldn't taste it lol we also got one of their bagels which had a good amount of filling. Definitely on the pricey side imo my latte was almost $8 after tax and the bagel was around $14, so it's more of a treat rather than a frequent trip for coffee. This place was nice because it also had outdoor seating in addition to indoor seating, in case you wanted to bring your dog along. Saw some people bring their dogs to the cafe and also just walking by since my friends and I sat outdoors. read more

It's a bit difficult to find the parking lot, so map yourself to the retail garage attached to these buildings instead of directly to the shop. AMBIANCE: I like the outdoor space here a lot! Just a real bummer in general here. Would give them one star but the staff were super friendly and my wife loved them playing Twilight music. Came here on Sunday morning so I could get a cold brew and my wife could get some type of sugar-free latte or sugar-free iced coffee. The cold brew that I got was mid at best with very little flavor or body. I always put a splash of cream and maybe a Splenda. So after I added that stuff taste was just now completely void. But what really killed the experience here is that they didn't have any sugar-free options whatsoever. This is right next to the campus, so really why wouldn't they have sugar free here? Anywhere worth a mention anymore has sugar-free options. But overall just very dismal as well. Definitely convenient if you go to college here across the street, so I imagine that's where a majority of the reviews come from. I had to drop my car off nearby and, in the middle of a torrential downpour, found myself ducking into this coffee shop--which, at first glance, looks like it's tucked into an apartment complex. Genuinely sweet. The kind of warm energy you can't fake. I walked in mid-phone call and the barista clocked it instantly--"Need a couple more minutes?" Yes, actually. He made another order while giving me space, then came right back and made sure I was good before starting mine. It seems small, but it's not. There's an art to pacing a busy bar, and they handled it thoughtfully instead of chaotically batching everything at once. I appreciated that more than I expected to. We ordered the hummus toast. Full transparency: I'm not a hummus girl. It wasn't for me. My boyfriend, however, loved it--said it felt fresh, healthy, and light. So take that as you will. The menu leans into toasts and sandwiches, and everything looked solid (the croissants at the next table were getting glowing reviews from both parents and tiny humans). My matcha? Pretty. Warm. Really, really good. The drip coffee was also solid. And honestly, sometimes "solid and comforting on a rainy day" is exactly what you want. Anywhere could serve cold brew or espresso shots but I wanted a place that was chill, had decent amount of outside seating and a place to sit inside too. My wife and I ordered something simple, since I was fasting for 3 days no food, I went for a Kyoto cold brew, my wife got a Kauai coffee. I needed something to get me going in the morning before a nice long walk. When we ordered, the gentleman at the counter asked me if I wanted milk or sugar in my cold brew but I declined and for my wife's drink, he gave us options on which milk preference, she was fine with whole milk. When the drinks were ready, it was fairly quick, probably less than 2 minutes? We were barely staring at the swag and mugs on their display counters, we even got to see a picture for the event they're hosting. I originally found this spot when looking for a great place to introduce my daughter to chai and we were not disappointed!! Outside of an Indian home, this is the best chai that I have found in the South Bay. It's warm (or iced if that's your cup of tea), spicy, full of flavor and brewed to order. I also love that 1 oz. has plant based milk options that aren't an afterthought/ generic. I come regularly and the staff are warm, inviting, authentic who absolutely know and care about quality. This spot is definitely not a corporate chain spot, but even when there is a crowd I never wait for my drink. It is super important to add that this place is LQBTQ+ affirming and I recommend without hesitation. I would absolutely recommend their espresso (and expertise of the baristas) to the most discerning crowd. They folks who work there really take pride in creating a great espresso drink. The cappuccinos are delicious and my favorite that I've had since moving from SF. The toasts are delicious and a full meal! My favorite is the hummus toast: generous layer of hummus (not garlicky), house made balsamic reduction, fresh basil and sliced tomatoes, topped with chili oil and fresh cracked pepper. It's my go-to, but the avocado toast is a close second. I love that they have so many plant-based options, but all the options feel abundant without being overly indulgent. I had heard great things about this place and was really looking forward to trying it, especially since their ube latte seemed like a fun and unique option you don't see at most cafes. Initially, I had my heart set on the ube latte, but once I got closer to ordering and saw the iced mango matcha latte on the menu, I decided to try that instead. We also ordered an iced americano and a cake pop. The cake pop and americano were ready almost immediately, which was great, but the iced mango matcha ended up taking much longer than expected. It was especially frustrating seeing customers who ordered after me, and ordered the same drink, getting theirs first. Whatever process they use for making drinks seems disorganized, and it definitely took away from the overall experience. Also worth noting: the parking situation here is not ideal, so be prepared for a bit of a hassle, especially during peak hours and weekends.
