It was our first time coming here. We walked up to look at the menu. No one greeted us or offered assistance. I looked over the menu briefly because a line was forming. I decided that I would order what I usually go for when I need a good pick me up. I tried to order an iced quad shot with a splash of crème and vanilla. I was told that they didn't have a quad shot (so explained to her what it meant) and then she said that they could do the drink but the ice on the side. I said ok. Then I glanced over the menu again while my husband ordered his coffee and saw their iced espresso option which is basically what I asked for so I nicely repeated my order to her for clarification just to make sure i didn't cause any confusion. She kind of went back and forth with me and was being rude. I don't understand why though a little clarification is better than having to remake the drink. I've never had such a confused barista and it was almost like she didn't know the menu. I also noticed she was on her phone while "helping" us so I'm not sure if she had more important things to be doing then to guide us through their way of ordering from the menu. And to top it off while we were waiting for our drinks we could hear an employee who was dropping food off at a table arguing with the customer about what was/was not ordered. The place is kind of small on the inside which is fine but the way the employees treat the customers is rude and argumentative and it left a horrible taste in my mouth. Coffee was ok but nothing special. The service was awful.

Recently, while strolling around Mizner Park, we saw this nice sign outside Crema advertising their new Pistachio Croissant. The picture was really tempting. So we went in. We asked for it and they said it would take a few minutes to come from the kitchen. After waiting for a bit, the pastry came in a box (we asked for To-Go). The moment we took a bit into it, we did not taste flaky croissant buttery layers, but bready dough, similar to what you get at a supermarket "croissant". Truly disappointed... I guess marketing does attract customers..... Talk about coming back.... that's another story.....

Compared to most of the Crema Gourmet locations, this one in Mizner Park seems very small inside, although it does have a large outdoor patio with umbrella shade. Prices were overpriced for the brownies at $6.50 but priced under $5.00 for the muffins. Ordered a hot espresso for $3.50 then they automatically add a 15% service charge and of course 7% sales tax. The cashier was smiling and friendly. My coffee was ready and in my hands within two minutes. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the views of the park. The interior decor was modern with a zen vibe lightly designed with neon words on the wall surrounded by plants and tin illy coffee cans. The bathroom had attractive industrial cement flooring, was relatively clean but could use some periodic attention.

It was slow afternoon, the food took a little time to be served, I guess it was made fresh. The tuna had a bit too much mayo, the croissant sandwich was very good. Place is clean and service is very friendly

Brand new cafe location in mizner park. Their smoothies and coffees are delicious. They also have brunch type of food and outside seating. Right next to IPic theaters

And here is the counter. And menus on the wall. High up. Ya gotten stretch that neck!

I went here based on the recommendation of my husband, who had enjoyed a rather large breakfast sandwich, so large he brought half home. Arriving at around 4 PM, only two other tables inside were occupied, and I should have left as soon as I entered. WHY? It was warm, very warm, and stuffy. Nut I was really hungry, and my hunger won. We asked one server if she thought it was wrm, and she laughed and said "Yes, but a lot of the people like it this warm. We asked another server and her response was different - the AC did not operate, no matter how low they adjusted it, and "Corporate" had to take care of it. And perhaps this is the glaring problem here. The interior is well designed. It was spotless. All the pastries are displayed beautifully (and are way overpriced), and the menus on the wall were easy to read. Nut there was no management on site, and the reference by a server to "corporate" speaks volumes. We ordered our sandwiches, and left to eat at home. I had a large coffee with half and half. The coffee was weak, and barely warm - - before adding the half/half. I took a few sips, and left it behind. The server removed the huge cup while we were still sitting, and didn't ask "don't you like the coffee?" And I would have said I didn't order semi luke warm coffee. When at home, I had my biggest disappointment. What? My turkey sandwich was on a tasty fresh banquette, but was missing tomato, bacon, and the condiments . It was like "what there are only a few people here, and you (whoever) can't make the sandwich the right way, with all the stated ingredients. My husband's chicken sandwich had all of the stuff it was supposed to have. I added my own tomato, and tangy mustard, and some fig spread made in Croatia, and enjoyed it. At $13, it should have been made correctly. Would I return? YES, but if the AC were not working, I would walk out, not even order to take home. Why? Because any humans who have to work in that stale stuffy warm environment can't be in a good mood. As an aside, the sweet young woman who took the order at the register mumbled, which didn't help the situation. I had to ask her several times "what/ what did you say? and it wasn't because I am hard of hearing, I am, though, unable to hear people who speak in a low voice and mumble. Management or Corporate should train and mentor her. It isn't easy to find any young people who want to work these days. I almost forgot - they have a nice sign which states that they automatically add 15% to any orders which are beaten at a table, in fairness to their staff. It's not a bad policy, but let's juice up the staff so they have some life to their personalty, and give them AC to work in when its 93 degrees outside. See my pictures.

What a cute little addition to Mizner Park. About 14 years ago, there used to be a place there called the cheese course, that I managed. It served delicious sandwiches, and Mizner Park has been itching for a place like that again. Enter Crema Gourmet! The interior is decorated perfectly, such an inviting atmosphere. They have a great selection of all day breakfast, Sandwiches, soups, pasta, and a fabulous coffee/tea selection. My mom and I stopped in for a quick lunch and we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. We both opted for the tuna sandwich on a fresh baguette. We both were not expecting it to come out hot and pressed, but boy are we glad it did! It was delicious! I really hope that this location does well as I am eager to try many other things on the menu. Well done!

Breakfast pancakes all day

My husband and I came across this cute gourmet spot in the heart of Boca. We were impressed with the menu selections which kind of reminds me of a gourmet sandwich spot. You have options to sit inside or outside. We opted for outdoor seating. You start with ordering your food at the front. Your food will be brought to you at the table. There is no table side service. I had the tuna poke bowl which was very freaking. My husband had the pancake breakfast which comes with huge portions of pancakes which had an aroma that made my mouth watery. His breakfast pancakes also came with side of eggs and bacon. Everything was reasonably priced .

There is a cool vibe, and friendly staff greets you. I enjoyed a Popeye shake, carrot cake, and white chocolate macadamia cookies. It was a fantastic sample of pastries. Drop on in and check them out!

The gravy was creamy yet had that bite of smokiness from the meat. The home fries were a large size and not your typical normal freezer bag of potatoes. The atmosphere inside has a lot of character and not the modern bullshit you see on Sundays for brunch for a photo opt. I prefer food over anything. You could find it online Or on the chalkboard and you order at the counter, they bring your food to the table. We ordered a variety , BLT, Roasted Turkey sandwich, breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a regular breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage and home fries. Everyone loved their meals and it came out timely. Parking was free and prices were very fair. I will definitely return but not for a Sunday brunch! Way too loud for us old girls!!!

Staff was nice. - The decor is a "casual surfer beach house" theme, and they also have lots of signage near the small bar in support of the Buffalo Bills (all opposing teams be warned, I can only imagine the place during regular NFL season!) - The menu had quite a bit to choose from, including a bottomless booze option for $20 (nice!) - The staff is on the younger side so I was expecting far less than the kind service we received... definitely a bonus! - The food was good... we had the Burger and the Shrimp Quesadilla - Price was pretty reasonable for the portions & quality CONS: - My order got messed up a touch... not the end of the world but caused me to purchase something I didn't want - No Gluten-Free breads available (although they do have corn tortillas!) All in all a solid 4 stars, really only because there was nothing about the brunch that made me consider going above that rating. It really was all... good!

The drinks we ordered: - Seasonal gingerbread iced latte, which was probably one of the best gingerbread lattes I've had. The drink was topped with cinnamon cold foam and a piece of gingerbread-flavored cake. - Lutinni iced latte with chocolate and hazelnut perfect for chocolate lovers! It comes with a Ferrero Rocher. She apologized when coming back but it was a little odd, we waited about five mins or so. I told her I was considering the tiramisu latte or the pistachio latte and I was hoping she could help steer me in a direction. I asked what she thought between the two and she clearly found my question odd bc there was a long pause before she said it depends what I'm in the mood for. Which isn't very helpful at all lol. And she said it with a bit of sass, like what a dumb question to ask. I don't think my question was that outlandish, many places have specific favorites or recommendations. After discovering the tiramisu latte relies on the cream top that can only be made using cream and no non-dairy products, I decided against that one. Without the cream top, it's just a vanilla latte she told us. Typically the pistachio latte is made with syrup and a pistachio butter but she said even the pistachio butter is made with condensed milk. We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.
