This is my second Crema and they have both been pretty good. This one has been my favourite up to now as it has plenty of parking in the mall lot and the store is much bigger than the other one that I went to. They have specials, one of then is the $10 entree on Thursday. I found the food to be much better than expected, the service was above average and the pricing was where it should be. Some drinks I found to be a little elevated in cost. They do not offer table service, you order what you want at the counter and then they bring it to you. Nice outside seating area but not recommended for summer months. A great choice for breakfast, lunch or a light dinner. Nice selection of pastires and the such to round out the package. read more

A pretty darn good coffee shop located right off of University Drive ! I will say the only thing I can't stand about this location is how the parking lot situation is. There are a handful of parking spots but they are usually very busy and always full because of many other establishments in the area. Upon walking in the workers behind the counter always greet me and are ready to take my order, giving me a few minutes and having me just follow them over when I'm ready. I usually go for a Nitro cold brew and while it is a little bit on the pricey side it is extravagantly amazing in flavor! It has a nice richness to it and there is no bitterness! I will say it can be hit or miss with filling it up though because there may be more or less Nitro foam on top when they pour it. It is roughly $6 for a small and I believe $8 for a large but I think it is justifiable especially when other places in the area are the same price. I always get it with no ice because it is already cold coming out of the machine. One thing I don't care about this place is they charge a service fee if you are ordering and staying in. I have also noticed it is still on a purchase even when you're leaving however they don't disclose that information. The place is always insanely clean and always seems to be getting wiped down so I really enjoy that while I am here or walking in because I know the place is going to be clean and fresh all the time! I absolutely loved this location. Great location, lots of seating inside and outside. The place is huge! I haven't seen a coffee shop this big in a while! Friendly staff, they constantly checked on the customers sitting outside , and had a good attitude. Stopped in here on a Saturday night craving a bold delicious coffee after a BBQ. This location is in a very nice strip mall type area. The decor and ambience is super chill and inviting. I've been to the location in Pinecrest and was impressed with the presentation and the flavor, so I had high expectations. Today I tried their Hot Peppermint Mocha cappuccino (a holiday special). It had freshly crushed peppermint candy sprinkled as a top layer that mixes with the bold coffee, steamed milk and chocolate really well. There's plenty of seating inside and out, including a comfy couch which I enjoyed. Service was good too - they bring your coffee to your table, it's all freshly made, takes a couple mins but not too long. Worth every penny, definitely a place to treat myself that I want to do more of...haha. read more

Finally made it to Crema! We went around 10:30am, not a big crowd and we were able to order quickly. The guy taking our order was really nice, had a smile and had good energy. We got a seat outside under the covered patio. The avacado toast was really good, just wish the bread was a little more toasty but it had great flavor. The iced hazelnut latte was refreshing and the mason jar mug was a good touch. Went shopping in the plaza and came back around 1:00 ish and it was a bit more packed! This Crema is located in Davie in the popular plaza right off of 595 on University Dr. I love coming to Crema locations to meet up with friends, grab a matcha or lunch, and even get some work done. I finally got to visit this location with a friend and hang out + get some work done for the day. I adore how big this Crema feels with a lot of seating and outlets all around. They have both small tables and big ones and a lot of seating to fit all preferences, from couch/booths to chairs. When I come here, I usually get the matcha latte and this time was no different. They have two different sizes for their lattes and teas (16 & 20 oz) and a lot of different flavorings. In my iced matcha, I got the vanilla and lavender and it did not disappoint. Here I'm thinking it's going to be something special about this turkey sandwich well I quickly found out it was a turkey sandwich I could've made at home, nothing special about it and I was still hungry after I finished it. I went with a friend and spend probably $50+ for breakfast for 2 people. Sorry but for this very simple sandwiches I don't think they're worth this price. Maybe I should've ordered something else from the menu but just wasn't sure what else would've been good to order. If I was to go back it would only be for the latte and not sure I'd order any food or maybe I'd try something different. The menu looks great with all day breakfast items, salads, bowls, Etc I ordered the tuna poke Bowl which comes with edamame, avocado and greens, unfortunately the tuna had a very fishy taste I brought it back up to the counter and either a waiter or manager approached me asked me what was wrong. He said we caught our tuna fresh every morning. And I explained that while it may be fresh it tastes very fishy. He asked what I wanted and I said either salmon or chicken and of course he gave me the chicken becausr it's cheap. The Roasted Chicken was very dry almost to the point of being dried out, so another disappointment. At least the salad greens and avocado were fresh. Will not eat here again! read more

Crema Gourmet has excellent coffee, good pastries and nice atmosphere, but what I did not like during this last visit is that now they automatically add 15% service charge and the cashier does not say anything about it, so when you go to pay, you only see a screen that says: Add tip, which is misleading, unless the restaurant is keeping all of the Service Charge and employees are not getting any of it. Located in the Tower Shops off 595 & University Drive, this place has been on my list to visit for quite some time thanks to Terri E. I'll just start right off and say, it did not disappoint. The restaurant has plenty of inside and outside seating. Inside is cute and inviting but also very spacious with a variety of seating set ups from tables to couches to arm chairs. We ordered at the counter and they were plenty of treats tempting you as you did. While it was closer to breakfast time, we opted for a more lunch vibe. Thankfully it's served all day. We sat outside and they brought out our beverages first, shortly followed up by the food. My triple matcha latte was as big as my head. It had good matcha flavor and not overly sweet which is a win in my book. Definitely gave the energy to get through the day (and then some). For the food, the beet salad was delicious and the dressing was unique in the best most complimentary way. Will definitely have to order that in the future. The tuna salad sandwich was fresh and tasty, not overly mayoed (just made that word up) which I appreciate. Staff was attentive and checked on us a couple times while we ate and even brought out to go containers when they noticed us slowing down. As you walk up to the corner unit in the plaza there are probably fifty outside chairs with many tables with people conversing while eating and drinking coffee. As I open the front door, it is enormous inside and very open planned. A giant pink sign is on the back wall saying, "All Day Everyday". The coffe pastry bar is massive against the left wall woth several employees brewing hot coffee and tending to patrons...Comfy couches and chairs throughout. The place is simply visually amazing. Ordered egg feta tomato omelette and a hot coffee. Sat in the outside patio. A server bought out the food in about ten minutes. The food was incredible. Banana Chocolate Pancakes looked crazy good. I'm thankful for the generous amount of smoked salmon in my sandwich because I've been to places where I'd pay $18+ for a sandwich and barely get any protein in it. It's nothing out of this world. I was neither impressed nor depressed eating at Crema. A chain found all over south Florida, I had had this one in my bookmarks for awhile. You essentially order at the counter and then they give you a little stand with a number. They eventually bring the food out to you. He had a breakfast sandwich with a side of potatoes. I ordered the avocado toast. Got him a can of Coke and some sparkling water. Me? Well, I'm a coffee addict and ordered the largest cappuccino they had. He said to me that the breakfast sandwich was quite filling, but that it could've been warmer. It seemed they toasted the outside but not so much the inside of it if that makes any sense. The potatoes, which I eventually tried, were a bit too seasoned for my taste. I feel they went overboard with the pepper. Much can be said about the avocado toast. The avocado toast that was hearty and with red pepper flakes, well, it was just salty. I still don't know how it's possible, but salt overtook spice. I couldn't finish this dish for the life of me. There's also the fact that it was difficult to cut. Either give proper knives or expect to eat like a barbarian. I got fed up trying to cut and just put the toast in my mouth. The coffee at least was lovely. It was Ily, which is an amazing Italian espresso brand and they brewed it just right. I paid an extra $1 for almond milk as my creamer. It was not brought out with my coffee. It was brought out after I mentioned I needed my creamer I paid for. The open faced breakfast sandwich is ok. The bread is enormous for what they put on top of it. Gourmet? Hardly. It has lettuce and a half of a sliced tomato on the side. Not really sure what this is for? No dressing. I think it's more of a plate filler. The fruit bowl was good but had bananas in the bottom. My daughter is allergic to bananas. Bananas are generally not in a fruit bowl. Seasonal fruit? Seems like a way to just put whatever they want in a bowl. Beware ** this restaurant charges 15% automatically for a "service charge". You walk up, order and they bring food to your table. Went here for an afternoon drink and snack with my friend. I ordered a chai tea latte. They asked me the type of milk that I wanted and I said almond. Then I noticed that the price was a dollar more than the listed price. I asked about it and the associate said that anything other than dairy milk or half-and-half is an add-on. I thought that was a little strange because (1), most cafes don't charge extra for that, and (2), she didn't tell me that until I asked. They have a menu on the wall behind the counter, and I didn't see the add-on listed. My friend ordered an avocado toast, and the bread was soggy. It is supposed to be avocado toast , not avocado bread. My chai tea latte had a nice presentation with the foam design and it tasted good.
