I wanted something different for lunch and The Lookout happened to be in the area where I was driving. I'm not a golfer, I've golfed and I've been to the driving range but it's just not for me! However, I have found out some of the best food is served at golf courses. Since I was eating solo I sat at the bar. The menu was intriguing and I had to give some thought as to what I wanted to try. I knew I wanted a sandwich or burger so I went back and forth between the Club Sandwich, the French Dip, Pulled Pork, and the burgers. I finally decided I'm at The Lookout why not just go with the signature Lookout Burger. It was delicious, the smoky bacon stuck out the most along with the pimento cheese! The burger was nice and juicy. The only negative was the bun! It just didn't hold up to the burger. The fries were good as I asked for them to be crispy! I sat in front of a fully stocked bar but this was only a lunch break and I had to return to work. Madison was the person behind the bar and she was delightful! After I finished and she brought the tab we discussed best options for lunch, her top choice was the French Dip. That being one of my favorite sandwiches I must return to try it out! This being a golf course restaurant one would naturally see a lot of the golf theme. However, you don't have to golf to enjoy some good food! I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

Went on a Friday night at 5 PM to catch the end of happy hour! It was not super crowded and the outside seating was open which is what we were hoping for. The wait service outside was iffy, the woman that was serving us was the bartender so I totally understand how she had a heavy load that night. However, the food and drinks were spectacular and also had a great price attached to them. I think this might be my new summer spot!

I was not sure what to expect when going here, but was delighted by the outcome. Service was impeccable. This will be our go to place on those days we are looking for a great patio. We split the loaded tator tots. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with a side salad. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with a side salad. All really good. Portions were so large, we had leftovers. I also ordered the drink victory lap. It was good but it needed a tad more tequila. I'm interested in returning for their happy hour M-F, 3-6.

Such a fun little spot! Nice view of the course while you eat, and they had my fav flavor of Truly, watermelon. For two drinks and our meals the cost was $50ish including tip. Reasonable for 2024, we thought. Service was good too, brought our food fast and super friendly. We'll be back!

They did an amazing job. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and a wonderful view overlooking the course. Patio tables for with fire pits for nice days. The shrimp tacos are amazing. That bacon jam is lip licking good. We also ordered pretzels, club sandwich, fries and tomato bisque. Everything was great. We will definitely be back again. And again.

Bread pudding at Kicking Bird's The Lookout. I love to try the bread pudding at new restaurants and this one's a good, very chocolatie. I had the French Dip sandwich which was quite good. Loved the onion straws on it. Service was exceptional.

Three seats at the bar provided us with the best view of the games on the TVs, Diedre C as our bartender, and some of the best service ever. I had read about the Lookout and knew that it is owned by the same group that owns The Mule in OKC and Edmond. So, going into this experience I knew it had to be great. We started with Chips, Queso, and Salsa then moved on to our entrees: a Pulled Pork Sandwich (from the menu---Brioche bun, smoked pulled pork, haystack fried onions, American cheese, BBQ sauce, Cole slaw, cherry pepper relish) and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap (again, from the menu---Spinach tortilla, fried buffalo chicken, lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, bleu cheese. All of us ordered a side of fried Okra. The food is amazing. The view of the golf course is beautiful. There's a quick stop area attached to The Lookout called The Turn that can take care of you when you are rushing to get back to the back nine.

If you don't order the steak you missed something great. Great place. When possible I eat lunch on the patio overlooking the golf course.

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. We have tried most every place in Edmond and NW OKC and there are several very fine places to be sure. But, we finally tried Press & Plow and could not be more impressed. The dish was seasoned with just the right balance of Tabasco, cayenne and salt. Balance is another attribute that not everyone can do well. And price is inline with most everyone else. We had an excellent server who was knowledgeable about ingredients since we had a picky eater with us. I ended up with the meal that had a biscuit with gravy, 3 eggs, and potatoes. Picky eater ordered a meal that also had 3 eggs and ended up his eggs got on my plate, which we didn't realize until we'd started eating. It wasn't a big deal, just my eggs were a little underdone and his a little over done. The peppers on the potatoes have a little kick and the gravy as well. It was all really tasty, but if you're heat sensitive, you might want to watch out or ask some questions first. I tried the apple butter and strawberry jam and they were both very yummy, although I preferred the apple butter. Their biscuits are not small and they gave a good portion of potatoes and then having 3 eggs, made for quite a big meal, but it worked out since we planned on that being kind of brunch to last us through the day until our evening meal.
