I've been going here for 10+ years. They are always consistent with their food and service. I wanted to highlight how accommodating their are with a large family (7 adults and 2 babies). We had no reservation and they said no problem. Previously that night, we got denied at another restaurant nearby because we couldn't sit at two nearby tables within the same section. So, we were very happy that they were able to move chairs and tables for us on short notice. The hostesses were great and our waitress was amazing too. Our server was very competent....trying to upsell us on everything from cocktails to appetizers to desserts, to food to go... I got the short smoked salmon and it was good but a bit too salty for my taste. The vegetables were nicely prepared and the house salad was delicious. I have eaten at Charleston's many locations in OKC and I have to say, have never had a bad meal. I decided to sit at the bar on a rainy Monday afternoon and take advantage of their happy hour. The bartender named Ethan was very professional and helpful, great service. He let me try a taste of the wine and look at the bottles before I ordered. I went with the Pinot Noir and ordered the grilled chicken club. Everything was delicious, even if the fries were a little cold. I love that they put sprouts on the sandwich. I also highly recommend their Caesar with salmon, which I have enjoyed on a previous visit. The inside of the restaurant is lovely. I was pleasantly surprised by the 80s rock playing at the bar. Overall, this is a favorite spot to stop in when I know I won't have a bad meal. Highly recommended, definitely a staple of Oklahoma City. read more

The Hawaiian Ribeye is AMAZING! My husband and I ordered medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. The service is attentive, and not just your waiter, but EVERYONE working. Refills were consistent. Finished plates were scooped up in an instant. Wait time was paced very well. Jason the manager is very kind and we adored our server Taylor! I was in Edmond to meet friends for lunch. Charleston's was suggested and I haven't been in ages, so I was happy to go give it a go. We were seated right away with a group of 6. Our server was great and the food came out quickly. The club salad was very fresh and filled with delicious crispy chicken, avocado, bacon, egg, tomato, croutons, and served with a super tasty ranch. It came with a flaky honey butter croissant that was to die for. I loved it. I really enjoy Charleston's as a staple restaurant. My only complaint is that their prices continue to increase. I used to love going to happy hour because they had half price appetizers. Now you get a whole $2 off. Now that I do not have a special reason to go, coming here definitely does not come to mind as often. Service is still good and food is enjoyable. For this trip I had the happy hour martini, which is still $8, we split the spinach artichoke dip, and split the chicken club sandwich. I added a Cesar salad. read more

One of our favorite restaurants. The food is always good. My medium rare filet is always cooked perfectly. Adding anchovies to the Cesar salad makes it perfect. Service is always top notch. It is always clean & everyone is always friendly. Tonight was the first time my dirty vodka martini wasn't good, it tasted like Gin or maybe too much vermouth but our waitress took it back & returned with a great dirty vodka martini. After a long day at work I just could not even think about cooking dinner tonight. Charleston's was our immediate choice because we haven't been here in such a long time. As always the food was delicious. My salad was so good that I didn't even need the dressing. The same was true of my daughter's salad. The white sangria was great as well. The chicken fried chicken with fried okra and loaded baked potato was my main dish, the chicken was crispy and the dish good overall. Charleston's has become our Go To date night place. We found ourselves there again this week. I'm not sure we have ever had even a questionable meal there. My hubby loves the BARBEQUE BABY BACK RIBS and I love the SHORT SMOKED SALMON meal the salmon has always been cooked fantastic (and I'm an Oregon Coast girl who's picky about how you make your fish!!). The mustard sauce is mild and lovely, doesn't overpower the fish and is a nice compliment. The SHRIMP SCAMPI Pasta is another favorite. And, let me just say, the DYNAMITE SHRIMP is just that! So good, and its actually a good sized portion. The ambience of the dining area is nice. Not super bright but not super dark either. Nice booths, comfortable surroundings. It could feel very classy if staff just had a little more polish (not a knock on them AT ALL they are great and casual and you will be pleased with them, just not "fancy" level) and other diners didn't show up in sweats lol but, I guess that's an Oklahoma thing ;) We've also sat in the bar area at a mini booth and it is a little louder in there but nice too. On the times we have had cocktails they have been well poured and enjoyable. Charleston's is a solid choice to spend your dining or date night dollars. Believe me, our budget categories in there are quite limited, so, we are pretty picky about where we will go. If you've never been, give it a shot! The food selection never disappoints. We had the champagne salad and the Caesar with added chicken. The tortilla soup is not broth based and instead of tortilla strips they use chips. Two types of cheese in the soup so if you don't care for too much cheese, ask for it on the side. The water served continues to taste like Clorox. I venture to say that the cleaner/disinfectant spray they use is landing in the ice maker and the ice cubes are contaminated. The service was outstanding with Ariel and her helper making a so-so lunch experience a wonderful one. Charleston's is my go-to when I want an expertly prepared steak that's always cooked as requested. Man I love this place. Every single time we visit, they cook my steak right, which is more than I can say for other places that are actual full-on steakhouses that I've tried. Charleston's is literally the only place that I can go to get a well-done steak cooked appropriately and not either cooked to death or drastically undercooked. The chefs are on it here! I always order the filet mignon well-done, with a topper of grilled onions and mushrooms. I get the glazed carrots, and instead of the salad that accompanies the meal, I order mashed potatoes. Let me tell you, it is MOUTH WATERING! Add a side of creamy horseradish and you're in business! The waitstaff are friendly and efficient. The food is fantastic! Visiting from San Francisco, Charleston's was recommended by local family members. They feared it might be too loud or too crowded for a Saturday lunch. It was neither. The menu is pretty straight forward, with tasty looking salads. I opted for the fried catfish platter, which was -- hands down -- the best catfish I've ever had. The sides of Cole slaw (renowned) and carrots (highly touted and swapped for the fries on the menu) were outstanding. But the catfish will stick in my memory. Don't miss it! read more

I have spent my money with Charleston's restaurant for over 20 years, at least twice a week and I've never had this bad of service. The bartender noticed me quietly praying before I ate my meal and from that second on it was very shitty service. I guess Edmond and Charleston's are too far left for Christians. beware.
