[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the atmosphere at Cremini, besides the delicious food & wine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything is fresh, handmade and the menu includes many classic dishes from Marche, Italy. Elena e Riccardo are lovely and make you feel at home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My friends and I (8 ppl) were seated in the back room, that only has one large table, and it felt like a private party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And there is a beautiful backyard, for al fresco dining![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love Cremini and highly recommend it!

Unique menu, very unusual items. The restaurant's namesake dessert, the Cremini, are a delicious item probably available nowhere else in America. However, there is a big problem here. The sweet cream dessert is fried in the same oil as the fried olives stuffed with beef. As a result, the dessert tasted like olives and beef. Nasty, truth be told. What is wrong with restauranteurs? If you are too stingy to have two separate fryers or won't change the oil, you will have to deal with customers who reveal the truth. Unfortunately, everything here is better in Italy.

We have dined at Cremini's twice, and both visits were SPECTACULAR. They offer the cuisine and wines of Le Marche, which is on the Adriatic side of Italy, and is rarely presented by Italian American restaurants. The owners of Cremini are welcoming hosts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have both indoor seating and a delightful garden.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have been winning awards! Don't miss a chance to visit and say Ciao

This restaurant has become mine and my boyfriend's new favorite place. The food is absolutely divine and not at all like your traditional Italian restaurant. The sandwich with truffle cream is a MUST. Not to mention their wide selection of Spritz that I need to go back and try. The ambiance makes it the perfect place to go for a date night or family night, and is run by the sweetest people. They delivered top tier service and I honestly think I will soon become a regular from how often we've been going-and every time they are consistent in bringing only the best out to the table.

Amazing!!!! Everything was great ,an amazing Sunday Easter with nice and friendly owners at Cremini in Brooklyn.Elena and her husband moved 3 yrs ago from Italy and they brought with them the best cooking tradition of Le Marche . Our choice was :Olive ascolane ,( the best I ever had!!)fried fettuccine,Lasagna Vincisgrassi, cacio e pepe with truffle and cremini but we'll definitely be back for more ! We had a very nice conversation about how they get their products and you can tell how much passion and love the put on their business. Give them a try and support this nice young people to be successful ,they really deserve it !! Great job guys!!

An absolute dream! Rustic, charming and completely authentic. I am so thrilled an Italian resturant dedicated to the Le Marche region cuisine opened in NYC. My grandmother was from a small seaside town in Le Marche and I studied at the Università degli Studi di Urbino. I curiously stopped in for aperitivi with my boyfriend. I had not had or even seen crescia on a menu since I had been in Urbino; I was giddy with nostalgia. We ordered the classic ascolona olives, the classic creminis, pasta "Le Marche" and two spritz. Fantastico! All excellent and delicious. I did feel as if I had been transported to an Italian piazza. Please, please try this place! The menu and food are unique and exciting. Elena and Riccardo are so warm and friendly. Elena said she makes everything from scratch and by hand daily. I even found out Riccardo studied at Urbino, too. They put so much care into the food and the atmosphere. I will be back with my dad and sister, for sure!

A pandemic business trip to Manhattan found me venturing deeper into Brooklyn than normal. It was there I sought out Creminis, a small place I had read about earlier this year. The evening was balmy and I was able to grab one of three outdoor tables ( I think they have room for more if necessary). The owners, Elena and Ricardo, were quick to make sure I was comfortable. And they were eager to engage in conversation about their background, their homeland, their food and their drink - I was easily convinced to chose a chilled red from Ricardo's short but specific wine list. It would be difficult to find nicer, more authentic owners in the city. And you would be hard pressed to experience a more authentic regional Italian menu outside of Le Marche. I opened with a fresh fennel and Mandarine orange salad - as simple and bright as it sounds, almost plate cleansing. The perfect salad for a warm Summer night was followed by one of their Crescias, an in-house, warm flatbread wrapped around soft stratcchino, sopresatta and - my favorite sandwich green - arugula. I don't often order sammies at restaurants - I own a sandwich shop in Boston. But this was a great decision - boy was it good! Elena makes the bread for each order from a homeland recipe. That alone is the best reason to try it. I will return to Cremini to visit with Elena and Ricardo, but next time I will bring my wife - that way we can try a lot more of the menu! I would so love to live in a neighborhood with this kind of cafe, this kind of passion and commitment to food and heritage.

This place does get busy so recommend making reservations if you can. They have a pretty nice wine list to choose from along with different cocktail options. From the start, the food was delicious starting with the house bread which was warm and soft but still felt light. For dinner, I ordered the special for the night which was cacio pepe ravioli, while my husband got the tagliatelle verdi con ragu. Both of our pasta dishes felt extremely fresh. The ravioli was unlike anything Ive had before, with flavorful cacio pepe filling and a butter sauce with pancetta complementing the flavor. The tagliatelle was also delicious in a more ragu centric way, still offering a good balance of flavor. Both dishes were pretty filling and so neither of us could finish it. We ended the night with cannolis, which was a pleasant surprise to find 3 came in 1 order. One side is pistachio while the other had a coco dusting. These were again delicious but pretty filling and sweet so we could only eat one. The staff here was also very friendly and service was quick with food coming out much faster than I expected. Overall I would come back and try even more on their menu.

The bartender was quite friendly, and made me a Piccante (spicy tequila/lime/pineapple situation, with a tajin rim) that was solid. My wife wasn't too hungry, so we only ordered a couple items to share. The Insalata Marzamemi (quinoa, avocado, greens, seared tuna and more), and the ossobuco agnolotti. They brought us some complimentary rosemary bread and oil to dip it. I'm not one to look free bread in the mouth (I think that's the saying), but it was not my favorite bread service. Both the bread and the oil needed salt. But it was warm, and I appreciated the gesture. The salad and pasta were far better. Both were surprisingly large portions for the price (this is NYC in 2026), and paired quite well together. The salad was piled high with fresh ingredients, and there was a nice sear on the tuna. It was only a couple of dollars more than the Greek salad, and a steal. The ossobuco agnolotti with its pecorino fondue and veal sauce was rich, and quite filling. There were at least a 15 of the filled pasta pockets, and well worth the price. All in all, a solid stop for some good portions of Italian food at a good price.

I can't say enough great things about the decor the ambience and imagining all of the past goings on in this restaurant. It's been watching over Brooklyn for well over 100 years now! That in itself is a Herculean feat! From what I was told it was very popular with the mob as they say... And that's why the kitchen which is at the very back of the restaurant has full glass windows so that you can see exactly what's going on in there. I guess some of these mob guys were paranoid and rightly so consider considering their history. I arrived with my friend on a Wednesday evening about 6 PM and there were some scattered tables but by 7 PM it was mobbed (pun intended ) in there!! our waiter was affable and patient and a quite enjoyable fellow. As a sidenote, you will not find any female servers they are all male which l lends to the old school vibe in my opinion. My friend ordered the lamb chops with broccoli Rabe. He enjoyed them but did mention that though they had great flavor one of them was slightly tough... It happens... My meal was pasta with Bolognese sauce with a dollop of fresh ricotta on top. It was delicious actually the sauce was excellent. I would've liked to have a different pasta shape but they did not have it. No biggie. Rating: 3.5/5 I…read morediscovered this restaurant on Instagram as one of the top Italian restaurants in NYC, so I decided to try it. It appeared to be family-owned in Williamsburg and consistently drew a large crowd throughout the day and night. Upon entering, I noticed the restaurant was keen to maximize seating, with diners placed very close to one another. The restaurant appeared to have a very old-school vibe; maybe that was the theme they were going for? The food ordered was: 1. Calamari - They weren't overly fried or coated with breading. Tender, and not rough. Flavorful enough; no sauce was needed (although it was included). A good appetizer. 2. Rigatoni with vodka sauce - Maybe it's my taste buds, but I thought the sauce lacked seasoning and flavor overall. The pasta was cooked well (al dente), but the lack of flavor from the sauce ruined the dish. I was really excited about this dish! 3. Cavatelli with Bolognese Sauce - I've had bolognese sauce before, & this dish was just weird. It felt like they just did it within 5 minutes of cooking time, & it was something you could've just made at home yourself with a jar of Prego sauce. It also lacked seasoning. 4. Chicken Parmigiana - I'm a huge chicken parmigiana fan, and I feel like it's always a must if you eat at any Italian restaurant. This dish was well seasoned, not overly fried, not heavily covered with cheese, and smothered in a good amount of sauce. The chicken wasn't dry either; it was tender. Weird part was it was served with a side of string beans & potatoes, not pasta. This was one of the best dishes of the night. 5. Chicken Marsala - Just like the chicken parmigiana, the chicken was tender & wasn't dry. It's easy to overcook chicken becoming dry, but the two chicken dishes weren't. Very flavorful & a good amount of mushrooms added for garnish. Same with the chicken parm, string beans & potato's as a side and not pasta. 6. Linguine with White Clam Sauce - I'm allergic to shellfish, so I did not try this dish, but my table said it was good. Overall, I thought the food would've been better. The pricing to food portion ratio did not correlate. It's a little on the pricey side for the amount of food you'd get, but maybe it's because of the rent since it is Williamsburg? Another thing, just like another reviewer mentioned, I felt my table was rushed out the door. We weren't even finished eating and we could feel they were eyeing the table (I was with a large party). The waiter who served my table, whose name I didn't catch, was friendly and polite though. Anyways, this is my take on this restaurant. Maybe this is how old school Italian restaurants are supposed to be & in terms of food too. Tip: Reservation recommended for dining in
