I advised I called ahead of time to get the price so I would be able to shop around for best prices nearby. The gentleman (DAVE) was very rude. I said when a customer calls you should advise of correct price so a decision could be made before bringing the vehicle to have the work done, his response was " you can make the decision now and not have it done!" Very unprofessional! I told him I drove 31 minutes because they were the cheapest out of three I called and didn't have time to go anywhere else! I would never recommend anyone to visit this shop! I have never met someone so rude!! Oh, he's also the MANAGER!!! He then comes out and asks me a second time if I wanted him to dispose the spare tire, I told him several times "no" when he checked me in! Again these are questions that need to be asked when scheduling an appointment. Also when I told him I had to go to work, I believe that purposely took their time!!

I understand having problems or issues arise that aren't serious / noticeable yet, but having a list of urgent problems every time I come in for an overpriced oil change is suspicious. Dave (manager) is apathetic and seems to have zero regard for customer care or loyalty. I previously gave this place 5 stars from a visit where I only dealt with the assistant manager Pat, who actually cares and talks to customers with respect and understanding.

Now tell me why just after picking the car up and hitting the highway the car begins to smoke under the hood on the highway. Pulled over and engine oil everywhere in my engine from the oil cap area. Oil leaked on the frame, alternator, exhaust and even on the side of the road I pulled over at. It was right at 6pm so nobody picked the office line when I called back. So, I called corporate office just to get my car towed to them and the agent I talked to pretty much told me. I had to pay out of pocket or go through my insurance to get car towed to them because they don't offer that service. and since I don't have tow package on my insurance and didn't have money to tow to them, my car was going to sit where it was. that agent was very rude and tried to talk down on me. They almost ruin my engine...please stay away!!

Jim, at AAMCO, was very patient and listened closely to my concerns and I left it there one day and got it back the next day. They drove it and checked it over and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and the car drives beautifully. If it ever shows an engine light or blinking green light around "D" I will immediately take it back to Jim and his team at AAMCO. I would give 10 stars if it was available. February 12, 2020 the truck was dropped off at Aamco because of some noise that seemed to be coming from the transmission. The transmission has less than 19,000 normal miles on it, it wasn't used to pull a trailer, or loaded heavy. Aamco's estimate for the repair was $3600! I have the warranty 36 months/50,000 miles. They made no effort to contact their supplier in an attempt to make a case for what is obviously a poorly remanufactured transmission, for that matter there were no alternatives offered except the repair. The new transmission was the primary reason I purchased the truck, engine runs flawlessly. The review guidelines would not allow a 1 star rating. A $4738 transmission got me 19,630 miles. You can decide if you want to take your vehicle there.
