I'm a bit confused because the customer service is consistently excellent, but the food hasn't been matching that same level. I'm not sure if it was because they were close to closing at 10, but that still doesn't justify serving unseasoned food. I really want to love this place because the vibe and service are there--I just hope the food quality becomes more consistent.

We came on a Sunday so it was pretty full with the after church crowd. But we were still severed timely. You can order yourself at the kiosk or with the server. He told me no because the owner says the dishes should be eaten how they come. I immediately looked at him and asked, "Are you serious?" and he stated he was. I have a hard time being told no over something simple when I'm spending my money, especially for an easy side swap. It just felt unnecessarily rigid. At that point I almost left, but I'd already walked there and spent about 10 minutes looking over the menu, so I stayed. Food-wise though? The dish was good. The crawfish étouffée had solid flavor, and it also came with a nicely fried catfish filet, which I enjoyed. Good lunch, ate almost all of it (except that damn potato salad. I tasted it though, wasn't nothing to write home about). One thing to note: the place can be a little hard to find if you look for it on Texas Ave. There's a more visible entrance off Main that makes it easier without having to wander into the Binz building.
