Michelin-recognized restaurateur Mawa McQueen has done it again with Crêpe Therapy Café in Boulder, CO. Now you can experience her amazing food just a short drive from Denver. This spot isn't just about delicious crêpes -- it's about creating space to pause, breathe, and reset. The concept of "permission to pause" truly shines through, from the calm atmosphere to the thoughtful menu. I stopped by during their opening festivities, and it was a full celebration. The Golden Buffalo Marching Band, champagne sabering, and dancing brought incredible energy to the event. What I tried: * Parisian Crêpe: Gruyere & Swiss, jambon de Paris, honey Dijon mustard sauce * Boulder Crêpe: Gruyere & Swiss, rotisserie chicken, basil pesto, mushrooms * Citrus Confidential Crêpe: Yuzu lemon curd, blueberry compote, powdered sugar * Butter croissant and ham & cheese croissant Best bite: The Boulder Crêpe was perfection. The basil pesto tied everything together beautifully, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. If you're in Boulder--or even if you're not--this is absolutely worth the drive.

Delicious crepes. They have a wide range of crepes from sweet to savoury, and there's definitely a flavour for everyone. We tried a savoury and sweet one, and the sweet one was really tasty. Their drinks are good too!

Such a cute cafe, spacious with seating! I ordered the savory Boulder crepe which was delicious. Very pesto-y, so you better like pesto, and hearty with the chicken and mushroom, and comforting with the oozing cheese. Lots of vegan options as well, and of course the sweet crepes to try next time.

    Nutella crepe.

A little bit of heaven on a plate! Yummy crepes with just about any topping you would want! Staff are super friendly!! Crepes Therapy is definitely a go to for me now!!

    Custom Savory Crepe

This place is awesome. I got a custom savory crepe with chicken, ham, bacon, Gruyère and Swiss, mustard, and horseradish sauce. It was amazing! Very generous on the fillings. For my sweet crepe, I got the velvet crush. Wow! I've never had a red velvet crepe before, but I'm sure glad I have now! I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Service wasn't awesome. Food was alright but way overpriced for what you get. Cute place though.

With a classy and modern feel to it, Crêpe Therapy Café is definitely one of my favorite spots. Whether it's a meal, dessert, or coffee, I feel like I've always got options there (not to mentions the various vegan/ gluten free options!) everything is made with the best quality, and tastes like it too. 10/10!

Crepe was literally served raw, took a bite of literal mush. Was really excited and the atmosphere was cool but geez that was disappointing.

The crepe was tasteless and the so-called savory ingredients were minimal. So overpriced! The tables were tiny and we could not spread out.

Good food. But. The staff seem mistreated and the vibe was so bad. Felt very awkward and overpriced.

Wife N. and I make the trip out here from Portland OR each year for a few days of getaway and…read morebasically eat our way around Fort Collins and Denver. This fine sunny and warm Sunday morning found us hopping in (again, we came last year) to La Crêperie to fight the crêpe withdrawals--it's been too long. Interior is very "Parisian cafe", period art, TVs showing videos of the pastry chefs doing their thing. She ordered a hot chocolate to start, and a Parisian crêpe (berries, whip cream, raspberry coulis). I ordered a galette (think square envelope-crêpe) from the savory side. I'd had it last visit and had been looking forward to a redux. I ordered the Professeur Steve, capers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach and brie, which arrived with smoked salmon arranged like a rose at opposing corners (keeps it cold). Oh man, this brie-gooing mushroomy sweet-caramelly onion spinach umami explosion goes perfectly taken in a bite with the salmon. Addiction sated; withdrawals saved off until next June's visit. Wife's crêpe was delicious--everything sweet-toothers love. Hot chocolate is real. Like not from a packet but from a chocco chunk and paid labor somewhere nearby. Whipped cream was real, and thick enough that it could have been sliced and served on its own. Absolutely freaking delicious. Love this place. See you in a year!

With trepidation due to mixed reviews, we set out to La Creperie to satisfy my croissant craving…read more However, no worries--it was all good. Some of the parking is for the liquor store and is signed as such, leaving not a lot of room for eaters to park. We parallel parked on the side street. The woman who greeted us wasn't overly friendly, just business-like, and took us directly to our table. No waiting for us, but it was a July weekday, 10 am. It was busy, but not packed. There were two outdoor seating areas, as well. Our server, Monica, was kind and helpful when answering questions from us old folks. Prompt and attentive was her style, though not overly so. Husband ordered an omelet with meat, which was good, not exceptional. I had a croissant with real butter and great raspberry jam. And fresh slices of avocado as a side order. Croissant was flaky on outside and soft and somewhat airy on the inside, so I fell in love. I drank an unremarkable bagged Earl Grey tea with milk, and my dear enjoyed two Americanos. They serve Lavazza coffee, which I regret not ordering. Afterwards I decided there was too much water in my mug for the little tea bag hence my poor tea experience. Perhaps an additional bag or a smaller cup would've helped. Anyway, it all arrived beautifully and promptly. The decor is slightly cute, though a bit overly decorated (busy) for my taste, but I liked the butter-yellow paint color, and I appreciated the wood furniture instead of metal or plastic. Enjoyed the red and white checked curtains. So overall, it's almost cozy. I despise sitting shoulder to shoulder in restaurants and will walk out if that's how tables are arranged. But that wasn't an issue here. Yay. Also, the woman in the bakery section was nice. Leave your house now and enjoy your trip to La Creperie. Eat a croissant for me, okay?

My friend had the prosciutto fig and Bri sandwich, she absolutely loved it, it was too much to eat all of it so she took it home! But there is a but! You get 1/2 off the crêpe if you order a sandwich, which is really a great deal, of course if you are craving something a little sweet after you eat! So my dear friend engaged in a very yummy crêpe with caramelized, apples and cinnamon, which we all got to taste..yum! Our coffee was delicious. I stopped for a Honey Rose iced latte before my stroll around the park, and was pleased by how flavorful it was. Service was quick, and luckily I got my drink before the morning Sunday rush I saw after me. The only downside was the price. Almost $8 for my medium drink, granted I opted for the $1 oat milk replacement instead of their typical whole milk. But the most surprising thing the pre-added "service charge" of 15% which the front register girl tried to hide on the screen when she turned it around to me for a signature. She initially showed me the screen without it, but then said she forgot something and added that to the tab. I think transparency with these forced gratuities/tips/charges would be great to prevent these surprise encounters, especially with to-go orders. Other than that, I do like the vibe of this place and would find it to be a good quick stop if you're craving a coffee or small bite.
