    4 Ingredients Omelette

Came here with a few of my sorority sisters for breakfast. It was so cute and the owner was super personable. She even spoke French with one of my sisters. I had the 4 Ingredient Omelette with the Iced Tea. It was so good and so were the French fries. It was my first time in Boulder but I would totally come back to eat here.

First of all, the owner of this shop is beyond charming and makes you feel so welcome. She is delightful. I immediately wished she had time to sit at my table and chat. She doesn't, because the cafe is packed and rightfully so. The food is delicious! I had the savoyarde crepe, a buckwheat crepe with potatoes, prosciutto and raclette. I adore raclette cheese. This dish is luscious. The salad on the side is light and fresh. I had a fruit tart with vanilla custard on the side. The cafe is clean and bright, with both indoor and outdoor seating. I want to come back and try everything!

Looking for French food, look no further! Fantastic place for brunch or lunch. Order at the counter and they bring your food and drink to your table. Staff are very friendly and accommodating - helpful with any request. Seating is available inside and out, with some outdoor seating shaded. Egg breakfast was more food than I could eat. Would have preferred swapping out fries for fruit but no matter, couldn't have eaten it anyway. We got some pastries to go and wow, they were fantastic. We ate them the same day even though the intention was breakfast tomorrow.

Super cute place. They set you and then you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. 3 of us shared quiche Lorraine, and an Olivia crepe. Perfect afternoon snack. Service was great. They are so helpful and offer great suggestions.

Adorable. Delicious. Charming. GREAT food. The service was speedy - right to your table. You enter ... they give you a table number (in French if you speak French!) and you order at counter ... then sit! Table service ! No rush. Relaxed and peaceful. The outdoor patio was not crowded together at all. Could chat and not worry being overheard and couldn't hear table-neighbor convo either. Local charm with extra added delicious! We had paninis. Salad. Fries. Latte. Lemon crepe. Fruit tarts. All spectacular. Can't wait to come back!!!!

We had such a great experience at Le French Café in Boulder! It's a cozy, charming little spot. We ordered the Brest sandwich on a croissant, the chicken and spinach omelette, and a Nutella crêpe--and everything was delicious. The croissant was buttery and flaky, the omelette was fresh and flavorful, and the crêpe hit the spot--sweet, light, and just the right amount of indulgent. What really stood out, though, was the vibe. The owner is incredible--so happy, warm, and welcoming. She greeted everyone with a big smile, and you could tell she genuinely loves what she does. The service was quick and friendly, and it made the whole experience even better. This is our must stop spot every time we visit Boulder.

Great lunch after a little shopping at REI around the corner. Restaurant is cute, with colored chairs and some indoor and outdoor seating. Service was 5 stars. They greeted us and seated us at a table. Then you go up the counter to order. While taking our order the woman was very nice, wishing us a happy women's day and chatting with us. My almond joy latte was also 5 stars. I got the smoked salmon crepe which was pretty good. They also came around and checked on us a few times.

We're visiting from Utah and didn't know what to expect food wise from Boulder. To say I'm overjoyed is an understatement. Le French Cafe is a gem! I had a delicious crustless quiche and a raisin roll, both were amazing! The rest of my party enjoyed their food as well. A lovely French woman came around greeting everyone and is just an absolute ray of sunshine. The ambience is perfection as well. We will be back!

After trying their pastries for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I decided it was about time that I give them a try for lunch--boy was this a bad decision. Don't get me wrong, the pastries were tasty, but for the price, they're just not worth it. I'd rather go to another bakery where the pastries aren't small and the quality and taste are much better. A better bang for your buck. Lunch was a huge mistake. Honestly, this place wasn't my first choice, but it just so happened that my #1 pick for the day turned out to be a disappointment too. Any who, I ordered a crepe with Swiss cheese, leeks, and tomatoes, and opted for the buckwheat crepe and fries as the side--the whole thing lacked flavor, except for one bite that was super salty, so I ended up leaving half of my food. On a more positive note, the fries were hot, but they needed salt. On a scale of 1-10, the food was a 3, in my opinion. I'm glad that I tried this cafe, but I definitely won't be returning or recommending.

Incredible spot for breakfast in Boulder. Open early for all your French cuisine needs! We had a croissant bacon Swiss and cheese that was delightfully paired with French fries. The lemon and sugar crepe was tart and soft and yummy! Coffee, of course was amazing! Agnes is a bright light of hospitality and joy! The chocolate almond croissant and raspberry mini croissant were both a perfect end to the meal. Love love love this spot. 80s music also was a hit!

This is a lovely place to have some delicious brunch. If you are looking for a new brunch place with lighter non American dishes, you will love it. We ordered the smoked salmon baguette, berrichons, and a salter caramel crepe. All are amazing but the crepe was a pleasant surprise. The caramel was a little bitter and not too sweet, very much an acquired taste to fall in love with after a few bites. One thing to be aware is that they are very popular, so make sure you get yourself in line before you get too hungry.

A standout detail is that all their flavorings and syrups are made in-house, which really elevates the drinks. You can even buy small bottles of their syrups in-store. Service Service is quick and friendly. The baristas are especially helpful in explaining pastries and flavor profiles, which makes it easier to try something new. Ambience The cafe has a vintage cottage, cozy vibe with plenty of nooks and crannies -- perfect for both conversation or getting some work done. I was early for a pickup nearby and was so hoping the famous cinnamon roll would still be here…read more It's been sold a few times since Scott and Sally retired. The newer owners had simply not kept it "original" and faultless as it had been since the Creevy's opened in 1983. And yes, I was there then. When I walked in, it felt and smelled like the past. The cinnamon rolls were on a display table right out front and cleanly wrapped. They looked just like they used to. I picked a standard cinnamon as the walnut raisin is a lot more expensive than it used to be ( aside is everything in the world) but often more unpredictable in baked goodness since the store was sold the first time. As soon as I got home, I shared some with my husband though he had not been the cinnamon roll addict, I had been. Unvleievably, it was like stepping back in time. Scott and Sally would be proud of this iteration. It may have actually been their own recipe from those early years where individual stores made the basic breads and then branched out for their local market and personal skills. I'm sure so many of these specialty items which I never saw in the few Great Harvests in other states, I ever tried. It's a 5 star item in a place where I will give the shop a 4 for now until I try some other things. The wonderful brownies are on display here too, as well as so many of the cookies and breads I will sample in the future. I will ask next time if they still make the incredible lemon bars which was also a Creevy recipe I believe. It's definitely worth adding back to my shopping options. I see so many of the negative reviews are just for the sandwich service, not the bakery. I am unlikely to use that for so many other options I encounter across Boulder these days are all so reliably good, I cannot abandon them.
