This is now known as Crescent Bar and Grill and while they have cleaned this up, got the riff raff out... and it looks GREAT......I have been there 3 TIMES when they have had their rib specials to get them to go and they were NOT ready. 3 TIMES! Oh well I could come back later but it wouldn't have worked out for me to make a special trip back --- well when you open up at 11 a.m......food should be ready to serve or ready for take out orders. They have the best Taco Tuesday and Wing Wednesday. 2 loaded Taco for $5 and $2 margaritas . Yummy.. Wings are sooo good. A variety of sauces to go with it.. have your sauces on the side Plus the coldest Beer in town. Excellent service. Brooklyn and Cole are right there for drinks. It is a great place to meet your friend. Just a nice place to talk to friendly people who live in town and around the area. They have several TV a and a pool table, with a dart board. read more

Spectacularly awful. My husband, I and 2 friend visited this place on Sunday Nov 19th,2023. The first surprise was that the menu on their website was very inaccurate and they didn't offer hardly anything that was listed there. No steaks, no pulled pork sandwiches. The burgers were comparable to ones you find in a bag at the store in the freezer section. Very over cooked,served luke warm and it took them 45 minutes to deliver them. The menu said they were 8 ounces but I'm skeptical about that fact too. Needless to say I would highly recommend that you avoid this place. I am updating my review to talk about my most recent visit to the Crescent Roadhouse. I have always wanted to try their lunch specials as I spoke with the owner and he raves about them and how cheap they are. I am never able to because I work in Omaha M-F. I had a day off work yesterday so I planned on going there to get some lunch to go. I just looked at my pic of the specials and realized that they aren't necessarily just for lunch, they are actually all day, I believe. So that is great. I called to place a to go order and Jessica was super nice. she answered all of my questions and was nice about it. I asked for the wings in rings special and I had a choice of about 5 sauces, I chose medium for one order and spicy bbq for the other; I ordered one for lunch and one for dinner, (what can I say, I had a day off and I wanted to eat some dang wings!). She told me that each order is only $6! I was really surprised to hear the cost, which is one of the reasons why I got two orders. I take my short, 10 minute drive to Crescent to pick them up and I waited for a few minutes when I got there for the food to be done, no big deal at all as I was probably a few minutes early. Jessica, I believe, rings me up and I'm on my marry way back to my house. I opened one of them up and I was surprised to see how much food I got for only $6; it is a killer deal no matter how you cut it. (I uploaded a pic to their page). The wings were good, they weren't breaded and char-buffed, but that's okay as the wings were still moist and very tasty. the owner told me that they are supposed to be char-buffed so I'l have to come back again and order them when they aren't on special. They could have used more sauce as they were a tad dry. Both sauces tasted pretty good and I really liked the spicy BBQ. The Onion rings are more like onion strings as they were very small and a tad hard to eat, BUT you are eating the wings with your hands so the messy part didn't bother me at all. The onion strings were small and you don't get a lot of them, but the flavor was great. Overall, I really like this place and the owner is a great guy. The prices for the food you get is unbeatable. Can't wait to try out there steak on Monday night sometime! read more

I've been coming to this bar since it was Kiefer's. It's a cheap little bar on the main street in Cresent, which isn't too far from our house. My husband wanted to come here for all-you-can-eat fish during Lent. We got here around 5 on a Friday and there were plenty of seats available. They DO NOT have any beer on tap, which is quite shocking. Nor did they have any IPAs or any selection of dark beer, other than Sam Adams. I settled for a top shelf margarita. The drink was deliciously strong. My husband got the fish and chips and I got pulled pork. Food came out fast and looked delicious. The fries are homemade, which is always a plus. The pulled pork was really tasty and it was paired with a pretty neutral barbecue sauce. I will say compared to other bar/family restaurants, there wasn't quite as much meat, but it was sufficient. Overall the food was good and the drinks were cheap. The downfall is the rundown appearance and the lack of dark beers, IPAs, and beer on tap. Can't wait to try something else! read more

First off let me start off with the owners. Bev and Jim are great people. I first visited this facility back in December 2013 and felt welcome on the first night. If you are looking for a good bar/restaurant to hang out at without all the drama, this is it. Their staff has been nothing but friendly and accepting to EVERY customer that has walked through their doors. Their food is great. Prime Rib, burgers, hot wings, all excellent and at a great price! If you like your drinks "stiff" and cheap, come here! So swing on in and give them a shot! Overall, great people and atmosphere! read more

If you're looking for a spot where the bartenders are drunker than the guests, this might be for you. Drinks were prompt, but the rest of the experience was a dud. The final straw was when they had no clue what to do with my husband's winning tickets from their "slot machine". I was also pretty appalled at all of the young kids allowed in after 9, maybe this isn't a law in Iowa? read more

It's a short order grill and fried with above average quality food. Having good quality food means to me it is not full of junk. Sure it's fried, but the chicken is good and the beef is angus. Selection is limited, but for a lodge it is good enough! read more

Great food at great prices. Had the wings they were awesome! Came for a Sunday afternoon lunch and the service was quick and friendly.

Had dinner here last night, and thought the food was solid. I had a patty melt with fries. The sandwich was very tasty. The fries were on the soft side, but still good. The establishment itself is pretty tiny. There are a handful of tables, a bar and a room with a billiard table. There are also a few TVs scattered about. Nice inexpensive option if you are in the area. read more

Horrible service for food. This is a bar and shouldn't serve food without more help and staff with believe a customer can wait 15+ minutes for their check. If you have 1 1/2 hour to order, eat and pay your bill, then this is the place for you. read more
