My house was built in 1937 and we had carpet for 22 years. I thought it would be nice to remove the carpet and refinish the original hardwood floor. I read good review about Victory floor. They helped moved all the furniture and re assemble all the beds. After 3 nights of sleeping in the living room, we were excited that the bedrooms are ready. Izzy also emailed how to care for this newly finished hardwood floor. I'm very happy with the results. Yes, it was dusty and I had anxiety about that. This felt like a classic salesman pitch of over-promise and under-deliver. We wanted our original 1950s red/white oak floors sanded to achieve something more neutral. Izzy rolled in hot talking about how they can get the red out of the "red oak" flooring and get what we wanted. We asked for samples multiple times, but it was a constant battle to get any (since they do this work all the time it would be so easy to go pick up this material and make sample boards). They told us it takes two days to make samples and we ultimately felt we were pushed and had no choice. Izzy sent us photos of the one sample they made and told us there's basically nothing to approve, it's just how it's going to look. Even though we told them we're coming to look at it (we had to move out of the house), we got there in the next hour to view the samples and it was already sanded off the floor and the crew was proceeding. The foreman Jovany constantly seemed annoyed by our confusion, since we were sold on a certain look we were hoping they'd follow through on. He appeased us by making some other samples with stains but his attitude was always "I told you so" when it didn't look good. They didn't leave our home the way they found it - they drove a screw into our window jambs to hang up our router, and Izzy claimed it's because "we were going to paint"; not the case and why would you treat someone's home as if it's in a state of repair anyway? I've read previous reviews they do this on freshly painted walls. They also damaged our router in doing so and it cost me $100 to repair (they accepted covering this cost). Our doors were removed and put back SO dirty. The crew didn't bother to clean their hand prints off anything. Communication is terrible through the project. I tried to confirm 3 times of our project dates, 5 days before and struggled to get answers until the morning of. Izzy and the crew differ all the time. Izzy will promise something that the crew knows can't happen and we felt confused and misled. This mostly had to do with the finished outcome of our floors. And additionally, there was a lot of excitement and selling us about how they put furniture pads on all our furniture when it goes back in...The foreman showed up to help us move furniture back in, without any in hand and had no idea what was talking about / gave me attitude that they don't do that. Again, frustrating disconnect between sales and crew. Pros: - Though we don't feel our original vision was understood, the floors are done well. - It felt like a fair price at $5500 to sand our 1200 sq ft home. - They're quick about quotes and doing the job. read more

Absolute JOKE. A lady showed up late... took measurements, had NO SAMPLES to show, and when I showed her photos of what we want she said "Oh yes, I know exactly what you 'll need". NO SAMPLE?? Seriously?? Two days later... they sent an "estimate" with NO measurements!! I waited two days... for an Estimate. I called them, texted them and emailed them... Nothing. One day later this guy sends me a text reply "...I left for the day at 4pm" SERIOUSLY?? So your cell phone does not work after 4pm? Most people can reply to a text message after 4pm... Anyway... certainly not professional in any way, shape of form. If you want a Mickey Mouse style estimate, THIS place is great. My niece bought a 100 year old house that had been neglected for years. I offered to have the hardwood floors refinished and began getting estimates. The 1st guy was from a long established flooring business in Pasadena. He said the floors were not thick enough to be refinished and needed to be replaced to the tune of $10k. Great experience getting our floors redone with Izzy and his crew. We purchased a larger fridge that wouldn't fit in the space we had so we needed to redo the cabinets. Which then lead us opening up the wall between kitchen and living room. Which then lead us to victory Hardwood Floors since we now had a gap in our old as dirt flooring and needed to up date. Izzy and his team installed engineered hardwood flooring to my second floor and stairs. The floors look gorgeous and I am extremely happy with the work from start to finish! I had gotten several estimates, and I went with Izzy because he was confident, had a clear vision on how to renovate my stairs, was a good communicator, and his estimate was fair (within 5% of others).  Izzy was personally very involved in helping me choose the flooring material. He listened to what I was looking for and gave me many suggestions. I liked that he said he values quality and makes sure he stocks his showroom with reputable manufacturers only. He insisted that I take home 3 samples that I liked to make sure I would also like it in my home - I'm so glad that he did because when I took them home, I realized they didn't match well with the existing flooring I had on my first level. I went to a separate flooring store on my own and picked a different color...but when it was delivered, it was not what I expected at all! There were some quality issues and perhaps some poor color judgment on my part. This totally screwed up his installation schedule, but Izzy was very understanding, was on my side, and advocated for the manufacturer to take the material back. He then worked tirelessly to find me a replacement, which I now completely love!  During the installation, I came across one panel on my stairs that I didn't like. Nothing defective, but I found the wood markings on that particular piece to be aesthetically unpleasing. I know I'm being extraordinarily picky, but I asked Izzy to replace that one piece because I didn't want to be stuck looking at it everyday. I feel like Izzy really went the extra mile for me, and customer satisfaction is clearly a top priority at Victory Floors. Izzy's team was hard-working and made sure to clean up every day. I recently had my floors redone by Izzy's team. I was apprehensive about moving my whole house out to go through a floor change. I was clear that it wasn't going to be easy, since when you start the floors, everything else needs to be touched up. I had made a choice to go with old traditional flooring that required sanding and staining. Izzy's guys were reliable, respectful, and they made the ver cumbersome process seem easier than expected. They moved my furniture out with care, and moved it back in after everything was done. My floors are spectacular! I really appreciated their attention to detail such as floor transitions. I know that my job wasn't easy since they had to accommodate existing kitchen cabinets, etc... We had a great experience with Victory Hardwood Floors. We recently purchased a home that had been abused for years and used as an AirBnB party-house. Needless to say the floors were in horrible condition. (If anyone is reading this that is renting out their house as an AirBnB party house, please stop. Your neighbors will thank you.) At first when starting the renovation, because of the floors deteriorated condition, I had assumed the floors were of a cheaper engineered flooring, but upon closer inspection discovered it was solid wood! So the decision was made to refinish the floors. Victory Hardwood was part of a triple-bid and their estimate was very competitive. They even gave us a break on the stair work, which really tipped the scale. In the end the results were remarkable. Night and Day. They were able to not only smooth and level out the floors, but also bring out the richness of the wood grain. The floors look brand new and amazing.
