This dive bar has an old school vibe that I really like, reminds me of bars that you see in the movies. The food and drinks are solid and very affordable. Mariano is sweet and was patient when we were trying to figure out what kind of martini my mom likes lol.

I love this little dive bar! Good food, good drinks, and great prices. My husband and I love coming here when we just want to chill and have a good drink. The food is tasty and the bartenders are all friendly. I believe the cooks did change recently because I have noticed a difference in the food. Not a bad difference just difference. You can also see the difference in the wing photos I posted. The first time I visited the wings had a nice little crisp to them and weren't very saucy but last time I came they had a sauce on them. Both were good so I'm not complaining. Great local dive bar to visit.

This dive bar has been around since the 1960's but I am not sure of the year they first opened. It was a Tuesday night and they had a good crowd in there watching the Dodgers game and others watching the competition at the billiard table. They also sell Lottery tickets if you plan on taking a chance with some lucky numbers.

A Temple City institution. Drinks are cheap, and the food from the kitchen is tasty for very fair prices. They have DJs occasionally, a pool table, a vending machine for lottery scratch offs, and a touch tunes. Once you walk in and see the dark green interior you know what The Crest is about.

A friend suggested we come for a steak dinner and I was like, what? But, pleasantly surprised! Place was pretty packed and they got a reasonable menu. We had steak dinners which came with a baked potato and salad, plus an order of onion rings. The onion rings are pretty amazing. The steak dinner isn't bad, and def good for the price. You might get someone who comes over to take your order, but you might be better off just going to the bar and ordering there.

I've been a temple city resident for over two dozen years and never had the pleasure of dining at this vintage neighborhood "dive" bar. My steak was prepared perfectly medium rare. Good food, good prices, great customer service.

Sunday Funday here at the Crest Lounge. Nancy, one of our favorite bartenders, works the day shift and SHE makes the absolute BEST Bloody Marys. Service is spot on here at the Crest.

I love this place. They have the best burgers! Also a decent steak dinner for cheap! They have music and some nights karaoke. Service is spot on!

I feel like I just flashed back in time here. Prices bring me back to the 90's when I was bar crawling in my heyday. I just dated myself, but let's not get stuck in the details and back to how great this bar is. Taco Tuesday is awesome. Tacos weren't the best I've ever had, but damn! $3 for 2 tacos! And it comes with chips and salsa?! Ok, so I do have to say the chips were soggy as hell from sitting in oil. Salsa isn't fresh. But what do you expect for $3? It's exactly what I expected. Good enough! I only stayed for the tacos and a beer. Was less than $10. The menu looks decent. Again, the prices are super cheap. I'll have to come back and review some of the items. The bartender Barbara was really nice. The beer was cold, the tacos were warm and did I mention the prices?! It's a quintessential dive bar. Would take all of my friends there to hang out. Highly recommend.

My cousin and I went after dinner and decided what the heck let's live. We really went in not knowing what to expect and ended up having a great time and meet amazing people. The bartender is a 70 year old man who walks like he can't possibly make any drinks but he certainly can and boy are they strong. So beware. The live band is amazing. It is small place but most of the men there are gentlemen and will offer you their seat. It was a great time. So if you go just be prepared, this is not your usual fancy lounge or bar.

Fun, social crowd with regulars that we met and openly welcomed us. I believe that I heard that there's live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. On street parking, or a small lot in the back, off the alley. Hours: 6:00am - 12:00am (next day), Fri-Sat 6:00am - 2:00am (next day). DRINKS, but NO FOOD: A couple Bloody Mary's (two with horseradish, one regular) which were well made. We also tried an Old Fashioned, an Espresso Martini, a Modelo Especial, and a Michelob Ultra. One round was picked up by regular patron but talk about reasonable prices. Our whole tab was only $28. I couldn't believe it. They don't serve food, but you're welcome to bring in whatever you'd like. Claro's Italian Market is across the street, and we heard that many regulars pick up something there and bring it over. Thanks Apple, Paul, Ozzy, and Christy for making our visit a memorable one. If you haven't been here before, definitely worth stopping in.
