I love this little dive bar! Good food, good drinks, and great prices. My husband and I love coming here when we just want to chill and have a good drink. The food is tasty and the bartenders are all friendly. I believe the cooks did change recently because I have noticed a difference in the food. Not a bad difference just difference. You can also see the difference in the wing photos I posted. The first time I visited the wings had a nice little crisp to them and weren't very saucy but last time I came they had a sauce on them. Both were good so I'm not complaining. Great local dive bar to visit.

Wonderful service. Cozy ambience. Ask about the "crack" sauce, it lives up to the name.

I LOVE The Crest. Great local watering spot with regulars and cheap drinks and food. All the bartenders are great, but my absolute fave is Mariano because he is so professional and good behind the bar. He really pays attention. The cook James is pretty awesome, too. This is definitely one of my top places to visit regularly.

This dive bar has been around since the 1960's but I am not sure of the year they first opened. It was a Tuesday night and they had a good crowd in there watching the Dodgers game and others watching the competition at the billiard table. They also sell Lottery tickets if you plan on taking a chance with some lucky numbers.

A Temple City institution. Drinks are cheap, and the food from the kitchen is tasty for very fair prices. They have DJs occasionally, a pool table, a vending machine for lottery scratch offs, and a touch tunes. Once you walk in and see the dark green interior you know what The Crest is about.

A friend suggested we come for a steak dinner and I was like, what? But, pleasantly surprised! Place was pretty packed and they got a reasonable menu. We had steak dinners which came with a baked potato and salad, plus an order of onion rings. The onion rings are pretty amazing. The steak dinner isn't bad, and def good for the price. You might get someone who comes over to take your order, but you might be better off just going to the bar and ordering there.

Sunday Funday here at the Crest Lounge. Nancy, one of our favorite bartenders, works the day shift and SHE makes the absolute BEST Bloody Marys. Service is spot on here at the Crest.

I've been a temple city resident for over two dozen years and never had the pleasure of dining at this vintage neighborhood "dive" bar. My steak was prepared perfectly medium rare. Good food, good prices, great customer service.

Ambiance is super warm, the service and bartenders are amazing as well. I can honestly say this is one of the best bars in the 626.. Aesthetically pleasing and the drinks are actually made well. They don't use that shitty sweet and sour mix, a lot of syrups are made in house, they have a nice selection of spirits and the overall speakeasy vibes are immaculate. I was pleasantly surprised when I sent an email to the address on the website and received a reply with the password in a little over thirty minutes. After parking, we didn't have any problems finding the entrance even though it is not marked. Look for the big wood double doors and doorman standing in front. After giving him the password, he opened the doors and we walked in. We were surprised in several ways. The place is way bigger than I would expect for a place named "The Speakeasy". And at 6:30pm on a Sunday, we were the only guests inside. Only one other couple came in during the 30 minutes we were there. I would assume they are a lot busier on Friday and Saturday night. It is dimly lit, and very red inside. The bar is large with many bottles of liquor on display and many seats. The rest of the space is one large area that must have at least 20 tables, and the ceiling is high. It gives off more of a nightclub vibe than a speakeasy vibe. I tried the Naked & Famous cocktail which has two of my favorite spirits (Vida mezcal, aperol, yellow Chartreuse, lime, $18). It was nicely balanced with a good mix of smoke and herbal flavor. She had the Pablo's Poison (Altos reposado tequila, strawberry, lime, jalapeno, elderflower, $17). The jalapeno flavor really stood out with strawberry and elderflower in the background. They have a good cocktail menu with almost twenty cocktails, as well as a food menu with ten items. Walk up to the bar to order your drinks. Jeremy, the manager, and the female bartender whose name who I didn't get were nice. We aren't in Pasadena very often, and while they have a good cocktail menu, I don't know if we would return. We were expecting more.

If I go with a group in one month, I definitely make time to go by myself within that same month and pay for 2 people to meet the minimum for the weekends. It's worth it. Service Charges and Taxes will be added to the final tab... and any amount that exceeds the $60 credit worth of food/drinks (of course). Skewers are delicious, fries and taters are crispy, and the booze make me happy. I'm very glad they still serve Jinro over Good Day / Soon Hari (they taste funky compared to Jinro). They also have a cool beer tower where there is a separate chamber filled with ice to keep the beer cold without diluting it (melted ice). Rooms, restroom, and equipment continue to be clean and awesome quality. I just realized there are no minimums M-Th so I might go by myself after work even though it's only 2 hours of happy hour compared to the 4 hours on the weekends. They aren't cheap with their AC either unlike K-Republic when it was still open. This place is better than any place I know of in K-town and even the SGV. Moxie has ruined me for all other karaoke spots in SoCal and I have zero reasons to stray elsewhere. Parking is still plentiful and it's adjacent to a full plaza of eats, drinks, and a huge VONS.
