And I was only sipping for water. I decided to order Midori sour because my friend didn't finish her bulb light and I didn't want her to drink alone. I went to the bartender and she refused to serve the drink to me because she believed I was going to give my drink to my friend. How dare she just assumed just because I looked young. I was even willing to show my ID to her. She discriminated me and insulted me and embarrassed me. I love this little dive bar! Good food, good drinks, and great prices. My husband and I love coming here when we just want to chill and have a good drink. The food is tasty and the bartenders are all friendly. I believe the cooks did change recently because I have noticed a difference in the food. Not a bad difference just difference. You can also see the difference in the wing photos I posted. The first time I visited the wings had a nice little crisp to them and weren't very saucy but last time I came they had a sauce on them. I went back to this place because in the previous time I had a good experience. However, this time you had a b***** waitress that was talking about her personal problems to all the customers and then yells at me because I asked what was in the drink that she just made. Also the steak when it came out which is only $15.95 which is a great deal. It was sour. All you have to do is put salt and pepper on a steak. The male bartender was fine. But this latina female bartender there has some menopausal problem and really angry at the world. You want a bad experience come here. The management needs to know this experience. Very very bad. It was a Tuesday night and they had a good crowd in there watching the Dodgers game and others watching the competition at the billiard table. Love this place! Been meaning to check out forever and finally went on a Sat night after dinner nearby. It's an old school dive bar (think vinyl booths/seating). While I like fancy bars, I also like dive bars. This one did not disappoint. The bartender, when I told him we had never been before (I dragged the guy in my life), gave us the low down - very thorough and appreciated. They have karaoke on Wed and sometimes Sat. We were in luck as that Sat was karaoke. While I couldn't bribe my guy to sing (and neither could he entice me to do so), it was fun. Drinks were great. We both loved it and will be back. read more

I feel like I just flashed back in time here. Prices bring me back to the 90's when I was bar crawling in my heyday. I just dated myself, but let's not get stuck in the details and back to how great this bar is. Taco Tuesday is awesome. Tacos weren't the best I've ever had, but damn! $3 for 2 tacos! And it comes with chips and salsa?! Ok, so I do have to say the chips were soggy as hell from sitting in oil. Salsa isn't fresh. But what do you expect for $3? It's exactly what I expected. Good enough! I only stayed for the tacos and a beer. Was less than $10. The menu looks decent. Again, the prices are super cheap. I'll have to come back and review some of the items. The bartender Barbara was really nice. The beer was cold, the tacos were warm and did I mention the prices?! It's a quintessential dive bar. Would take all of my friends there to hang out. I found this place by random yelp search after a long day at work a few years ago, and it became one of my favorite spots. Yes, I was searching for a place for adult beverages, and if you know the area, you know that we don't have many options. The drinks were always good and super affordable. What surprised us was the food menu! They had the steak dinner for under $10 (before Covid), and it was some nice steak dinner; I actually brought friends there just for the steak dinner a few times. I think the steak dinner is about $12-$14 ish which is still a bargain compared to other restaurants in the area. I had tried the cheese burger, chicken wings, and I Always order the corn dog, just because it is such a county fair happy food :) I don't quite remember the price for each item, but I am sure they are all extremely fair, steak dinner, wings, corn dogs, 3-4 drinks later, the bill was only in the $40 range. I love this place because it is a local hangout spot; you see people came in for pool tournaments, regulars chatting with the bartender (with social distance now), friendly wait staff. Well I used to love coming here but recently I just had it. I've noticed prices were going up. My last visit prices went up again. 4.75 and 5.75 for bottle beer. 5.75 for a bottle modelo plus tip 6.75? I'm almost paying 7 bucks for a modelo? Other places have tap beer for cheaper for more ounces. Who wants to be dealing with carrying a bunch of change too. Also god forbid you want to order food. The cook lady tells you she's too busy? Be sure to check the calendar also if there is ANY sports game on wither it be the most obscure. The locals MUST have the audio on to listen to the game rather than have good vibes playing on the jukebox. Even if you put money in there they cut you off to hear the game. One of the male bartenders doesn't know how to make simple cocktails and the one female with the tattoos has an attitude. They offer an outdoor patio with spaced out tables and all staff wore masks. Tables were wiped down after each group left and we never came into contact with anyone less than 6 feet. They offer nice crunchy appetizers like corn dogs, japleno poppers, mozzarella sticks, wings as well as full entrees like steak and burgers. I was actually enjoyed my steak dinner. It wasn't a bad steak for $13.95 ( yeah, pandemic pricing). It also came with a ice berg salad, tender baked potato, butter, and sour cream. Wings were not much to look at but they were tender and flavorful. The thing that stood out was the bartender personally came out to make sure my friend's old fashion was done right. Barbra the bartender is so amazing at her job. She helped and took care of us very well. She also helped refill our waters every time as well as juggling the whole rest of the bar. She has great communication skills and skills at her work. My brother and I had a great time here and enjoyed her genuine kind and helpful service. As well as admiring her skills. She is confident and kind. The bar is clean. It was a very fun environment there are multiple clean restrooms. There are gender-neutral as well as male and female restrooms. The place is spacious. The environment has comfortably musical in the sense that it gives a vibe but it is not too loud, just at the right volume and vibe. Steak dinners used to be $8.99 but I'm sure this is the only price hike happening only in the past few years. It is now $9.49 for a steak dinner. You get a nice salad, a baked potato, a piece of meat I call steak. Everything is fresh where some places still serve old rotten pieces of lettuce with their salads. That's how you get sick. Not the case here because I could eat a whole plate of just the salad but I'm really here for the steak. It's tender, no frills, all thrills. You want seasoning? You want sauces? Go somewhere else. It's $10 for this plate. You can get all the butter and sour cream for your potato that you want. I prefer extra dressing. I guess I'm a purist when it comes to good fresh food made to order. Burgers are $5 for the Big "D" with cheese and a salad or chips. Drinks are the same way. I could only imagine the prices have not changed for this decade. A couple of beers for $3 or $4 depending on domestic or import. Mixed drinks are hovering $6, what a deal. What a steal... this is where you could say, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
