Very unprofessional! Chris Berman reached out to me via email regarding funding, when I responded I was referred to Derrick Garcia. Derrick needs multiple follow-ups to respond. I have not applied for anything, I was asking for an initial conversation on the process and how they can help us. I followed up because I have been ghosted, no nothing from Derrick nor Chris. Suddenly Derrick responded telling me that my application came in on a holiday. I was like "seriously? I have not applied for anything yet, I never submitted any documents yet and now you are saying underwriting is on process?". Joseph Hernandez / Crestmont Capital is horrible, do NOT deal with this guy. This is your typical roll out the red carpet only until the deal is done, once done you are dead to them. Unacceptable in my opinion, so here to tell everyone about it. I did end up getting the loan, but not through them- as it turns out they are only brokers. The problem was, I did not receive proper paperwork about the loan when it funded or before. Mainly because they demanded I take the loan that same day, it was a rush situation which wasn't an issue, but then, the next day when I asked for paperwork by email, I was put off. That was where I had issue. After some evasive and not so friendly emails were exchanged, finally I was able to talk to Joseph. However, he was a completely different individual then the one I was talking to from the day before. He was confrontational, rude and evasive, which made me nervous and alarmed, we exchanged gunfire for a while, mainly him talking over me and not listening, until he finally was going to hang up on me, I never did get what I needed until Allan (his manager) contacted me back. The whole time we were on the phone together, he only wanted to talk over me, and not hear me out, while threatening to hang up on me the whole time.... while all I was asking for was the paperwork to the loan that showed the cost numbers that we spoke of the day prior!! You'd think kind of a standard, important thing when you are taking a 75k loan right? This guy is extremely unprofessional and shady, and as paying customers for a service, we do not deserve it when these people are nice one day until we sign and the deal is done, then it all changes. When I told him I would leave a yelp review, this was his response: "I will visit yelp and tell them about you". I them told him I am the customer, how would you do that? He answered the email with my name and my company. Fraud maybe? It's all in email so it is provable to Yelp. A jerk yes, but at least not the smartest jerk I ever met. Allan the manager was professional and normal to deal with and ultimately pointed me in the direction to obtain what I needed. However, because of his guy Joseph and the way he deals with the customer, and with so many other options out there, I would probably just recommend staying away from these guys. read more

Don't do business with this company - they don't even fund the loans themselves. My sales rep Travis totally lied to me about the details of my business loan with them. I could not get out of it and pay it off early as I was promised when I took the loan. When I tried to talk to someone about it Travis totally disappeared and would not return my calls or e-mails. Definitely not a professional attitude when you decline their offer. approved for $100k and pay back on daily basis over 8 months is $133k, that says the interest paid is 33% but according to Travis Gerlach, I am wrong and i dont know how to calculate a simple interest rate. I understand it is based off of a declining principle but that is crazy to insult a potential client. Then I said, we will decline the offer as we have other better alternatives, he replies "what other offers do you have given COVID-19?" Seriously? I told him we have a line with Chase at 8% and he boldly says, then why did you apply with us, i told you it would be 15% interest rate. You are right Travis, i should not have bothered with your company and had done a simple search "crestmont capital reviews..." and notice that at the end the word scan is auto suggested and should have just ignored you guys. Your offer is absolutely outrageous in many avenues; 1. You insult your customers thinking you are better than them, however, you are the person working for someone else while we run a business. next time, instead of telling your customer, you don't know how to do it and you are wrong, educate. do not insult or under estimate any other human being. 2. based on $180k in A/R, $100k approval on the strictest terms of daily repayments and maximum of 8 months? okay fine, you are hedging your risk, I understand. 3. When someone declines your offer because you are the most ridiculous offer they have received, do not get offensive, it is not personal, I am not here to serve you and make you rich by paying 33% interest in 8 months so you can get a bonus. Just like you reject clients because they do not qualify, your potential clients have every right to decline to do business with you when they choose to do so. read more

This Company is worthless! Brian Williams, Director of Lending, (if he exists!) continued to email me with an offer of a small business line of credit, up to $250,000 at 3.57%. The email stated that Crestmont Capital works with Dun & Bradstreet to identify companies that qualify, and based on their analysis, my Company qualified and they could have my account set up to draw as quickly as 24 hours. I called in to speak with Brian Williams, and he is NEVER in, nor does he return phone calls. Emails sent to his address: bwilliams@crestmontcap.com, gets bounced back, as his server rejects my emails. Spoke with an employee; Carter, and was told not to waste his time. Carter was rude, and interrupted me talking. I called back to speak with Brian Williams, with no return call from him. On their website; they claim their services include: Small Business Line of Credit, Unsecured Working Capital Loans, Start Up Business Loans, Inventory Financing, Invoice Financing, Accounts Receivable Financing & Traditional Factoring. My business could use any and all of these types of financing, however, Crestmont Capital does none of these according to another employee that I spoke with, as he could not help me. My Business manufactures Flavored Malt Beverages, Imports Wine, and represents various Spirits Brands. Crestmont Capital is not a legitimate company. Don't waste your time! read more

Joke of a lender. After being solicited for funding based on business history I figured I would give them a try. Standard three months bank statements etc, have a 700 plus score and been in business for over ten years. Was not asking for more credit but rather refinance existing loans to the lower, advertised rate. So already servicing debt with no issues, just thought a lower rate would be great for bottom line. Travis started the whole, "oh that rate is for a secured loan but our rates for unsecured are good too." Proceeded but had to keep asking for status. Then suddenly another company contacted me regarding my application with them. Contacted Travis and he stated they forwarded my app to another lender since his underwriter didn't think we were a good risk. First, you don't forward anything without asking permission and second, you contacted me stating we were a good risk based on what you already saw. If I had less debt or more cash flow I wouldn't even need to look at a refi. read more
