Crestview Paint and Body did an AMAZING job fixing up my vehicle. After a northern (BIG) deer incident, my vehicle had a lovely dent right in the driver door crease, a deeeeeep, long scratch all the way to the metal, and the deer took the rear driver door handle too. After not even having my baby for a year, I was so sad to even look at the damage. A week after, we took it to Crestview Paint and Body, they assured us insurance was the best way to go we were able to set a date for assessment with our insurance. We dropped it off for repair and 3 weeks later, we got 'er back, looking BRAND NEW! What deer?! All the staff at Crestview Paint and Body were extremely helpful and kind! And they even took off a chunk of our deductible! Their work is amazing and their staff is awesome! I highly recommend Crestview Paint and Body! read more

Instead of fixing their shoddy paint job, they maybe waxed or buffed it. They should have fixed it (wet sanding?). They were supposed to repair my rim, but they lied and only polished it and moved it from the front to the back. I know this because I marked the rim. My car recorded a hard acceleration and hard braking while on their lot. The front clip is still gapping. The headlight was supposed to be polished where they had me drive it while awaiting parts. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CAR REPAIR SHOP!!! DO NOT...I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! These people are liars and snakes. First off I had called AAA on August 3rd to have my car sent to another shop. The gentleman that picked up my car came from Crestview Paint & Body and requested that I have my car towed to their shop. I wished I would have seen these reviews before agreeing to having my car towed here. My insurance company sent them the check a few weeks later and my car is still within their possession till this day. It's been almost three months for a cracked radiator and bent front frame. It's absolutely ridiculous. Each time I've called Wayne; he has lied to me about what day my car will be ready. As he will give me a date I will either call or go into the shop and then he will push it back another week. Or he would say he will call me back but never does. A vicious never ending cycle. I'm so frustrated as I've been more than patient and polite about the situation. At this point I'm pissed. The so-called receptionist is a joke and extremely rude. No consideration of time or compassion for their customers. She rudely hung up in my face several times after I acquired about my vehicle. No professionalism at all!!!! I'm an independent contractor and I need my vehicle. These people are cutting into my finances and it's just not right. This will sound like a joke. I assure you I am telling the truth. The tow truck operator charged with transporting my vehicle to my mechanic backed my car (from the flatbed) into a telephone pole. Pulled forward, and then lifted my car from the center of the chassis with the edge of the flatbed. He then walked to the rear of my car and wiped away the dirt from the impact. He made no effort to contact me or AAA to notify me that the vehicle had been damaged. Damaged trunk lid, rear bumper, muffler, undercarriage, and bent the exhaust pipe when it was driven into the ground from the bed. This is going to be a nightmare. read more

There's a reason the saying is, you get what you pay for. I would not under any circumstance use this body shop if you value the repair to your car. I was in a wreck in a car that had 7k miles on it. What I was told should only take 2 weeks ended up being 6. The insurance had run out on paying for the rental car and I too kept getting the run around. I wast told several times that my car was waiting on this or that when come to find out they hadn't even started the repair process. I got the car back and the paint job is horrible, had bubbles and debris, they didn't fix the locks, so I now have a 2013 car that requires 2 keys, one for the door, one for the ignition. There was and is still glass in the car from the wreck that they failed to clean up. The list just goes on and on. I will NEVER use this shop or recommend it to anyone. The insurance adjuster said they continually have issues with this shop, and be glad I got my car when I did. BBB will be contacted. read more

This has been a couple of months, but I work a lot and kept forgetting to write the review. First, when asking for an estimate for a dent we clearly stated we didn't want Bondo used. Our mistake was not looking carefully at the estimate because it was in fact used. We were told that the work would take 4 days. Being a one vehicle family we tried to plan this out carefully. I have Thursdays and Fridays off, so we brought the car in on a Tuesday morning figuring we should have it back by Friday afternoon only leaving me without it for work for two days. Friday comes around, no call. We call at about 1:00 to check on the status, the person who answers is there for towing and tells us that the body shop closes at 12:00 on Fridays. She was quite condescending and my husband was not happy with her tone or the fact that no one bothered to let us know about the status of our vehicle or that they close early on Fridays. Someone did try to call us back, but my husband didn't dare answer. When we finally got the car the middle of the next week (rain/humidity delays I guess), there was paint on the rubber underneath the window as well as the top of the bottom plastic. The owner ended up coming out. I told him that this looked like shit. He kept saying "I'm not to make excuses, but... *EXCUSE, EXCUSE, EXCUSE*" He did offer to take care of it, but as far as I was concerned I had already wasted enough time with them. There should have been no reason for me to give them the car back and wait for them to fix it when it should have never been given back to me the way it was in the first place. That's not even to mention the mess that was left inside my car and a couple of days later when I went to use my car charger it was missing! I wish we would have read reviews before we brought it there! The photos wouldn't upload, but it looked TERRIBLE! They picked her car up from the accident site at 8:00pm yet charged her $85 storage for the day. Then charged another $85 for a day they weren't even open. She went in the first day they were open only to be told there was no one there to talk to and they would call her the next morning. Next morning no call, she called them to be told that again no one there they would call her. After the third day of phone calls she finally called and got someone. When she asked what do I do from here the guy told her "well you can sign the title over to us and we will take care of it". The. Tried to charge her over $800. She did speak up about the fees for the days they were closed and didn't call her so they lowered it to $400. They went to her house to collect the $400 and take the title to her car. This is a women who was not in her right mind due to the accident and didn't know she had other options. She didn't realize she could have sold the car to a junk yard and made a little money. Something to help with the other charges she has to pay. No instead they completely blind side her, take her cash, and basically steal her car. This was the tow truck company sent by AAA when I broke down on I-10 late on a Saturday afternoon 300 miles from home. I was really worried, since I was by myself and sure I would never be able to get my car even looked at on a Sunday. The tow truck driver (I wish I got his name!) was really nice, he took the time to troubleshoot and figured out it was something really simple! He followed me to a gas station to make sure that my car continued to run. He saved me a ton of money and was very nice too. read more

Haven't lived in Crestview for too long. Needed a little repairs done to my wife's 2015 Honda Civic. Went to one body shop and they estimated the job at $700. Was going to just give up after hearing that price, but decided to stop at CPB and see what they could do. 4 Feb18, I had an incident with the driver of their rollback truck. I was on the side of the road in front of my house on East Chestnut Ave in Crestview fixing my garbage can, it had rained the night before and their was a very large puddle of water along my side of the road, now other vehicles on the road, the driver purposely moved to the edge to hit the puddle and splashed me. They fixed our car for free today! We are on vacation 500 miles from home when a car ran into us from behind last night as we slowed for a stop light. The impact demolished our bike rack pushing it into the hatch so that it couldn't be opened. These gentlemen cut off the bike rack and wouldn't take any money for it. 2007 Chevy Silverado, Silver/gray paint, left fender, rear bumper & tail gate damage. Estimate was lower than State Farm "authorized service centers", they sent a tow truck to my home in Shalimar (no charge) even though my truck was drivable, C P&B honored the policy of deleting $500 of my $1,000 deductable. Don't know how long it took to repair as I was out of town for two and a half weeks, but when I got back it was as good as new. Silver/gray is a tough color to match and it was perfect. read more

Three months ago I got in a vendor bender and took my car here for repair. It has been 3 months, and I am now in the waiting area (30 minutes till 5) waiting to pick up my car. Throughout the months, I have stopped by numerous times to check on the status of my car. It has been waiting in the back covered in pollen, dirt and leaves. The manager told my dad that it would be ready "next week" almost every week! We told them that if they didn't have it ready this week, we were taking my car elsewhere. I had a lot of damage to the passenger side of my Kia sport. Someone scraped the whole side while parked at a grocery store. I took it to Crestview Paint and Body they repaired and painted my vehicle it now looks like the day I bought it. Their staff was very helpful in helping find a vehicle while mine was being repaired. They offered to give me a ride to my home which I thought was above and beyond their means. And when they had to have my vehicle for an extra week they called to let me know. Do not go here under any circumstances!! I had minor damage to left tail light, bumper, and 1/4 panel, plus asked for a repair on a hood dent. After being told it was a 4 day job, I finally got my car back after 22 days. The paint job is lousy, the car was damaged at the shop and the ECM (computer) had to be replaced, and there were numerous fingerprints in the clear coat that looked horrible but the shop was still giving me the car back. They claim the car was struck by lightning while it was there (they refused to pay for the repair) but I think they either improperly charged the battery or improperly welded on it and blew the ECM. The paint job was determined to be substandard by 3 Gary Smith Honda supervisors. The whole experience was one big buffoon act. Every time I called, I was put on hold for at least 15 minutes, and most of the time, no one returned. I had to call back to get anyone. The owner, Ed Lowe, refused to talk to me, and slithered out his back door as I watched him through his 2 way mirror. The supervisor, Scott, stated that the incredibly lousy paint job on the hood was okay because we weren't paying for it anyway. The owner had told us he would fix the dent in the hood for free because of all the trouble we had. The bottom line is that I didn't want them to keep my car any longer for fear of them damaging it more, either by accident, incompetence, or on purpose. I am reporting them to both military bases, the Better Business Bureau, and anyone who will listen. You will be sorry if you use this body shop. read more

Worst body shop I've ever dealt with. Told me my car would be ready in 3 weeks tops and got it back to me 3 n half months later! Forgot to put the pin stripe on the side of my Cadillac when they repainted it and after I scheduled an appointment with them to bring it back and took off work to come out to have them put it on they told me the guy was off for the day after I sat in the lobby for an hour (I live 45 miles away). They suck you in by towing you for free no matter where you are and work with you on deductible by overcharging the insurance company. They do nothing but give you the run around and excuses as to why they over book there garage with cars. I wouldn't suggest this place to my enemies: I'll apologize in advance for them if you decide to take your vehicle there when hey mess it up or hold your car forever and tell it'll be ready "next week" for 3 months. First of all, saving a few hundred bucks on not paying your deductible is NOT worth dealing with these folk at Crestview Paint and Body. I was involved in a pretty significant accident late Dec 14. I called CPB thinking I could save a few dollars, boy what a mistake! After the initial assessment, they quoted 15-17 days for repair. 4 long months later, yes 4 MONTHS, I finally got my vehicle back. During that 4 months stint, trying to get an update from them in nearly impossible. They ladies that work the desk are clueless as to the status of any vehicle on the yard, and the service manager is either at lunch, on the phone, or simply not at work at all. When you do finally get them on the phone, they lie about the status and say only a few days more... I heard that same song and dance several times... Back to receiving my vehicle. When I got it back, something just didn't feel right after a few days of driving so I did a once over on the damaged areas. I noticed several missing and loose pieces of hardware: cotter pins, nuts, bolts and the rear leaf spring clamps were even loosened for some reason??? I took it to the deanship for a certified inspection. They were shocked at the condition of the work. One of the missing bolts was to the upper control arm, a vital piece of the suspension. The bolt that was missing the nut had worked itself out and was ready to give way when I delivered them the vehicle. Now it looks like the dealership is going to file a supplemental claim through CPB and my insurance to get the work done right. Word of mouth is the best advertising and I wish I would have consulted with a few people before allowing them to work on my vehicle. They might be a good option for a minor fender bender, but I would not trust them with any thing significant (frame, suspension work, steering). Saving that deductible, might cost your life due to shoddy work. read more

After calling every day with no return phone call or update we finally got our vehicle back 47 days later. When we picked it up there was several parts they claimed they replaced and were the original parts. Once we asked about it they stated oh we must of missed that if you want to leave it we will take care of it. After 47 days I would never leave it there again. Took my 2002 Hyundai SUV in for their Supreme Paint Job . Paid $1146.00 and got a poor paint job . Took it back and got it back in the same condition. They didnt do some of the things that were agreed upon initially, didnt fasten the roof rack trim pieces on right so they all blew off on the Interstate . They ran the battery down by leaving the headlights on overnight. Painted over rusting spots without preparing them . Typical shoddy work . They just take your money and have no pride plus they had my car for 2 weeks instead of the 3 days which they said theyd have it for. My neighbor took their car to this place for a simple repair.... 5 weeks later it was ready for what should have been a four day repair ....After waiting five weeks his bumper almost fell off. Obviously a bad repair. He sat there for another three hours for them to attach the bumper that was loose.Got home and found more damage to his car that the insurance company paid for that wasn't fixed...What a nightmare and it still continues.....All he wants is his car to be fixed.....It was fixed alright... There is a big flashy sign (that may cause you to run off the road in the first place) that advertises that they will pay your deductible. That's how they draw you in. Being low on cash, we thought we would go here after my husband busted up the bumper on our lowered SRT-4 Neon by hitting an armadillo. Once you actually find the business, which is nowhere near the sign, be prepared to get taken on a ride down bullcrap creek. They kept the car for weeks for what was supposed to be a minor repair and repaint. Every time we called we got different excuses, they were waiting on the adjuster or the bumper would have to be replaced instead etc etc. We couldn't even pick the car up because it was sitting there with the bumper removed. When we FINALLY got the car back, it had a terrible paint job, which cracked, bubbled, and peeled, plus the bumper wasn't even reattached completely, which they had to fix while my husband waited. Apparently the owner came out, looked, and went back in without saying a word. Two years later we have a beautiful, rare car with an embarrassingly ugly bumper with holes and cracks all in the paint. I have been dealing with these people since the end of june. The damage I had done to my vehicle was due to a animal. All that needed fixed was the front bumper,battery box and inner splash shield. This is now october and the repairs still have yet to be done. Last time I was there they informed me that they now have the wrong bumper after 2 months of waiting and making multiple phones calls and no one returning my calls. Crestview Paint and Body is without a doubt the worst body shop in the USA. They completely botched up my repair, used used parts and charged the insurance company for new, my paint was full of runs and the car rattled all over. This was on a 6 month old car! When I asked to speak to Mr Lowe, the owner, I was told that he was not there, I saw him slip out the back door with my own eyes. This man is a coward and is ripping off the public. The insurance company is investigating the claim but have told me that Mr Lowe has good lawyers that always find a way to cover up for him and get him off. No case has ever made it to court. If you don't want your car messed up beyond repair then please ask for another shop's wrecker at the scene of your accident. My car is now in the Percision Auto Body in Crestview and they are attempting to correct all of Crestview paint and Body's mistakes. They told me it was not the first one. I only wish someone had warned me before I fell for their lies. If the other rater here really did get a good repair then I am happy for them, but I suspect that the reporter works at the shop. read more

Nita's review is right on the money. You should never take your car here. This shop will destroy your car and then stand on the fact that they saved your deductible as justification while kicking you out the door. Body shops don't usually get much repeat business because most people don't have multiple accidents in their lives, so they don't really care about making you happy. Most people think all shops are pretty much the same, but they are not. The only people that take their cars to this shop are people wanting their deductible saved. You have never head anyone say they are taking it there because they do such a good job. These dummy's even put the wrong front end on a car once, hoping the female owner wouldn't recognize the subtle differences. You get what you pay for and it is not possible for any body shop to save your deductible and still do all the work needed to fix your car properly. The insurance company pays to have it done correctly, but once Ed gets in your pocket, you've made a deal with the devil. He knows the insurance company will not come to your rescue because they already paid to have it done properly, and he justifies the poor quality because he saved your deductible. What you haven't saved is the exponential depreciation of your car due to the poor quality of the repairs, but he doesn't care about that. Any shop that needs to save your deductible to get business in the door, is a shop you need to stay away from. read more
