We were about to go on a week long vacation and could not send it in to Dell to have it repaired so we did some research for places in town to help us fix it. Walking into GadgetMates, I knew I made the right decision. The staff was friendly and very direct with pricing and timing. The person I inititaly spoke with even had the same laptop as my husband so he knew what to ask for right away. I left my info and they provided me with a card and ticket number, tagging both my laptop and charging block. They texted me all along the way. Once diagnosed, they called and let me know the damage. It was a reasonable charge for what was wrong. They had to have the part delivered so they quoted a specific amount of time but luckily for us, it was ready early and we picked it up the day we flew out of town. Literal perfect timing. They also were really good about letting my husband pick it up even though I was the one who dropped it off. The shop itself is clean and tidy and there are quite a few things to look at. I would recommend them to anyone who asks and be back in if we need another repair.

Despite seeking to cancel for sound basis and within the first 24 hours, we have been run around town "you need a corporate store!" (It is a corporate store) "manager will be in at __" "nope! Manager will be in at __" "only manager can waive the restocking fee" "only customer care can waive the restocking fee" the restocking fee is because the phone can't be resold because you opened the box." Etc etc yadda yadda... Selection? They had very little. Value? That's a negative. "The first bill is always twice as much" (the monthly bill we would end up with is much higher than we had agreed to in the contract, the first bill was to be more than twice.) Then they used "per diem" in a way that indicated that they had no actual definition. Honestly I feel as if we should have walked out when another set of potential customers threatened to kill a salesperson and then left. They had been on the phone waiting for customer service and the call was dropped. They might have been there for hours. One walked up to the salesperson who was working on them and told him. He was playing on his phone and continued to play on his phone but also started laughing. One of the employees stepped away to introduce himself and to see what we where looking for. We told him we wanted to redeem the T-Mobile gift and possibly upgrading. The gentleman stated that we hold on while he grabs the gift and that if we wanted to upgrade that he was working with another client and that he or one of his colleagues would assist when finishing with their client. He grabbed the gift right away and we looked around before heading out. I would recommend this shop if needing anything for your phone needs.
