Over the course of a few days, David had interacted with this store. He had paperwork. There was a set possible contract. I was not enthusiastic but I wanted him to feel good and how bad could it be? Why do I continue to challenge the universe to show me its bottom? The coverage was awful which led me to look at the email confirmations from the store at which point I discovered that they had misrepresented every aspect of the deal-- which they suddenly refer to as "an estimate." Despite seeking to cancel for sound basis and within the first 24 hours, we have been run around town "you need a corporate store!" (It is a corporate store) "manager will be in at __" "nope! Manager will be in at __" "only manager can waive the restocking fee" "only customer care can waive the restocking fee" the restocking fee is because the phone can't be resold because you opened the box." Etc etc yadda yadda... Selection? They had very little. Value? That's a negative. "The first bill is always twice as much" (the monthly bill we would end up with is much higher than we had agreed to in the contract, the first bill was to be more than twice.) Then they used "per diem" in a way that indicated that they had no actual definition. Honestly I feel as if we should have walked out when another set of potential customers threatened to kill a salesperson and then left. They had been on the phone waiting for customer service and the call was dropped. They might have been there for hours. One walked up to the salesperson who was working on them and told him. He was playing on his phone and continued to play on his phone but also started laughing. The manager went in the back and hid In the end a regular employee was able to waive half the restocking fee and refund some of the tax paid on the returned phone. I arrived yesterday afternoon around 1pm. When I arrived no one greeted me they just looked at me. The two people working the shift were with clients but did not acknowledge me at all. I thought that was pretty rude. I waited for about 5 minutes and just left. With this kind of customer service I'm even more convinced I want to switch companies. read more

Went into this store and got new iPhones. They misled us. We traded in phones and we wanted to pay off the balance of the phones immediately. Because we didn't want our monthly bill to increase. They said we could but we had to wait for the "trade in" to go through. We went back later to find out THEY LIED!! Just trying to sell phones and keep people in contracts. We gonna pull the phones that aren't under contract and go elsewhere. When the contracts are up we're out. I've been w this company since 2002. I'm done. Terrible. Everything they promised us to get us to switch over from our last carrier was an absolute lie. They told us they would pay off our last phones and our bill would be $130 a month for 2 lines. We have a paper contract from them that we signed stating everything we discussed. We get our fist bill its $200. They told us "oh ots a set up fee included and whoever set you guys up forgot to apply the paperless billing so just pay $180 and moving forward it would be $150". Which again.... is not what we agreed to. Then we get a bill for $1000 from prior carrier to pay off the phones. We call at&t and they told us "oh you dont qualify for that promotion"!!!! What?!?!?!?!?! That was the whole reason we switched!!!!?!?!?!?! What is that? An absolutely joke, there employees dont understand their own services or deals, they dont care to help or compensate anything, EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT STATING THEY WOULD PAY OFF THE PHONES AND OUR PAYMENT WOULD BE $130 A MONTH... After going about all day to going back and forth with Apple and a ATT authorized store at Town square, they went ahead and switched out my non working phone after seeing me in complete tears. MANAGER NANCY IS THE RUDEST PERSON THAT I EVER MEET. This lady accused and made me responsible for an account that was attached to my account as a glitch, that I am not related with at all. They have a store support number and she refused to use it to help me correct the issues I been having on my account, I know they have a number that answers much faster than calling the regular customer service. I am filling a complaint with Federal Communication Commission against AT&T and against this store. I will get in touch with the AT&T Executive Offices to report the behavior of this manager, very unprofessional and violating my legal rights. read more

Was told I could go back to my old plan if I didn't like the new one. It is within 30 days and now I am being told I might not be able to change it. Sales Rep that lies is Aaron Davis. I went in because my old phone is full and I needed a new phone, plus I had some questions about another phone that I was going to keep. I stood there for a while looking for an employee. There were two helping someone and then others wandering around. Finally I asked for help. It's like a mini apple store- completely ridiculous. So they signed me in and then I stood there are waited for at least a half hour while 5 employees stood there chatting and a few other employees seemed to be helping people. I just left. I don't want hip. I don't want gadgety gimmicks. I just want customer service. Purchasing yet another new phone was a breeze today! I can honestly say having Jacob as my service coordinator made all the difference in the world. Great service goes a very long way with me and today's experience at AT&T off of sunset in the McDonald's/Target parking lot was one of the best! Jacob took the time to explain everything, help me pick a number that worked well for my business and go over how the transfer worked and why it was important to take our time to do it right. I bought a new iPhone a few weeks ago and AT&T is my carrier. I needed to go here and get my number transferred to the new phone. When I walked in they appeared to be super buys and there were at least 15 people in there and they were all being helped. Thankfully there were only 2 people ahead of me waiting. I waited maybe 5 minutes before the guy that checked me in actually assisted me. The employee was a huge comic book fan like me and noticed I had a superman shirt on. I explained to him that it wasn't a shirt and it was actually the real thing. After his amazement that he relized I was superman he continued to assist me with my phone. The whole process went quick and I think I was there maybe 10 minutes tops. It was no charge and I paid my phone bill while I was there. The store has a Apple Store feel to it and which I guess is the new thing. The store had an open feel to it and the employee that helped me was super helpful. I have no idea how this store could possibly have a four-star rating. The employees range from incompetent to downright rude, including management. They will overcharge your account every time you look the other way, and they will not remove the fees after you discover their scams. They have added non-existent devices to my billing, as well as services I never agreed to. Little to no refunds once discovered. After 25 years with AT&T I've had it. I told them I was switching to Verizon and they basically said they didn't care. Goodbye AT&T. Remember when Blockbuster thought they were too big to fail? Update: Experience this time around so much better. Made an appointment online. Came right at appointment time, checked in with rep who greeted me at the door. My name was put at the top of cue over the walk-ins who were already there waiting. It took about two minutes till I was seen by the next available customer service representative. Cool! So I stress go online and make an appointment! att.com/storeappointment. Since I already ordered and received the new phone, all I needed was for the rep to do a line transfer activation since I used the cross upgrade from one our our available lines. Wade popped in a new sim card into the new phone, did the line switch and asked if we wanted insurance, which I said no to. This time were not fed any BS (ie it's mandatory) like last time. BAM! I hate this store they had a line of 8 customer's waiting and two greeters that do nothing but greet people. Two employees standing there talking about their personal business as 8 of us are waiting. It must be a tactic to get us to look at stuff and make us want to buy more things? I placed an order online, it's done and paid -- I want is my new phone and the SIM moved into it but sadly I still have to wait my turn. I had ordered and paid for my new phone online it was ready for me but of course AT&T has the salesman bring all kinds of accessories out and try to sell me things. Then the manager walks by so I comment to him that it's not good when there are eight people in line, waiting 45 minutes while watching two employees stand at the door and greet people yet not helping anyone. I was telling him that the line would be shorter and go quicker and people would be happier if they too participated in assisting customers. The manager "Alex McGinnis" snapped at me saying that I don't work for AT&T and I don't know their policies and I should mind my own business this guy was so rude, unprofessional and condescending that I canceled my order and walked out in tears. I will be switching to Sprint tomorrow I have an appointment and I will take myself and the three other lines on my account to Sprint. They will pay up to $650 per line on any phone installments or cancellation fees, which we have two, and they will charge us $100 a month for three lines, unlimited. ***Read Fully*** Approximately 2 months ago I began service with AT&T. At the time of setup I worked with an associate my the name of Michael, very polite and knowledgeable. We went over my bill extensively assuring it would be affordable to my budget. However when I received my first phone bill I was absolutely shocked expecting $250 and got a bill for $498. In order to pay this bill and continue service I had to take out a loan. This was stated as a miscommunication and I was told they'd waive the activation fees, plus some extra (approximately $100 more). Being about 160 that they'd deduct, although I had to come up with $250. The loan I took to pay the remainder will obviously cost even more then that to pay back. They waived the $60 activation fees and said they couldn't do anymore than that, and they usually don't even do this... So my question is do you usually not tell people EXACTLY what their first bill will include?! *********** The reason Im making this post is because if I was FULLY informed of this first bill, I would NOT have began service, knowing the financial hardship this would create for myself. I have strong reason to believe he knew I would NOT begin service and that's the reason I was NOT informed. So yes you got your sale, your commission, but I am now in a huge financial bind. This week I had to upgrade my iPhone 8+ and with my contract paid up I checked out this store and was helped by an intelligent gentleman. I was helped by Saba Hosseini and he was better then great. I'd recommend anyone to go and see him. He helped transfer all of my info to the new iPhone as I went for the iPhone 11 PRO MAX. The service was quick and the store takes every precaution due to the coronavirus. All deals are 1 to 1 with no bystanders. Store was exceptionally clean and all with masks and gloves. I love this location! Shawn welcomed us as we walked into the store. He is extremely down to earth, patience, and witty. I felt like we known each other for years. I would definitely recommend anyone to shop with Shawn. We purchased another Samsung and Apple Watch. They were not available at the Blue Diamond store. The other available agents didn't greet us. If all you do is go and Pay your Cell Phone bill, this place is Fine, but if you try to buy a cell phone or upgrade you service, then you are in trouble The Employees know very little about the service, and are at times very rude. I have gone in 3 times to upgrade, 2 of those 3 times I was in the store for 15min, and never saw me. Went into this store when I got my iPhone 5 on the 21st because I had a nanoSIM problem which prevented the phone from getting activated. The store was busy, so I waited patiently. Saw the store rep, don't remember her name, but she got me squared away and then tried to up sell me on the insurance, telling me it was the same as AppleCare+ , but I declined and came home. Today (October 1st) I noticed an Insurance charge and another locator charge on one of my lines ($10 total). I called customer service and she was puzzled why it got it on there and I explained what happened the phone and how I had to go down to the AT&T store and they tried to up sell me on the insurance and she confirmed that the rep put on the insurance on the line without my permission. read more

I'd been a customer of AT&T since it was Cingular, well pre-dating even the iPhone. About 16 years. I've been having several issues with reception and other stuff lately, but the real problem came when I went to upgrade my phones. I upgraded the first 3 lines fine, but there was some sort of internal screwup where the IMEI number on my iPhone didn't match. It was one character off. This problem led me to spending over 7 hours on the phone with customer service, and 3 trips to this location. Never once did this location apologize for the problem. The final straw was when the woman I was dealing with at the store, Harmony, said I should appreciate that she spent an hour working on this. She then started to give me serious attitude like I was somehow interrupting her day. So, I told her to forget about it, and I went to price check competitors like Sprint and Verizon. I ended up at Sprint, who cut my bill in half and gave me 4 brand new iPhones 6S Plus's (64 gig). Plus, Sprint has WiFi calling, which means I always have full bars in my house and office now. Far, far better service, at half the price. As for the AT&T store, I assume they get more incentives in signing people up than keeping people from leaving. So I doubt Harmony cares that her attitude cost her employer a customer who has maintained 4 lines, and purchased the most expensive phones they carried for the past 16 years. This kind of screw up could have been fixed and AT&T could have done something to make up for the problem. I would have been happy and would have not bothered them again for quite some time. But instead they sent me to deal with Harmony, who feels her time is more valuable than mine. To be fair, I should say I also dealt with Jeff Larimer there, and he was cool. read more
