I did inform him that it needed to arrive quickly as I'm going for surgery 9/8 and my wife doesn't know how to do tech stuff. So here we are now with intermittent service both phones and internet. I'll be looking for a different company after recovery and will not recommend them for anything. To fail us when we need it to be handled quickly is certainly not worth asking for such a recommendation.

One of the younger workers just does the bare minimum to the point where the explanations doesn't even make sense. I asked for how much the total was monthly and she said I don't know, and I can't tell you until I charge you. I asked if I can know before I pay and she said no. Then the manager came and explained that the promotion I was looking for was only for new lines. She could have just said that instead of saying I cannot tell you how much you're paying for until charging you. I said thank you to the person who didn't do the best in communicating anyway, but then she just ignored me. It's kind of prevalent in some millennial and Gen Z workers in terms of their attitudes, but honestly when it comes to customer service I probably wouldn't ask her anything if I go back to that location. She kind of throws out little bits of information here and there and I found myself having to wiggle out information to get a good deal. So as a buyer you don't really want that, you want the full breakdown. To be honest I was so ready to buy the phone and was about to pay until her response. I left and didn't get anything because her response just made me think I need to look in more to this before purchasing something with her. The manager though was awesome and if he is there I would definitely ask for him the moment a worker seems clueless before doing anything with payment.

It was busier than I might've expected on a random Wednesday afternoon, with a few customers being helped as well as an staff member on a Zoom call, giving some kind of presentation to other employees. There was a whole segment about how to ask friendly questions to get in with customers to find out what needs Verizon could offer to address. I almost wanted him to finish the call and then casually ask me about my line of work. There was a short wait before someone was able to assist me (hence the eavesdropping, though to be fair, the call was conducted in the middle of the store). She was nice, helpful and patient. I am forty years old and not the primary account holder for my cell phone plan, so I had to call my husband at work to get the PIN. This was not an especially enjoyable errand, but the staff and store were pleasant enough, and I had a new working cell phone when I walked out the door. I'd come back if I needed something else from Verizon.

As soon as I walked in they were able to help me immediately. My phone showed up here 1 day after ordering which was great considering delivery to me would have taken 3 days. I was just happy to get a new phone and they helped me transfer everything over. Everyone here was nice and I'm glad I chose this location.

They lost a year…read moreand half of my photos from the backup, customer service and sales experience felt like a they were trained to take advantage of you, and they charge an extra service fee compared to other Verizon stores. This location is part of the Verizon Victra company which operates separately from the Verizon stores. They have different customer service and sales standards as Verizon. I went to purchase a new iPhone here. After having a pleasant and informative experience at another Verizon verified store location, I decided to come here only because they had the iPhone with 512GB storage size in stock. I quickly realized customer service operated very differently here than the previous location I received help at. Later found out this location is a separately owned company named Verizon Victra. The sales people push you hard on extra add ons and are so blunt about it. They were not interested in doing any extra steps to insure you had a good experience there. In the previous store, the sales rep explained that backing up the device directly - from old iPhone to new iPhone- was the safest way to transfer all data and to check that everything is transferred over. At this Victra location they insisted that the iCloud was safer after I requested them 3 times to do a device to device direct transfer. So after their insistence i did the air loud transfer. They did not help or assist at all. They just told me I have to follow the prompts myself. They walked away and never came back until I went looking for them after the transfer seemed to be done. They didn't check to see if it was done, just went ahead and charged me the final fee, did not explain the services charged, didn't provide a receipt until I asked for it. I reviewed the receipt and saw there was an additional charge of $70 which I did not incur when I was at the previous Verizon location. I asked them what that was for and they answered that all the Victra company locations add their own service fees in addition to the Verizon service fees. After the transfer via iCloud I scrolled through my photos and it seemed to have everything there. I checked the most recent few months obviously and I checked how far back the photos went. I focused on checking off the start and end periods of the data and did not go through everything carefully enough. After a few weeks I realized a huge chunk of my photos and videos did not get transferred over and was not stored in iCloud. I lost a year and half of my photos- of my young kids photos. It broke my heart. I know I should have backed it up elsewhere, that's on me. But overall I felt so terribly with my experience in that store that I remember walking out feeling like I was taken advantage of. Please check the locations and make sure it's not a Verizon Victra store before walking in. It's not worth it!

New network operator wasn't able to complete this process in person, in store. Recommended I visit Boost Mobil to get it done; return with a number transfer pin. Closest Boost Mobil was here. Store has a Venice Boulevard address but is actually a quick right turn from the eastbound bus lane onto a congested, really narrow residential side street mere feet prior to a massive shopping center, I believe called the Culver Center. Parking available behind Boost Mobil's business. Antonio to the rescue. No judgement, just kind, expedient, professional service. Worst part was having to provide a facial recognition selfie to prove it was indeed me. If I'd known I'd have done hair, makeup. Nah, that wouldn't have helped; old, ugly and no back lighting.
