We didn't get the passcodes for the home we purchased from the previous owners. I didn't care much until a day when I had to replace a battery in a window sensor and the alarm went off and I didn't know how to disarm it. We set a time and his colleague came EARLY (imagine that) and was polite. He asked if he should take his shoes off and he immediately went to work on the control panels. He had to hard reset the system and test it out. He explained to me how to arm, disarm, and reset. He also explained a few things that I had no idea about. He gave me a battery that I'd need to buy to replace the sensor batteries in the future. They said they'd contact me with a quote in the following days. Never heard from them. I finally reached out and they said they were waiting on control 4 for information on my system. So I called control 4 to see what the delay was. Control 4 let me know they had never heard of crisp audio and nobody from crisp had reached out to them about my system. Whyyyy? I found Richy here on Yelp. I just completed a garage conversion but upgraded the entire network as well. This job consisted of moving all utilities underground including the cable and distributing connectivity throughout the property. It was more infrastructure than a big AV / Home Theatre project but there was some fun here too. We put a mounted 65" TV in the garage (now studio) and added 4 in-ceiling speakers (Polk) along with a 5G wireless access point. He also wired for a sub-woofer (not purchased yet) and wired 4 outdoor speakers, two of which are now mounted (Klipsch). Along the way we worked on what made the most sense given what I wanted - and that is kick-ass sound. We ended up with a Sonos wireless setup to control the music and sound volume (I use Spotify currently) along with a Russound amp that allows you to play either inside or outside or both and control the volume in each zone separately. He spent a considerable amount of time wiring up the place (when the walls were open) and took great care to protect the premises with pads and whatever necessary to ensure no damage was done. We finally tested everything yesterday and I'm happy with the results. I didn't go crazy with top notch equipment but I'm wondering if maybe I need more power in the amps to drive volume. But Richy is a good listener and will recommend something that aligns with your vision and budget. He's a good communicator (recommend texting) and has been helpful in walking me through the new system, the Sonos app and the new networking gear I have (now future proofed). I happily recommend his services. He's fairly priced and really takes pride in his work. And he cares - hard to find these days. read more

I had been suffering with very poor WiFi coverage in my home for several years. I don't have an attic or crawl space to run ethernet ... so I was stuck with WiFi "extenders". First let me say that I am a senior who is totally lost when it comes to the tech world. I've had a flat screen TV, a sound bar and a universal remote for three years that I've never been able to work properly. Bryan promptly showed up on Tuesday. He was smartly dressed, clean and very polite. He spent two hours programming my remote and simultaneously teaching me every step. He also diligently worked on the sound bar that had a connection problem. We went over things several times and in the end, he went over everything again to make sure that I understood. He even fixed my printer. Bryan was very knowledgeable, pleasant and most importantly patient with me. I didn't feel embarrassed that I didn't know what he was talking about. Tuesday night, after Bryan left, Richie emailed me to say thank you and checked to see if I was happy with the service and that all my issues were resolved. Great follow-up.
