Wow! Simply Wow! I remodeled my house almost 3 years ago and added 10 speakers to the ground floor ceilings. Last year I bought a Sonance Amp and a Sonos Port. Unfortunately it just sat. I promised myself, being a DYI person, I would install it this weekend. After a bunch of videos, I started to realize that there was a 50-50 chance that I would either destroy the amp or burn my house down. After a lot of searching, I called David at Doctor Gadget. He was able to fit me in the same day and quoted a very reasonable price. He arrived on time with Ali. David and Ali were as friendly as other reviews indicated. While Ali started tracing all of the speaker wires to the speakers, David started signing up my Iphone and my wife's Iphone to Sonos and then to two music apps. Unfortunately, during construction two speakers got disconected and the volume control for the patio was detrmined to have never been connected. No problem. David & Ali got everything hooked up. Then like magic, my ground floor was filled with music. I am afraid my dancing may lead to David and Ali never eating again (I am that bad of a dancer). But they were just as excited as we were for us to finally have music through out the ground floor. David also made wonderful recommendations for ways to tie the television into the speaker system. Won't ever utilize this company again. Took the guy four hours to put up tv mount. Next day was coming off the wall because he didn't screw into a beam. Had to fix myself. Also left big hole in the wall and did lousy repair job. I did everything over again myself. Threw away money with this place. Never again. read more

He asked a great deal of questions via phone and at first I thought he was a bit rude, but his quote to hang two tv's was quite reasonable. Once he arrived, I could tell he knew his job very well and those questions were just so he would know exactly what you needed and exactly what he needed to get the job done. David has been my media guy for over 13 years and for a reason. He is brilliant, creative, very personable and a great problem solver. And he's incredibly available when you have an issue and resourceful when you need a new piece of media equipment. As an example, when we moved into our house back in 2003, we learned that there was little usable media wiring. Two separate contractors we talked to said they'd have to break walls and ceilings and drill holes in floors to connect our media equipment in the locations we wanted. We then found David. He found creative, elegant ways to lay new wiring throughout the house and connect our equipment, including TV's, media boxes, modems, routers, Xboxes, etc., without breaking one wall or ceiling or drilling holes in floors.
