I've been coming here for over 15 years, and the consistency and flavor are truly second to none. I just returned from a trip to Mississippi, where I made a point of trying several local catfish restaurants, and I can confidently say this place has them all beat. Add in their unbeatable homemade tartar and cocktail sauces, and it's hard to find anything that compares. The value is just as impressive, at approximately a quarter of the price of many other catfish, shrimp, and chicken establishments. One of the things I love most is that I don't even have to read the menu. I just walk (or drive) up to the window and order exactly what I'm in the mood for. Maybe four pieces of catfish, 15 shrimp, and an order of fries. They always figure out the lowest price for exactly what I order, which I really appreciate. The people there though were very nice. now to the food. The chicken drumsticks and breast were very juicy and were seasoned, but not over seasoned.
