So I went with my daughter on a week day in the early morning! So luckily we were the only ones there! There is approx 4 high top tables (no chairs) And then 3/4 low tables with 4 chairs each. So depending on how busy, you'll be able to sit inside! I got a traditional cone (which is superior in my opinion) filled with Nutella, vanilla and strawberries! It was really good! I 100% would get it again! The cones are like a soft dough and they were delicious! My biggest advice is to make sure you grab lots of napkins and get an extra cup, it melts pretty fast and gets messy to just easier to pop the ice cream in a separate cup! My biggest complaint is that no one answers the phones no matter how much you call. I drove from an hour away and when I got there the open sign wasn't on so I was nervous! The basic price for the crispy cone is about $9. There was very little soft serve ice cream in the cone as compared with the advertised photo of the finished product. The cone itself is very thick and bread like. I thought that the toppings were very sweet. Crispy Cones is a new ice cream place that opened up off Route 8. The location was easy to get to and they had a lot of parking. The shop itself is really cute; I love the decor with the neon ice cream sign. I ordered the traditional cone (cinnamon sugar) with nutella filling, swirl ice cream, peanut butter cups as the topping, and caramel sauce for the drizzle. The nutella + ice cream + topping + drizzle was amazing! I love soft serve and the quality of this soft serve was really good. Unfortunately the crispy cone itself was not great. It was a lot more doughy than I expected, and I also expected it to be sweeter. Everyone in the shop was so nice. The menu is by the registers so it can be a little hard to pick what you want while waiting in line. That being said, it was really easy to order at the kiosk and they prepared the cone really quickly. I also got a chance to meet the owners and they were really nice too! The best soft serve ice cream we have ever had not to mention the great toppings and the amazing cinnamon sugar cone. The sugar cone is made daily in house and it was soft and crunchy at the same time absolutely delicious. My husband and I both had the strawberry cheesecake and everything about it was tasty and we hard to see it end. Definitely worth the hour trip it took us to get there and we both recommend it and give it 10 stars if not more. The owners were also great people to talk and prices were great! read more

My daughter and I were so excited to try Crispy Cones. We really wanted to like it (so we'd have an alternative to Bruster's, which is just down the road) but unfortunately, it was disappointing. I think they needed to make sure they had a finally tuned machine before opening. Sorry to say, it was far from that. We came on a Saturday afternoon, there were about 14 people in the shop. No one greeted us, we had to figure out where the menu was, and how to order on our own. There were two frazzled people behind the counter (who I assume were the owners) trying their best to keep up with the orders. It was also a little off-putting to see that their uniforms had food splatters and didn't look crisp and clean. (I can't recall if it was an apron or not, it was black, so food showed up easily) if it was an apron, then they should have extras so they can change them out. The first thing they need, is a Greeter. Someone who makes you feel comfortable when you walk in the door, and offers to help you if you haven't ever been there before. They also need adequate signage- something that says "order Here " would be helpful. Because the space is long and narrow, the menu, (which is on a sidewall, and very hard to see unless you're practically pressed against the counter) is very difficult to read. Ordering is done on a computer screen. That's also when you find out how much everything costs. (these are very expensive!) It took about 13 minutes for our cones to be finished. That's a good chunk of time, and they really weren't even busy. Mine was simple, just the cone and the monthly special ice cream. My daughter had one with filling and add-ons. I found the cone to be doughy, and not crispy at all. The ice cream, which was coconut, was tasty though. My daughter (who is 22) didn't care for the cone itself and left the entire thing, she ate some of the vanilla ice cream, which was nondescript. Once you get to the actual cone, it's quite difficult to eat. You end up with very sticky hands. Then you need to make a trip to the restroom (which accommodates one person) to wash them. The restroom is at the end of the bottleneck where you order so you need to squeeze past the confused people trying to place their orders. I can't even imagine what it would be like when it's actually busy! Hopefully, they will get some more staff, make the place more welcoming, and get more into "the groove" so that it's a pleasant experience for guests. As it was, we spent about $23 on two cones and left feeling duped‍. We will never go there again. read more

My boyfriend & I were very happy. I got a biscoff cone & he got an original which is cinnamon sugar. When you bite into it it's a soft pastry oozing out ice cream of your choice vanilla chocolate or twist. There's also a filling they put inside the cone.. You are greeted by an enthusiastic employee who points out the menu, and leaves you to make a decision...The choices were like none I had been offered before in a regular ice cream joint! So we chose, ordered and OMGolly!!! This big beautiful Sundae, on a "cone" in a cup to keep the drips to a minimum! The ice cream is a soft serve that was one of the best ever! The "cone" (yes, it is a fluffy, crispy donut disguised as a cone!) was drizzled with my choice, ice cream was added, and then toppings!! It was a meal!! I have never experienced this type of confection before, and if I didn't live 2 hours away, I would gladly blame it for the 20 pounds I know I would gain! Please give this a try!
