This place was good but not great. The ice cream was typical soft serve and the topping amount was a little on the light side. The cone, while not "crispy" is very good. Sort of like a donut at the bottom of your ice cream. All in all it was fine, but I won't be driving across town to go back. If you haven't tried it before, I think it's worth doing. Super cute new ice cream shop in a perfect location in the Hourglass District. The place has a lot of hype on social media and it made sense once we got there. Without even having the ice cream, the cone alone is *chefs kiss* delicious. The Nutella spread on the inside was such a nice touch and the ice cream was swirled pretty high. There was a short line outside, but service was great and speedy once you placed your order on the Self Order kiosk. I love everything about this place. I compare the cone to be a mix between an Auntie Annie's cinnamon sugar pretzel and a soft churro. So delicious. And spreading biscoff cookie butter on the inside before filling it with toppings and then swirling the ice cream. Genius! The only thing I would say that they need to work on is different sizing. It is entirely too much ice cream. That says a lot coming from me, I love sweets and ice cream but it's a lot. I wish they had different size options. The couple of times I have been the line is long, out the door but it goes fast! So don't let that discourage you! It's definitely worth the wait. Met the manager, he is so sweet and nice. I have dairy issues, but I love to try new ice cream spots. (Thank you, Lactaid.) This spot is one of the few places I've ever been that doesn't upset my stomach. The ordering procedure is a concept that is new to me. It is on a tablet-like thing and it essentially explains the flavors and toppings to you. You get to create your cone yourself instead of worrying about someone messing something up. I go once or twice a month and the staff is always cleaning. I used to work in fast food and I don't think I've ever cleaned that much. The store and preparation areas always look brand new, which is hard because there are a lot of white elements and we all know keeping white from turning to a dinghy beige is challenging. Their social media is always promoting local fundraisers and events. I find this pretty nifty since a lot of local businesses don't really do this. I will say the cone can get messy but there are napkins and moist towelettes everywhere. So, be sure to grab a few more than you normally would. If you're concerned about that, I've had the staff give me my cone on the side, ice cream in a cup. You can tear the cone apart and eat it like nachos. I thought that was pretty great. Two, maybe three times my order was made wrong. The staff was very friendly and quickly fixed it. However, that happens in any sort of business that serves food. Mistakes happen but the way the staff handles, addresses, and corrects them at this business is 10/10. read more

You can choose a filling, like peanut butter, or Nutella or a couple others. I can't remember what they were... And you can choose toppings like cookies or candies or caramel or fruit... At 6pm on a Sunday they were already out of their specialty flavor and only had vanilla and chocolate. My topping was cookie dough which was four pieces on the outside, not even mixed in with the ice cream. The bathroom was out of order and they won't even let you use the sink that is in plain sight two steps from where the counter is open. You might as well get soft serve ice cream from McDonalds, at least you can get a Crispy Cone and wash the stickiness off your hands all for a cheaper price. read more

Glad to have this new little gem in The Hourglass District. We went on a Saturday early evening. While it was crowded, the wait was reasonably short. My husband and I shared a cone which was plenty. The ice cream is fine, but it's really all about the cone. It's amazing! Some reviews commented on the price, but it's a small business making a speciality product. DQ is down the street if you want a more affordable soft serve. Other reviews comment on the size of the cup (which appears to be made to hold up the cone perfectly) and the ice cream melting too quickly. I'm sure the ice cream melts slower in North Dakota in the winter, but this is Spring in Florida. So... Anywho, it's delicious. Right off the bat, I didn't feel welcomed by the staff. Even though it was not busy at all, there was no hello or anything when we came in, and when we received our cones, the workers continued to be very unfriendly. In addition, once they finished serving us and a few customers who had come in after us, they all went in the back area where we could hear them having a loud personal conversation. Aside from the poor service, the soft serve ice cream was bland and difficult to eat with the cone. I basically had to eat the top swirl part of the ice cream first with a spoon and then pick at the cone part afterward. The cone was very good but the ice cream had next to no flavor . Tips are forced there was no place on payment screen to put 0 tip . We don't tip at places where they do not wait on you at the table . Service sucks. Hired a slew of young ppl who cld not care less about you the customer. They have strongly held opinions about certain political and social hot topics and they flaunt these opinions in certain ways. For business sake, try appearing neutral. Cones are great. Ice cream nothing to rave about. If you want a water they want you to know that's too much to ask for and will charge you $3. They have ways to pressure you to tip the employees. They don't acknowledge your existence and they seem ti do very little. It's novel and I really hope they make it, but sadly they don't seem out to win big.
