Great selection of plants! Friendly and helpful staff members. I appreciated the prices and health of the plants.

Honestly the best nursery I have ever been too. Everyone is so friendly and I could spend hours roaming around here. You can tell all the workers are very friendly and passionate about what they do.

Vast variety of verve , great plants and energetic staff. Looking to plant something lovely or bringing the outside inside HGP may be the place for you!

Some of the flowers I purchased. I had to eventually get a bigger basket.

This place is awesome. I don't have a green thumb and this is my first time starting a garden. I have a new home and didn't know what to do. The nice cashiers asked Katie to help me. And THAT she did. She literally looked at my home pictures and yard and drew out her suggestion. She gave me the details on what's currently planted in my yard and what I should get. She then walked me around and showed me options for all of her suggestions. Most employees would try to sell you the whole store or the highest priced items. Katie told me that my builders did a great job with what's planted and that I only need to add to it. She said there was no need to dig up what's currently planted because it will be beautiful as it grows. She was so awesome that when she left me to tend to other customers, they asked me to reiterate what she told me about the plants we picked. I still needed mulch and met Jose by the cash registers. He was AWESOME too. He educated me on the various mulches and the grass plant that I desired. He even laughed because I didn't know the difference between bark and hardwood. This is such an awesome place. I saw Katie again on my way out and told her that she was such a great help that I felt like I owed her something. She told me to just come back and show her the pictures of my final product. What a gem. Educated staff that provide excellent service. I can't go anywhere else now. I can't wait to get started in the morning.

Ambrosia melon - 5 weeks in perspective

At the end of June, we stopped in just to see what vegetable/fruit plants HGP had in stock. I knew the offerings would be limited since it was so late in the planting season but it was worth it. They had a ton of peppers and a variety of melons. I ended up with a musk melon and an ambrosia melon; both were in great condition as were all the fruiting plants we saw. I've included pictures of the melons' growth from the time I planted it to 5 weeks later. There are 4 melons on the two vines so far and tons of healthy vine. These plants have done so much better than the ones I picked up at the local HD. Needless to say I'm looking forward to going back next spring for more plants...if not sooner.

My new favorite place for plants! This place is BEAUTIFUL. I was shocked that on Saturday morning there wasn't a crowd. They have a huge variety of North Texas friendly plants. Flowers, shrubs and trees are plentiful.

We've been driving by looking at this nursery, wanting to stop in and finally decided to today. We came in just looking for a couple of flowers to spruce up our porch at our apartment. First thing that caught my attention was the size of the land and quantity of plants that were very healthy and great looking. It was very clean, a good atmosphere and a very friendly staff. We got about to 25 very healthy plants and were expecting to pay around $200-$250 for them (based on past experiences at other nurseries.) We were shocked and super happy when our total came out to $99 and some change! This was a great experience and we'll definitely be back to add some more to our plant family!

Love this place! I bought all of my plants for my front gardening bed from here! I also bought 2 tress (one of which I buried my dog's ashes under)! They have many signs around so you can easy navigate through to hopefully help you find the right flowers, plants and/ or trees that would do well in your yard! (Pending on soil and sunlight. ) Then in the fall/October I bought 8 pumpkins! Fairly good price!

I visited last week looking for some indoor plants to add to my collection . They have a huge variety, but they are mostly outdoor type plants. Nevertheless very beautiful and lots to choose from. I picked up some succulents and a Coleus my son was dying to have. Pretty affordable, spent about $25 on 5 plants, and everyone was nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Service and selection are, hands down, amazing. Pricing is a little high, however. Overall, I love this place for its selection.

This place is incredible. Would recommend over Calloways or other big box options. Entire staff were extremely friendly.
