I am seeing quite a bit of one star reviews in which case I find really ridiculous! To put it simply, the tech was on time and even moved my appointment for a earlier date since I asked and found it most suiting for me. I found the fee fair to repair my dryer, since multiple things were wrong with it, like making a whole lot of noise and not heating at all. Other companies I have called wanted me to pay at least $50 extra for the same issue. It is because of this I find this company to be reliable, fast, and efficient (The repair took about 20 min total). The service from the technician was more than exceptional with his kind attitude and many suggestions to help better maintain my dryer. Went through my home warranty to have Mathew come out on a Thursday, so I took the day off of work to come service my stove. Well he cancels saying he had vehicle trouble and that we'd reschedule for Sunday 9am-11am. I said that works out fine. He Never showed up, I called and go figure they're closed Sunday. No notice, no heads up, just simply did not show up. called back Monday and no answer. Very poor way to run a business. read more

Cristo Appliance was assigned for a washer draining issue. Upon arrival, the tech looked at the washer, did not touch or took anything and gave diagnosis that it was not washer but our house drain line. He would call Warranty for approval. Hours later, he did call back and said, "we are not covered for drain clearance". We immediately called First American Warranty and we were covered. The call was transferred to a plumber but they weren't able to come for 6 days. Already in desperate need, we decided to look at issue ourselves. Putting a hose in the home drain line, turns out is was clear. We then took drain hose off washer and found paper masks had bunches up at bottom of washer line. Removed ourselves and back in service! Called 1st American to cancel plumber. Ok, but since Cristo Appliance made a diagnosis we would not receive service fee refund. If Cristo Appliance had done their job correctly, actually looked at draining issue on washer, ok. But they made an improper diagnosis and called to say we weren't covered. What a joke and waste of money caused by them and First American Warranty! read more

Having Christo Appliances work on our refrigerator was the best decision ever! Working with LG was an absolute pain. We were directed to 2 other places, each were a frustrating experience. When I called Matthew, he immediately stood out as both professional and respectful. He came out right away and diagnosed the issue properly. What stood out and proves that Cristo appliances works with integrity and honesty, is Matthew could've easily taken payment from me for something that I was able to get elsewhere for free. He told me about it and I was able to save money from LG directly. I was ready to pay... and Matthew was honest. That shows his and this companies character. Owner beware. Do not use this company. They were sent out to the west end of the Antelope Valley by LG to repair my refrigerator which was still under warranty. Matthew showed up. Diagnosed the problem then called me back two days later saying the company does not service my neighborhood. Cristo Appliance abandoned the work order. I had to restart process again with LG. Was without a refrigerator/freezer for two weeks. What a nightmare! read more

My refrigerator was not running as efficient as it should. I found Cristo Appliances on Yelp and I am glad I gave them a call. They showed up as promised and they were up front with their pricing. Matt showed up and he immediately began to troubleshoot my refrigerator. All my 13 year old refrigerator needed was a good cleaning and Matt promptly completed the work and the price was perfect. I will definitely will be calling them again a year from now to perform a yearly cleaning and/or if any of my other appliances need any repairs. read more

This company is one of the worst I have every encountered. The owner of the company diagnosed the problem over the phone and told me a Tech would be sent to my house to diagnosed the problem. The Tech came out and diagnosed my Samsung refrigerator, found the problem and said he could fix it. What the tech told me in the field was completely different to what the company sent to my home warranty company in a repair order. I re-contacted the owner of Cristo and told him what the warranty company said. I informed the owner the warranty company said Cristo sent them repair order and it said it was a owner maintenance issue. The owner told me he did not sent a repair order using that verbiage and would not do that. The owner said he would call me back to go over my repair. He finally called back and admitted he did sent a repair order stating it was a consumer maintenance issue. The owner told me it was my fault for not cleaning an internal drain line and that I should have been cleaning it every 3 months. I told the owner I read the owners manual on my refrigerator and it did not mention cleaning any internal drain line. The owner said I should call Samsung and complain to them and have them update their owner manual. (What a Joke are you kidding me). I informed the owner the Tech never related any consumer maintenance issue when he came and diagnosed the problem. The Tech said this issue is common and their company repairs theses drain lines all the time. The owner told me his Tech was misinformed and not properly trained to diagnose the problem, (are you kidding me again). The owner kept insisting it was my fault and I should call the warranty company back and have them send another repair company to my house. Bottom line, most home warranty companies hire sub-pare contractors to work for them, such as Cristo Appliance. The Home warranty companies only pay a fraction of the real repair costs to these companies, so most of the time these contractor's lose money on expensive repairs and hence many times write up their repair request to reflect it is the homeowners fault. I have had this issue several times, or the years, like many of you have had, with these Home warranty contractor's. Many do not have any integrity as in my case with the owner of Cristo Appliance. This owner lied to me about the repair order, tried to blame the breakdown on me, tried to tell me his Tech was inexperience and will be re-trained, has no integrity and had no intention of ever fixing my refrigerator because it was not a quick fix and he would lose money. What a shame and what a scam. I would never recommend Cristo Appliance for any repair. read more

My home warranty company sent this company to my house to repair my built in microwave oven. Upon the technicians five minute inspection, he told me the magnetron was cracked. That was also what he put on paper (and receipt) that he gave me. I gave him a $75 check for that checkout--price home warranty company states I must pay. Upon calling my home warranty company to check on the status of my repair, they stated that my magnetron had exploded and it was due to misuse. With this information, my home warranty company denied my claim. My microwave was manufactured in 2004 and installed in 2005 or 2006. The average life of a microwave is 9-10 years. So my $75 is gone and I have no microwave. I guess my six pieces of bacon in my BaconWave killed my microwave when I pushed 6 for 6 minutes cooking time. I heard that buzzing sound when something shorts out. The part that really bothered me was that he never told me or wrote down anything about an explosion but he sure let me know what his hourly rate was if I had to get a new microwave and have it installed ($80/hr). I have never written a bad review on anyone. I guess I finally wrote one because of the way I was treated and misrepresented by the technician that came to my house from this company. read more

But, the technician showed up at my home 1/2 hour early and then wouldn't stay because he had to go. He wouldn't honor our appointment time that was scheduled! Never again. read more

Sears wanted $260 just to come look at our microwave and they stressed "it's not fersure if we could fix it, so it might be more". Contacted Cristo Appliances and he came fixed our problem in minutes and charged only $30. He's very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely call back for any other issues that come across in the house. read more

SCAM ARTISTS DO NOT USE FOR ANYTHING. They came out to repair my freezer for an LG unit that was not freezing properly. They say that they fixed a fan and that it was cooling just right (wrong!). We loaded up the freezer after the "repair" and woke up to a giant puddle the next morning. I had an actual LG repairman come out and within two seconds he diagnosed the ACTUAL problem which was the compressor... you can hear it humming (any qualified repairman would have heard this)..... on top of all this mess I called them back to say that they had messed up and I was confronted with extreme attitude and denial. He claimed since I had SOME frosted over products when they checked it that it was fine (again total BS). Over a month of problems could have been easily resolved had this company been qualified to do a simple repair. And before ya'll fire back with more attitude you should check yourselves... 7 one star reviews out of 36 should feel you that YOU HAVE A PROBLEM! They were NOT the second company to assess... LG didn't show up to my first appointment so I had LG give Cristo the ticket. The LG guy that actually showed up today laughed at the story I told him about cristo and he assured me in there incompetence. Oh and BTW I NEVER said my crisper drawer needed repair... again another mistake on your end. Maybe stop responding with half a story and take accountability for once. this appliance repair service was confirmed by my home warranty service. i had a family medical emergency and had to cance my original appointment before the appointment date. then, unfortunately, i had a personal medical emergency and unavoidably missed a second appointment they had made but not confirmed with me. when i tried to confirm a new appointment he refused stating he did not have time for my repair. very irresponsible and inconsiderate of my emergency situation. i consider matthew irresponsible and unreliable, and unworthy of anyone's business. hat goes round comes around matt... good luck. read more
