What I am NOT okay with is the waitress bringing our hot food and holding the tray DIRECTLY OVER MY SLEEPING INFANT SON. I moved my hand out to signal to her that this was not acceptable, but she was either too indifferent or dense to notice this. For the icing on the cake, my food was somehow both burnt and cold.
