Mike the owner ("Bad Mike") was rude, wantonly unprofessional and borderline hostile. I literally had to call the police after "Bad Mike" refused to leave my property. I agreed to a $90 service call. I agreed to pay an extra 90 dollars out of good faith since the original service call lasted beyond an hour even though "Good Mike" stayed longer...and longer than I wanted him to stay, yet he insisted that the problem was narrowed down to just two possibilities. So after spending $180 and still not having heat fixed, I agreed to pay an extra $180 of labor plus any parts if, and only if, heat was actually restored. After $180 on the initial service call, I expected them to be able to completely diagnose the system rather than spend another "4 hours" only to then tell me that 'oh no...you're system is shot, you need to replace X, Y, and Z or just replace the whole furnace." By the way, we'll need you to pay another 180 to $360 in the meantime. And by the way, we want the money COD. We won't send you a bill. Um. No thanks. By the way you can leave the property. "Bad Mike" refused to leave at first. Only after I called 911 did he get off the property. Only after Wilmington Police showed up did he leave. Horrible experience. I was charged $500 (a lot more than the cost of the microwave!) for this and a maintenances clanging of my system. I had already agreed to the installation, so I paid. I think it was excessive. I also needed to create a cover for it.

Our AC went out during a heat wave. Our usual hvac service was inundated with calls with the 100 degree days and it was going to be a couple days before they got to us but I made an appt anyway and then started calling other companies to see if anyone could come sooner. All comfort came right away and said the unit was shot and needed to be replaced and they could do it the next day, just needed a large deposit, which I gave him. When I called our usual service to cancel the appt they informed me that our unit was still under warranty! and the "problem" with the unit all comfort described didn't make any sense. I realized we were being scammed and canceled the install and when our regular service guys got to look at the unit they found that the all comfort tech had stolen parts from the unit, probably to make sure it didn't start up again bc the actual problem with it was a really easy fix. Husband was out of town at the time so this guy probably figured I was an easy mark. Stay away!

We decided to go with Able HVAC because they were a small local business and they were the best price, on time and easy to reach.
