Took my 8 month old cat to get spayed. The whole surgery went like it should have and the people that day were nice. A week later (I feel like a terrible cat mom for noticing this late but I also have a baby that is my priority) she has gotten not only tapeworm from this place but fleas!!! She's an indoor cat and that's the only place we have taken her since. She is so uncomfortable and being that she is very affectionate kitty, we are having to keep her away from my son which is heartbreaking with knowing they are best friends. Hence the 1 star review. ***So as a warning if you guys are wanting to go get your animal fixed for cheap, this might be a consequence*** I also called today and all I got told was a sorry and they only treat fleas, but I did that myself with store bought products.... read more

Wow! Can't imagine how this was rated higher than what I'm giving it. Not only was the line long, no problem. It's a bunch of walk ins... but the wait was undeniably too long. Forty five minutes is a lot. My dog is anxious and now he is out of breath. We're here, as is every other person in line, because we care about our dogs to bring them to see the vet. Receptionist was nice, but vet spoke to me as if I'm an idiot. You don't know me. And my dogs are all very special to me. Please don't talk to your customers like they're not smart. Just speak to us kindly and help our fur babies out. I was referred as well which is why I'm disappointed. read more

I have an 80lb 8-month old lab, and I was super nervous getting her spayed. The staff was polite and overall services were much cheaper than the vet and so far she seems good (picked her up this morning). Only complaints I have are that I never received a call regarding how her surgery went or any updates. She also came home smelling like urine and she must have pooped in her cage there and they didn't clean her, because there was dried poop stuck to her bottom and all over her tail. Took almost an hour to get it all off and the smell out. Aside from that, I would recommend them for spay or neuter for sure- just get there early! The world needs more places like this! They are very organized and doing good work for animals and the community. I drove 40 miles to use their services because they were the closest that provided TNR at low or no cost. Highly recommend. It is alot of work to do the trapping yourself and to show up at the crack of dawn for drop off and pick up. Especially since they only take a limited number each day. I was VERY lucky to be #19 of the 20 for the day... on my 1st try! It was all worth it to make sure the community cats do not keep populating...I wish I knew about this place sooner! read more

First of all I want to say I appreciate what they do for the community but they have the most rudest staff there is. They are horrible the way they talk to customers, you can tell by there voice and facial expression how they get annoyed when you want to ask a question. Waited in line for over an hour only for them to tell me they won't vaccinate my animal because he is upset.... Well yea he is scared! I've been taking both my dogs for vaccinations. There's always a wait, specially when you go in at about lunch time. I always go in at about noon because for the life of me, I can't get up earlier lol From start to finish, I wait an average of 1 hour to 2 hours. I absolutely don't mind because vaccines are only $18 each, getting them at the vet is much pricier. Overall I've had a great experience. On 10/06/2021 my baby girl got spayed, I was there at 6:50 AM for check-in, dropped her off and left home, I was called at 12:20PM, I was told she was done with surgery. Today 3 days later, my baby had some issues so I emailed the clinic. I didn't expect to receive an answer since it's a Saturday, but Dr. Sarah Steen has been amazing! She answered my emails, and offered to check up my baby girl, even though their clinic is closed. She checked her, cleaned her, and gave me extra medications for my dog. This is my first time being a dog owner, I've been a little overwhelmed with post op care, but Dr Sarah's no-judgement advice and professionalism was very much appreciated! They started checking in pets right at 10 and it didn't take too long to get through the line and get the vaccines my pet needed. I also decided to get a microchip as well. The pricing of this place is pretty absurd. The staff is generally friendly but very uneducated about the clients care/needs. Upon speaking to the vet regarding our animal there were several times of disregard and belittling sprinkled throughout our communication. Will definitely not be coming back. This place knows how to handle animals their techs are like dog whisperers and they a act as if they truly understand these animals with a passion. I had an issue with one of our babies with another vet because he was too exited and showed signs of aggression they asked me to put a muzzle on him and handled the situation perfectly. I can't recommend Critters Without Litters enough and price wise you'll not even find a close match. Bang fir your buck to boot. I love this place ! read more

Many good things to say about them. Everyone was so nice. I went to get shots etc for some kittens. Always a waiting line and I was there an hour before opening. But once it opens they are efficient and it moves well. A bit much on the spray mist. Didn't smell good. Smelled like chemicals and some people had babies and were concerned. A sign explaining the reasoning for it would have helped. I love all the signs in the parking lot that get you right to the facility. Super idea. I called to get spay /neuter appts but they were booked over two months ahead. That was the biggest negative since they take ferals without appts every day but over two months to get mine done? I worry about pregnancies since I have male and female. But other than that very professional and nice nice people. read more

I had a great experience with this place. I dropped my 11 lb dog here on a Friday morning to be neutered. There was probably 15 people there waiting too, but the wait wasn't long at all. I was probably in and out in 20 minutes. My dog is under a year old and it was a total of $105.00 that included the neuter, a rabies shot that came with a complimentary dog tag and pain medication ($10.00), they give him pain medicine that day and syringes of medication to give him for the next 5 days with food. Since it was Friday I got to pick him up the same day around 2pm, He was groggy and I could tell he hated me for taking his manhood away from him! lol. They also gave him an E-collar to wear for 5-7 days so he won't lick his wound. The next day he was walking around just fine. day three he was going on small walks and day 5 he was playing ball. Day 7 he was back jogging 3 miles non stop with me at his own pace. read more

Very affordable shots for cats and dogs Monday through Thursday from 10-2. Wait is about an hour for shots but worth it for the price. Brought all my dogs here to get up to date on their shots. I also got them neutered here but it was limited availability, so I recommend calling and asking for availability! For the neuter appointment I brought my dog at 7am for check in and there was a bit of a line already so I would recommend getting there a bit earlier. After check in, it took half an hour for my dog to get checked out and then the staff informed me they would call me when he was done with surgery. They called me back at 1 to tell me he was ready and process was quick and easy for pick up. Definitely recommend coming here! read more

Remember to call ahead for spay appointment, usually take 3-4 weeks to get an open slot. They take in heat animals as well . Both of my cats recovered well within one week . I have taken 3 of my fur babies here to be spayed/neutered. In my experiences, the staff here is gentle and caring. The fees are reasonable and the wait times are short. I once waited a few years before taking my favorite dog in to be spayed just because I couldn't stand the thought of leaving her somewhere overnight. I know, it sounds silly. I was almost in tears as I handed her over, and the staff member assured me that he would take good care of her, as he could tell she was very special. This small gesture really did give me some peace. When I picked her up the very next day, her incision was small and she healed very quickly. The same goes for our cat, whom we have recently taken to be neutered. We could hardly tell he had a procedure and he seemed himself right away upon returning home. Personally, that says a lot to me about the way they were treated in my absence if they return to me as they were handed over (by that I mean not traumatized). It seems sad to have to say this, as I would see it as a given but some places are not as kind. Speaking for my experience with Critters Without Litters, I would recommend this place to anyone. Honestly this facility makes it so much easier and affordable to keep up with your dog or cat's vaccinations. While I can't speak about the services regarding their spay and neuter program since our new dog was already neutered when we got him, I will say the vaccination clinic was smooth, easy, and affordable. They run this vaccine clinic Monday through Thursday from 10am-2pm and it's only $12 per vaccination. My suggestion is to get there right before they start in the morning. I arrived with my dog in tow needing the bordatella vaccine and the rabies vaccine. After filling out a short form I was asked about my dog's current health and what shots he would need. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that you can also license your dog with the city or county there as well making it even easier and saving me an additional trip. After a short wait (I believe I was third in line) the veterinarian tech walked my dog to the exam room and gave him the shots he needed. He was brought right back out and I just waited a few more minutes for my rabies certificate and license tag paperwork and off we went. The staff was friendly and I will be back next year when he needs his next vaccination. read more

To start with, I've brought my German Shepherd to get neutered almost 3 years ago. He was inside all 3 weeks to make sure & still ended up really swollen & reddish. The staff was amazing & answered all my questions (back then). After last week I will never bring my dogs here again. I took my new German Shepherd to get neutered last week and the staff seemed irritated when I asked a question. I went home with my dog the same day since my dog's a male and it was a Friday. He seemed super uncomfortable and wined a lot. My other dog didn't do this so I thought "different dogs have different reactions." To get to the point, something seemed odd because he had swollen testicles and a swollen leg with a bump on his under stomach close to his penis. I never took him outside other than a walk to go to the restroom, so I didn't know why he was this bad. I called a couple minutes before 3pm with the concern and they wouldn't let me take him that day. (They probably thought I was over reacting) Turns out my dog needed more surgery & had to stay overnight twice & I went to pick him up & now he has tubes by his penis, has a lot of medication, & I have to do it since they don't keep dogs over the weekend. Poor baby is tired, skinny, in pain, & the dr clearly said if this doesn't go away he'll die. & that's why I will never come here again. They didn't charge me for him staying overnight but that doesn't change the fact that if he didn't go to this place, he wouldn't be so fatigue. read more

I've taken 3 dogs here to be spayed/neutered. Let me first say I am appreciative of this service for our community. However, 2 of my 3 animals got kennel cough at this facility. And then my reasonable spay/neutered service turn into a very expensive visit to the vet because Critters without Litters refused to acknowledge that my dogs got it from there facility and refused to treat them. When i talked to them they told me that unfortunately some of the animals they take in are sick. They should be screening the sick dogs out. I ended up having to go to my vet to get antibiotics for all of my dogs. This was the second time it's happened to me that my dog brought home kennel cough from this place. My dogs live mainly in my home and i know with certainty that they did t get it from my home. I would recommend to spend the little extra money and go to a vet as it will save you money in the long run. read more

What a great organization. The prices are very affordable. They will provide your dog and cat with necessary shots if needed for a small fee. Very organized. Fill out some papers and drop of your animal at 8:00-8:30am and pick them up the next morning at 7:30. The staff is very friendly. If you have a pet that needs to be fixed, I would highly reccomend this place.
