What a wonderful family run farm! Very family friendly, great parking, large farm stand with all kinds of goodies that they have either grown or made on site including ice cream, peppers, apples, peaches, pumpkins, blackberries, tomatoes and tons more! Friendly service with a smile and very helpful by explaining where each of the luck your own sites are. Great shady stress with picnic tables for a private party and a fun kids area too. You'll find a horse, geese, chickens, ducks and other animals around for the kids to enjoy. They also use compostable bags to give you and you can even buy bags of frozen veggies and fruit for smoothies!

The ice cream is absolutely delicious. We would have taken one of each kind if we weren't camping and had somewhere to store it. The apple cinnamon was to die for. The people are very nice. The property is gorgeous! Definitely recommend!

The berry picking is in the most picturesque location. Berry crop is beautiful and well maintained with high quality berries. The ice cream is to die for. Staff was very friendly as well.

    Amazing strawberry farm.

You seriously NEED to come here. It's the best strawberry picking I have been to and their ice cream is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Get the ice cream and you won't be sorry. Also, the staff are all really nice and helpful. Pro tip, I came on a Thursday and they close at 7, but you had to be there by about an hour before closing to get admitted. It's a really humble farm that deserves the attention. Just come here and you will be happy. Prices are very reasonable too. If you are in the Charlottesville area and want some quality berries (I think they have many other berries when it's in season) you should come here. It's only about 15-20 minutes from UVA.

This place is the real thing. A quaint little orchard stand with fruit picked right from the surrounding orchards. The owners are eager to please and encouraged us to try a peach and a nectarine before we made our purchase . You can go picking yourself or choose from the farm tables on the large shed. Delicious fruit and they even sell ice cream made on the premises using fresh fruit purees. Really a great place. We'll be back.

My wife made this pie with strawberries from this farm.

I had a best strawberry ice cream I ever had last week. They also have fresh and delicious strawberries you can pick or buy. You must try this farm.

The strawberry ice cream is creamy and delicious. Downside is their hours. Hard to swing by after work when they close before 6.

I didn't have any particular item that I was looking for, but boy did I get some goodies. This will take you a few hrs to walk thru, so plan accordingly. I bought popcorn on the way in, and it was indeed good. Very clean, and alot of shops to wander around in. I went straight into the quilt shop and bought some beautiful material. I plan on making some pillows in the near future. Wow the quilting shop was one for the books, I could have stayed in there for hrs. So many crafting ideas and nice material. They ladies do offer classes, or can tell you who does in the area. They have antique shops, puzzle store, cook ware, toy store, decor and food for purchase. Im sure I missed a few things. This is a must stop if your in the area. All the shops seemed amazing and reasonable priced. Lots of parking, and everyone was welcoming. I met a few fellow antique collectors along the way.

When we got there, we learned that nothing was available to be picked except for flowers which were way overpriced at $20 for 15 stems. So we walked around and looked at what they had to offer in their store. They had some peaches and nectarines to taste and I'm glad that we ended up not picking them because the white peaches had no flavor and the regular peaches were so tart. We did get to taste some of the other items they have for sale and I ended up buying a jar of peach salsa, which was sweet and spicy. Unfortunately they ended up double charging me for the one jar of peach salsa (the cashier made me scan my card twice because she said the first transaction didn't go through) and my credit card company reached out to me to ask if I had made both purchases. The saving grace for our hour and a half trip was their ice cream. They had some delicious peach flavored soft serve. I understand that picking fruits is seasonal, but for people like me who don't live nearby and check the website before making a long drive out, it would be great to make sure that the information posted is accurate.

The staff greeted us with warm smiles and helpful tips, making the experience feel welcoming from the start. Their marketplace has a wide selection of apple varieties, most of them are ready for sampling. While wandering the rows, we stumbled upon a few new favorites--crisp, sweet, and just the right amount of tart. If you're looking for a family‑friendly outing with fresh fruit, friendly faces, and plenty of tasty discoveries, Chiles Peach Orchard is a must‑visit. Notes: This maybe not in their control - lantern flies were everywhere, they don't bite, but they are invasive bugs, be careful not to get hitchhikers. Also, they sometimes add an admission fee on specific picking days, so check their website beforehand to avoid surprises.

We found that this farm fit the bill, with different pick-your-own options depending on season. Apple season had just started, so we headed on over. We first went into the small shop, where we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful young man. He explained how to determine which fruit was ready for picking, and sent us off with our bags to fill. The rows are well-marked, and I was thrilled to see that my favorite apple -- honey crisps -- were ripe and ready for picking. The farm has a large variety of apples -- golden delicious, gala, sweet surprise, ambrosia, etc. -- though not all were yet ripe. The trees were producing a lot of fruit, all of which was easy to reach, so our bags were filled in no time. We returned to the market, where we purchased quite a lot of additional fruits (peaches) and vegetables (okra, giant Marconi peppers, sweet banana peppers, green onions, and eggplant). They also sell other farm-fresh produce and eggs. There are also handmade wooden ornaments for sale. We didn't taste our haul until returning home -- both the peaches and apples taste amazing. Crisp and sweet. Fresh off the tree DOES make a difference! We haven't tasted the vegetables yet. -5-stars for food quality. -5 stars for staff. The gentleman in the store was very engaging, patiently answering a ton of our questions about the farm and its products. -5 stars for value. The prices are competitive with local grocery stores, but you're getting fresher products. -1 star for location. LOL. The farm is two hours away from our home! I wish it were closer to us. We would definitely be regulars there if it were! Seriously though, the location is easy to find, and convenient from Harrisonburg or Massanutten.
