I also tried their egg cream soda, but as the photo shows, the waitress could not even be bothered to mix it: so it was chocolate syrup underneath a cup full of soda water, and thats it, which was hard to stir with a plastic straw. Service was bad too. Waitress took forever, never checked on us, spent a lot of time hanging out with the chef, and spoke negatively about customers right in front of them while talking to the chef. However, one of the barista said he didn't really like it himself. I figured I should still try it. The sips I had while it was still warm was pretty juicy and sweet, but I really didn't like the notes once it cooled down (about 20 minutes later), which tasted sour and off-putting. I should have listened to that one barista and went with a different single origin option. Overall, good roaster -- just unfortunate that I tried something that wasn't for me. The baristas seem knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. I would love to come back next time and try another single origin offering.
