Even though I've passed Croce's Pasta a million times and never stopped in, today was the day to change that. Grabbed their house made cutlets and tomato sauce for dinner and I just heated it, added fresh sliced mozzarella. The cutlets were absolutely spectacular, same with the sauce. Only $13 for the 2 cutlets with a tub of sauce. Now every time I drive by I'm going to have to pick up cutlets because mistakes were made in the past by not coming here sooner. Stupendously scrumptious.

During these Covid times, it's hard not to be disappointed with take out food. By the time it arrives on your kitchen table, food gets cold, crispy bits get sodden and the quality just goes downhill. But Croce's food stays consistent. Our stand by order has been the tomato pie and I have decided their Italian hoagie is deliciously meaty and tasty. I love the banana peppers adding another layer of flavor. You know it's good when every Saturday morning there is fresh crisp bread options and a line of Italian grandpas with $100 bills for a wedge of parm that they ask to be freshly grated, loaves of ciabatta and multiple orders of lasagne and ravioli for their family dinners.

First time here and I'll probably be back again soon. Service was fast friendly and efficient. I got the makings for an antipasto which came out looking good and tasting even better. I also picked up some of their veal cutlets which were thin and crispy.

I have been to Croce's a couple of times now and it is a cool old school Italian kind of place. It almost feels like it should be on Mulberry Street in Little Italy. Today we had #2, prosciutto with fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers. The bread was super soft and fresh and the prosciutto sliced to order. This was a great sandwich! There is a lot of cool stuff at Croce's such as imported Italian sodas and other specialties. There are also homemade raviolis and sauces. One could easily spend 20-30 minutes in this small store walking around. There is parking around the back and some tables outside facing route 70. The staff at Croce's is very friendly and helpful. We had our lunch there on a pleasant summer afternoon. Absolutely worth a visit if you are in the area.

    Meatball parm sandwich $7.99

Been in the mood for Italian food lately so I decided to give Croce's a try. I ordered the Meatball Parm sandwich ($7.99) as well as a dozen Meat Raviolis ($5.99) with their pasta sauce ($2.99 for a pint) to-go. The lady at the counter was very pleasant and friendly. My sandwich was prepared quickly and I was out the door. For $7.99 for a sandwich with maybe 5 meatballs, the price is a bit much. It tasted good, but I wouldn't say it was the absolute best thing I've ever had. At that price point, I would expect maybe a side to go with it or make it a meal with a drink or something. I made the meat raviolis that night. I will say these tasted very fresh and would probably get again, but probably just use my own pasta sauce. They were filled with a bit more cheese than meat proportions than I would prefer, but overall tasted very delicious and makes for an easy dinner.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I live only a one minute or less walk from Croce's. Everyone in my neighborhood frequents the establishment. Every morning you can smell garlic and Italian herbs and spices in the air yesterday our Making all of the delicious fresh homemade Italian dishes. From handmade pasta's and ravioli two meatballs and sauces. They have marinara and meat sauce and Alfredo and their tomato pie is to die for! They have trays of dishes to choose from that you can heat at home. Sausage and peppers and chicken cutlets and veal cutlets and breaded pork chops plus tomato and mozzarella salad and cucumber salad and pasta salad... There's not much you won't find. You can also get fresh balls of mozzarella and they have bread delivered fresh every morning. On top of all that they also provide a deli where you can get sliced meats and cheeses along with subs and hoagies... Their Italian hoagie is the best I've ever had.And lastly they also offer a small Italian market with dried pastas and canned and jarred tomatoes for those who like to prepare at home. It makes things so convenient when I'm missing an ingredient or simply in need of some eggs lol. In their market they have an olive bar they have a nice selection of Italian cookies that you can purchase by the pound. They have authentic Italian candies and sodas. They even supply a few Italian appliances... i've had my eye on their espresso machine for a long time ha ha. The staff is wonderful family owned... it's like going into your friends parents home... They all know you everyone converses and even when there is a line during busier hours it's always a pleasure to be there. If I could add another starI would I recommend it to anyone who has yet to stop in at crutches. I don't believe there are many LOL not in my area anyway. And I have the good luck of being able to see it from my front porch!

Definitely an old school vibe to this place. Everything I have had had been good, but the red pie is the best around.

We were very impressed with the offerings for the special and excited to try it. When we arrived, we were greeted right away and sat immediately. There were surprisingly only 4 other tables at this time. We were immediately greeted by our server Tara who was very nice and explained everything on the special menu. From start to finish the experience and food were a 10/10! We both started with the complimentary bread and oil which was so good! Followed by the tomato pie also very good! For the first course I started with the calamari, which was incredible and my wife got the pork ribs, which was also very good. For the second course, I got the spaghetti which was amazing and my wife got the gnocchi which she too loved. For the third course, I got the beef medallions which were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. My wife got the chicken cutlet, which was huge, but she really enjoyed it and we got to take the rest of it home for lunch the next day. For the fourth course, I got the caramel custard and my wife got the cannoli. The caramel custard was honestly one of the best desserts I ever had. The experience was a 10 out of 10 and we will be returning and recommending to everyone we know!

My favorite restaurant that I went to while visiting Philly. This place feels like being back in…read moreItaly. It is tiny inside with just a bar and a couple tables. That's it. I love this European feel. Up first, I had a $17 El Noe. I was hoping for a strong burnt mezcal taste, but nope. It seems like only Florida gets this drink right. The drink wasn't bad at all, but I was just looking for that burnt taste. I also had a $18 Dirty Pasta Water Martini, basically a dirty martini. It was fine, but it came in a micro grass which was kind of weird. Clearly this isn't a place you come for cocktails. Now, onto the star of the night, the food. Up first, the $16 Spring Salad. Loved it, hit the spot. Also, had the $17 Arancini. I really liked those little balls and especially the dipping sauce. I had the $26 Rigatoni. It was absolutely phenomenal. I could go eat it every day. My mom had the $24 Tonnarelli and it was also top tier excellent. The flavors, the atmosphere, the staff, everything here is top notch. The Internet did not let me down. I'm so glad I decided to book this restaurant. I had a wonderful night.

The rumps seasonal pasta was great and would come back for that!…read more Maybe because I had higher expectations this was a 4 for me! The antipasti we chose the crudo was not my style of sashimi pairing. They added a fish with something even more oily/heavy so it just made everything heavy and not light and fresh which I prefer. The rigatoni honestly was way too salty for my taste. With the focaccia that's mid...it was less salty. The rumps seasonal pasta was delicious and fresh tasting! The service however is amazing and the server gave the great rec of the seasonal rumps pasta!

I have been here several times but finally decided to review this place. Cute little shop…read more Friendly and quick service. This visit I bought the fresh tagliatelle, lobster raviolis, spinach raviolis, bolognese sauce, and rose sauce. I froze the raviolis and have never tried them before so can't review yet. A pound of fresh tagliatelle with the sauces was plenty for two. I love fresh pasta. I'm not the best at making it at home so this is a perfect option. I love how they cut the pasta when you order it. That makes a huge difference in quality and texture. The bolognese sauce is very good. A lot of meat. Chunks of carrots. The flavors are delicious. It is a little greasy but you can fix that when heating it up. The rose is a mix of marinara and Alfredo. Thick and tasty. I definitely enjoyed both. It was a little too heavy considering we paired it with a thick pasta. They have so many sauces to try....cant wait to go back. They also have prepared foods to take out which I never tried. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Everything is fresh and homemade. Much better than some restaurants.
