The kilted definitely has a lot of peak and drinks very closely to a scotch. The honey one for me was my favorite and I ended up buying a bottle to bring home. My husband got an old-fashioned made with the Wapsie. He enjoyed it but liked it even more after the ice melted a bit. We were a little surprised that they close so early on a Monday but they close even earlier on Sundays so highly recommend that you pay attention to the operating hours if you're planning to visit.

It is a very different business model than their usual retail spots in shopping centers. We ordered some of their usual slushees: the adult orange push-up and adult chocolate milk. Just like at their other locations they can add an additional shot to these for additional flavors beyond just the base flavor (and a little extra kick). A new drink that some of our group ordered was the hammered duck. It is a combination of lemonade and snozzberry moonshine with a rubber duck floating on top. It is a nice summer drink and very photogenic! As far as food goes, the only thing we ordered was the salmon dip. It was also very good and served with warm pitas and tortilla chips. We look forward to returning and enjoying more of what Country Hammer has to offer.

Everything on the cocktail menu is fantastic, and it slightly changes seasonally as well. My partner ordered a Love Potion #9, and I ordered a seasonal espresso martini. Both drinks were excellent. The espresso martini at Love Katie has a little cream, which I love. The bartenders at Love Katie are all wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind, and the space is so cute. It would be a great date spot, as they have several board games to play while you sip.
