Loved it here! The beer choices were great and the key like martini flight was scrumptious. The indoor and outdoor seating areas provide plenty of space. The indoor area had seating, the indoor/outdoor bar, board games, coolers with pies and to-go cocktails, and tastings. The outdoor area had live music, beer pong, a food truck, and plenty of patio seating. We sat up at the bar inside, and the bartenders were attentive and friendly. The waitress at the Islamorada Brewery told us to come here since it was owned by the same people. Huge parking lot and saw a jeep wrapped in the name Crooked Palm Cabana. Tropical theme inside. Nobody was in the dining room but the bar was busy. Another patron had a custom pizza that looked tasty. Sat at a table next to the bar and ordered a Tropically Impaired hazy craft beer 6.1%. My friends also ordered drinks from the bar and played several rounds of Connect 4. Other board games were at other tables. Behind a glass wall there was a whiskey or spirits distillation system. The bathroom was clean with small round tile floors and a distinctive orange sink basin mounted above dark wood cabinetry. Fun staff good drinks and cool ambiance. read more

Stopped here for a late night snack and some tastey livations (Drinks). We ordered a meat lovers pizza. It was good and the bottom was tastey and crisp. Had the ornage dreamcicle and it was very good a strong. My wife went with a flight of beers. She loved them all. The blueberry one left a blueberry muffin like taste in her mouth afterwards, highly recommend. Staff was great explained everything and helped us order the right items for our liking. We closed it down! Of course it was 10pm and that was there closing time but at least I get to say that once in my life....lol. Clean, well laid out, tons of space. Great for large groups. read more

This place was referred to us to try it while in the keys. The Crooked Palm was locally famous for personal pizzas but my friends and I were just here for cocktails. The dirty martini was perfectly made but the olives were huge so I got my hubby to get more from the bartender. They were an appetizer in itself. Our first visit was today. Just came in for drinks later in the evening. The cocktails were definitely on point. Service was very friendly. We haven't been to the Keys for a couple of years, but love Islamorada brewing Company, and their vibe. This place doesn't disappoint. We arrived just after sunset and sat outside. Great atmosphere and a perfect spot to relax with friends and unwind. The drinks were excellent and they even brought us samples of their house rum to try which was a nice touch. We tried a variety of cocktails and they were all impressive. The espresso martini came with a strip of bacon.... yum! It was a hit. The ladies especially loved the Frosé and Drink Like a Fish. The Smoked Old Fashioned was a standout absolute fire! For food, we shared chicken bites and a few of their wood-fired pizzas (Neapolitan, Wisconsin, and prosciutto). Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was top-notch our server had such a great personality and really made the experience enjoyable. I wish I remembered her name to give her proper credit! From the very first moment, our experience at Crooked Palm Cabana was nothing short of exceptional. It all began with the sweetest phone call--actually, two of them--answered by Brittany. She was just as warm, pleasant, and knowledgeable on the phone as she was in person. She knew the menu inside and out, and every single recommendation she made was a total hit. And the cherry on top? She was working on her birthday and genuinely seemed happy to be there--her joy was contagious. We came for Sunday brunch around 11:15, and it was perfect. There was plenty of room to relax and be comfortable, the DJ was great, and the ambience was exactly what we were hoping for. The best way I can describe it is an outdoor escape--very upscale Jimmy Buffett vibes--with a separate adjacent outdoor area for kids, which was such a thoughtful touch. That brings me to Jimmy, the bartender. He made me the most delicious Bubble Trouble with fresh grapefruit--absolutely phenomenal. Even though we were seated outdoors away from the bar, Jimmy made a point to personally connect with all the patrons outside. You don't often remember a bartender's name in a setup like that, but he made everyone feel seen, welcomed, and joy-filled. Val was equally wonderful. She brought out our food efficiently, was incredibly friendly, and consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed--all with a smile. And finally, the manager, Shane--friendly, attentive, and clearly supportive of his staff. You can feel the positive team energy here, and it truly elevates the entire experience. Things we didn't like were the espresso martinis, their beers, their vodkas, pizza, meatballs, whipped feta, sandwiches, caprese salad, key lime pie... So basically everything on the menu sadly. If you follow my reviews you would notice that I'm a millennial parent that's constantly looking for kid friendly locations to Eat and drink. This spot is very kid friendly where there's room to run around in the back on artificial turf and it's fenced in so you can enjoy an excellent cocktail. My drink of choice initially was the local Islamorada citrus ale on draft. I also tried an old fashioned which was terrific. Not many places make a good old fashioned and even less places make them smoked. I loved the family vibes while having excellently crafted drinks. The bartenders were great. The bartenders were so nice in fact that when my wife was undecided on drinks to have she was given samplers to try. 5/5 I'm coming back again! We didn't have the food but the pizza looked like something I'm going to try the next time we go back! read more

This is my new favorite place in the Upper Keys! I attended a political event here, then a Chamber of Commerce after hours and yesterday, met a friend for happy hour. It did not disappoint! I love that there is both inside and outside seating. Inside can be a little loud. When the heat of the day lessens, they open the windows at the bar making it a speak easy ambiance to their outdoor seating. I have been both inside and outside and really didn't find the outside seating too hot as there are giant fans and shade everywhere. The wait staff (and bartenders) are the best! Everyone is super friendly and efficient. Yesterday, the bartender even made sure to sign me up for their locals program without me asking! A month back, I even had a business meeting here following the chamber after hours. We had drinks and accomplished a lot while sitting outside. It was so pleasant! I have had a variety of food. (Their menu is small). At the after hours, I grabbed some of the pizza, which was excellent! Last night, I did the HH appetizers - whipped feta mousse and the garlic parm chicken bites. Both were excellent. I took home the left over whipped feta! This refreshing spot in Tavernier is very welcome in the Upper Keys! read more

First and foremost the service was fantastic. Jordan and Scooter made us feel so welcome. We aren't big fans of vodka sodas but they had a great selection of Islamorada Brewing beers and amazing cocktails and mocktails. We saw the Showstopper Bloody Mary and while it was impressive it was too hot for that. Instead we went with the refreshing Cucumber Whitney and Rosemary Ruby followed by a mixed beer drink of No Wake Zone and Bud N' Mary's that Jordan had recommended. The Keys Smoked Fish Dip was made fresh and the baked dough bites it comes with were hot and tasty. Much better than the prepackaged crackers some places have. Their wood fired pizzas all looked delicious coming out to other tables but we weren't hungry enough to try one. It will definitely be something we try another time. We sat outside and the fans kept us cool enough even in the midday summer heat and we really enjoyed the ambiance. The wonderful service ensures we will stop by again and also visit the sister locations. read more

Really wanted to love this place because it seemed nice but I was so disappointed. Showed up mid day on a Saturday and it was empty outside so we decided to sit out there. I asked a staff member if I needed to order at the bar or if there was table service outside and was told they'd come out and assist me. I waited over 25 minutes before someone came to the table. Then, the waitress had a terrible attitude after I told her we had been waiting a while out there with not even some water being dropped off at the table. She blamed it on a big group that had arrived before us but the table next to us had just shown up and got attention quickly after we had been waiting all that time.
